Very disappointed with the service here! The mechanics are knowledgeable and they do explain things correctly but in a condescending manner assuming you have no idea. Its like theyre reading out of a manual but dont listen to what the customer has to say. What I mean is that they over talk and over explain something when it is not necessary. The communication needs to be improved as well, had to call to get updates even when they said they would call us. They wasted 2 weeks of our time and said our motor was blown and that it would need to be replaced. Which would have cost us thousands and still not have fixed the problem!! I took it home and did some diagnosing of my own in my driveway. Turned out to be just a clogged catalytic converter. This is our work truck which had an impact on our income. So our money was wasted and lost because of their negligence and disregard for peoples valuable time. On top of it all they didnt start diagnosing until 4 days in! Maybe just stick to the simple things like tires and brakes with this shop. But I wouldnt recommend them if you have a mechanical problem.

I truly value this Goodyear site. We have taken our cars there for at least 10 years. Those who work on my car are professional and knowledgeable. They have always done right by me. I am always treated well on the phone and in person. Consultation is very helpful and Mike, Gary, and Peter are particularly knowledgeable and willing to weigh in when I have questions. These guys were awesome! If you have a German/European car and dont wanna pay dealer prices for alignment you need to go here. I called 4 other tire shops that wouldnt touch my car,(I appreciate that honesty) another place told me no problem,a half hour later that changed to we cant do it. John was the service manager and was very knowledgeable,the techs were also on point with everything. Great experience, I would recommend this place.

A neighbor suggested I go to this Palm Harbor Goodyear location, when I learned that 2 of the 4 Goodyear tires I bought (from another tire store) three years ago were now worn down to the tread mark. I had only put 15,000 miles on these tires. Ryan greeted me politely when I first arrived and inspected my tires. The Manager, John came out to explain that the tires I originally purchased were not the right tires for my car. John told me that I would be better off with the Eagle Sport tires for my V-6 engine convertible and that he would work with me to get the best credit for trade-in for all 4 tires. John did what he said he would do, got me a decent credit for all 4 tires and recommended road hazard warranty protection, which I purchased. My new tires are clearly safer and it feels like my car is driving on air! I am very pleased with the service, the price and the professionalism of the whole transaction! Honestly, I would not even consider going to another tire store again - not when there is a Goodyear store like this one, so close to home. Thank you, John and Ryan - youre the best!

Great experience and prices. I ordered my tires online, scheduled my appointment easily. I checked in the day of my appointment. I was pleasantly greeted by the service manager. He explained everything to me with a smile. I waited for the installation of my tires (2 hours), watched tv, fresh coffee, and magazines to read in the waiting room. 5 star service.

My family and I have been bringing our cars to this location for years, for everything from oil changes and tires to general maintenance. John and his crew have always done a great job. Everyone I’ve encountered has been polite and professional and I trust the work they do. They are also always good at getting my car in, even when I’ve had last minute emergencies. After getting quotes around the area I went with Goodyear. The manager was able to give me a great deal on a set of eagle sport tires well below the competition. Everyone was professional and went out of their way to help me get a good deal. I will be back for my next set of tires. Thanks !

John is fantastic and really knows his stuff. The good folks at THIS Goodyear are amazing. My last invoice was 50 percent lower than the closest competitor. John recommends only what you need and they are very reasonable.

I was extremely impressed and appreciative of friendly and efficient service provided in the replacement 4 tires that were very noisy. No installation fee was charged. Manager went out of his to make sure that I was satisfied. I highly recommend this Goodyear store anyone.

