Bay City Outfitters has THE FRIENDLIEST staff and a great selection of kayaks and accessories. They helped me locate a part that was near impossible to find anywhere else. I cant recommend them enough!

I found this shop about a year ago when my son and I moved to Palm Harbor. It has since changed ownership during that timeframe and has only improved. We had already purchased kayaks right before finding the shop, but we have been able to stop in and get different accessories (yak attack and such) for ours and when the time comes to upgrade we will come back. We have also been looking at electric bikes and saving for a couple and will be stopping in to purchase those as well within the next couple weeks. They will let you get on and try out the bikes to get a feel for them and make sure youre comfortable (especially if youve never been on an e-bike. Weve also purchased a few lures and soft baits as well. So far I havent been disappointed. Danielle (spelling?) Has always been amazing, very helpful, and answered any and all questions weve had even if it was just about the area. As an added bonus they do take care of their military, veterans, first responders as well!

By all means, shop around. But before you make an important decision on a kayak, go here. So happy with our purchase & appreciate their advice.

Pedal has fallen off now three times. Since I have taken kayak out three times; not great odds. Store won’t back purchase and refund our money even though we just purchased in December. My 83 year old Father fell in water trying to help me yesterday fish the pedal out of the water. Thank goodness he was not injured. Kayak was a birthday gift from my Retired Vet husband - and the store said basically too bad - no refunds. I like to support local business as much as possible. Don’t give them your hard earned money - hope I can help one person - buyer beware.

I purchased my MOTIVE EBIKE in April 2021. Bay City Outfitters was absolutely great preparing the bike for my personal use. Later in May I stopped to ask a couple of questions while riding by on the Pinellas Trail. They answered my questions and even checked my bike for any loose items. Today Friday, June 25 was riding on the Trail, Patrick Bay City Bike Mechanic, caught up to me. We talked as he was heading to work. The Bay City Team and Feelfree company goes the mile for you. I have spent the last 6 months struggling with the Citrus county DMV to title my kayak. I had to give them a supplement to a certificate of title on top of the MSO and invoice. The BC team (Bob, Wendy & Danielle) went the extra mile to get the Feelfree signature and their signature. I now have a legal title for my kayak. I understand this is not needed for other counties. I cant wait to get out on the water. Thank you for your commitment to your customers satisfaction.

BC Baycity kayaks what can I say im highly impressed with my purchase from you guys. After doing a month of researching on kayak motor mounts finding hardly any companies that do quality work i found these guys, called them up asked probably 100 questions come to realize these guys know what they are doing . If your in the market for a quality motor and mount for your kayak this is the place to buy from i spent 300 dollars more than what I would have getting some cheap China motor and mount ordered it had it in within a week and installed in less than an hour. Just want to thank BAYCITY KAYAKS for the quality mount and motor you guys did amazing.

Pedal fell off 3 times on the first 3 outings. Returned a third time and told me to bad, no refunds once it’s in the water. DO NOT buy from them. They will take your money and not back their product. Worse, they are rude and dismissive.

First time at this location, did a search on Google maps to find the closest kayak store near me. I needed to pick up some small stuff for a kayak trip. Was surprised to see one so close to the Palm Harbor area. Chris greeted me as I came in, seemed like a good guy. Once I had a chance to chat more with him this just confirmed it. I looked around and there were a good selection of fishing lures to my surprise. Lots of cool ways to rig your kayak that they can help you here. All and all its a really good place for your kayaking needs. Ill be sure to visit again.

Very unresponsive. I reached out to them on several different occasions about the cost theyd charge for installing a rudder on my kayak and never was given a reply or even a courtesy acknowledgement.

Great service and knowledge along with excellent product selection. I spent months looking for a fishing kayak that was 10 foot, not too heavy had accessory rails, stable hull and a decent seat. Found all this and more at a much lower price than other brands with similar features.

I stopped by to talk to you about kayaks. And was interrupted two or three times. And when you get back to me. It was like you had things to do. So that was wrong. So be HAPPY with it. I was going to buy one. But we went somewhere else.

Got a Diablos Amigo with the universal mount for my trolling motor. I have to say the kayak is AWESOME, and having a trolling motor allows me to get my spot quickly and then motor around the hot spots. I also bought a Penn reel/rod setup with a few baits. All their pricing is cheaper than the other local boat shops.

I purchased a pair of used kayaks due to $$ constraints for me and my son. Stopped in to this local shop close to my home. I had done some browsing on the internet. Much to my surprise found them to be comparably priced but with great customer service. He made a few suggestions and saved me a lot of money by explaining everything and not selling me things I thought I needed.