I am updating my previous review owing to an upgrade in service at this store. I recently had an issue with my Expedition pulling to the right. I took it to a well respected place in Safety Harbor - Dannys Auto Repair. They charged me about $100, but the truck still pulled to the right slightly. I called and made a second apointment, waited 45 minutes to have the main guy come out with a piece of paper that he adamantly claimed proved the alignment was correct. Uh huh, but it still pulls. You could have told me that you werent going to do anything over the phone sir - now you have wasted my time, which I revere greatly more than money. The guys at Goodyear at first dismissed my assertion that a camber kit needed to be installed to allow tweaking same to get the truck to go straight, but in the end, they agreed and did as I asked. Now my truck runs straight as an arrow - just as it had for 17 years. Kudos to these guys for getting the job done right and thinking outside the box to do so. They arent maybe the cheapest in town, but again, what is most important - cheap or right. Ill take right every time.

Had tires that made an unusual noise, Eagle Sport. Really liked the tires because of the sporty steering feel. Through warranty, the store replaced them, and to probably even better tires. They put Assurance Maxlife; no unusual noise, quieter, but has nice handling and good grip, so better overall. Thanks to Goodyear hq, and to John and the technicians in this store for the great customer service.

Buyers beware! I bought tires in December of 2017. Unfortunately I get a pinhead screw in one. Stopped at my mechanics and he found dry rot in all 4 tires. He checked the manufacturers date and one tire was from early 2014 and the other 3 from early 2016. I paid full price for these already rotting tires!

Customer service is always wonderful and I never feel pressured. I find them very trustworthy.

These guys are the best. I picked up a shard of metal after Hurricane Irma wrecked our neighborhood. I put the spare on and drove up early before 8am, as this happened first thing in the morning before work. John got the car in and out in 30 minutes. I got the car back and the day never skipped a beat. Quick work for a fare price.

These guys are con artists. Run, go somewhere else. Quick. I went in for a oil change and free tire rotation. Two and a half hours later, they wanted to replace my pickups lower ball joints and a front hub/wheel bearings because they softly stated the front wheel could fall off. I declined theyre cost estimate of repair for $1300 and drove off. When I returned home to my local trusted mechanic, they informed me my front end needs no work.

Well run establishment with employees that actually know how it is suppose to be done! Great job guys!

This location has communication issues with the customers as well as ALWAYS upsells to more repairs even if you bring your vehicle for an oil change. I brought it in for an oil change and rotation and was told I needed rear brakes. I authorized that because the price was reasonable. When they called to let me know it was done, they informed me they broke the stud on the front wheel (which they would have known when they called to upsell me). Now, after reading other reviews, I wonder if the brakes needed to be replaced. I was also told that I would have to get a new wheel base to fix the stud because they cant repair it. Cost over $400.After the brakes started making noise, I brought it back to get them checked on a Saturday, which they did fix, but when I asked about the wheel stud, they claimed to not have known to check on it and the manager had left for the day. I could leave my car and pick it up on Monday because they were closed on Sunday. I told them I cant go without my car for it to just sit in their garage and when I came to pick it up, the manager was there.Then I had to go in to get the stud repaired (which apparently CAN be done and not at a cost of over $400 as Paul told me it would be).I purchased tires there at the end of 2016 and now 2.5 years later, the tires are flaking (the manager essentially is saying its a manufacturers defect) and they are offering me $22 proration on my $141 tires even though there is 60-70% of tread life left on my 65,000 mile tires. On top of this, when I had the brakes done, the guy tried to sell me on getting new tires because my tires would need to be replaced soon. Again, even with 60-70% tread left as per the manager.They are telling me Goodyear doesnt calculate prorations solely based on remaining tread life but they will give an amount back based on the cost of the tire you replace it with. This makes no sense and their warranty paperwork doesnt corroborate this information.I completely regret ever having my tires purchased from there and wont make that mistake again.

Over priced, slow (even with appointment) and of course tried to upsell me with an uneeded brake job and alignment.

Had an oil change done, and they said, as they usually do, that my air filter should be changed. I said I would do it myself later. Later, when I opened the hood, I found the old air filter uninstalled, lying next to the housing. I sent an email to Goodyear about the incident, and have not received an answer after 3 days. Then I called the center and reported the incident. They politely thanked me for reporting it, saying they would reprimand the technician. apologizing for my inconvenience. That was it. Better check under the hood after service is done here. Shouldnt have to do that.

The service manager was very sketchy and flat out lied to me. I had brought my car there and when I told them that I was no longer interested in their services he told me it was too late and that my car was already being worked on. I decided to stop there without letting them know and sure enough my car hadnt been touched. When I went in and told him that I saw that my car was not being worked on and wanted to take it home, he carelessly said I thought they were working on it, sorry. Rude, so glad that I found myself an honest mechanic and will never have to deal with these people ever again.

Ive gone here the past 2-3 years for oil changes.. Last week i got an oil change and the manager told me i needed new breaks. I figured i did but didnt have the money at the time so i waited another week and went to friend who does them.. He looked at my breaks and said im not even close to needing breaks... I will not go to them again... SHADY and just trying to rip off customers.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GOODYEAR

Worked here for 7 months. As general service associate I worked on cars doing regular oil changes, inspections, tires, and much more. Along with this, that I was unaware of when applying, was painting the interior of the shop, killing weeds, racking leaves, and almost cleaning gutters in my first month of working here. Basically, anything they needed done when I wasnt working on a car, I was required to do.I enjoyed learning how to work on cars and I enjoyed working with a few of the guys here. Mike happens to be the most recommendable and honorable men Ive ever had the good fortune to work with. I would recommend asking for him when needing anything big done on your vehicle.A common problem my family and I had with this workplace was that a 10/7 shift didnt always mean you got out at 7. Goodyear is now your life in short, was what was referenced to me when I started here. An issue that hurt my familys relationship with eachother. On one occasion, happening to be the forth of July that we were supposed to close at 4:30. But. Not for I. A car needing 4 tires was approved and brought in not long before 4:30, and I was expected and had to finish the car before going home for holiday celebrations. Easily an hour late. Time and time again of not being allowed to leave till the works done. Causing hours of time over what was schedule. This overtime being made up later so that overtime was rare.Unfortunately lies, gossip, and unnegotiable tasks are of plenty for those working here. Unorganized and incapable of a day without a clusterf&$@ happening.Leading to my ending of my employment at this store, I was approached randomly while working on a car and was told to hand in my cellular device for the rest of the day and to be permanently placed in the office each day. I was told that all phones were being collected and to be put there each day. (At this time my fiancé was pregnant with our first and was ready to go into labor any day) and only shortly after I came to find out that only my phone was being collected. No one else was asked to turn in their phone. Upon questioning this action, I was told that I was seen watching a movie while working on the car I was working on. In my tool box I often laid my phone next to my work to check my time and make sure my fiancé hadnt messaged with anything crucial. I would stand at my tool box to hydrate and to write down my findings of each inspection. In this encounter however, doing this, as I have been every car worked on, I was accused of watching a movie while working on cars. With denying and requesting my phone back for emergencies of my daughters birth, I was given two options. No warnings, plainly two options. Either I can leave my phone there and go back to work, or pack my things and end my employment.All along with suspicious thing like I didnt see anything if you didnt see anything from management multiple times and things like dont worry about that from management. Many employees are even told not to be trained or rely on the management here by higher ups in the company.If you do come here, request Mike for your vehicles service technician. I trusted him and respected him above all else. I am sorry to not work with him any longer, and I hope that he finds good fortune and good luck in his days to come.

I have used them for oil changes, new tires, you name it. They are priced fairly and do a good job.

Felt like the stereo typical mechanic shop taking advantage of the ignorant car owner.I went in for tires and got them however the alignment was so bad I took it to another place to do the job. These guys gave me a quote for almost $1000 for basic tune up actions like spark plugs and fluid changes. Wow what a criminal outfit!

I was told that the plug in my car had a slow leak and tire couldnt be fixed, they wanted to sell me a tire plus an additional back one so it wouldnt pull. Went and got a second opinion, the tire was patchable.

This place is so slow! My Jeep went in for a possible starter problem and took two days to figure out that it was the battery!
