I just moved to the area and have been looking for a salon. I found MOSS and saw it had amazing reviews. I had to try it out- I had the absolute best experience with Rachael today! She was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. I received a facial and massage from Annie, and it was by far one of the best I have ever received. I’ve gone to numerous places (from Massage Envy to spas at five star resorts) and I’ve never felt more relaxed.Annie was able to work out all of my problem areas during my massage, and gave me recommendations regarding my skin. Historically, I loathe facials. Too many oils, lotions on my face, then I get break outs -I have very sensitive skin. Annie totally changed my mind. She is a delight with a gentle touch, explaining each step. The environment was soothing and pleasant with no outside interfering noises. I will definitely go back!

I recently moved to Palm Coast and found MOSS Salon through Google. I called them a few weeks ago after reading several reviews and spoke to the owner to explain the services I was seeking and the needs I had. After listening intently to me, she felt that Rachael would be a best fit for me. The primary reason is that I have Donna Bella kera link fusion hair extensions and needed a stylist who had experience working around them when coloring and glazing hair. I shared my formula and directions from my prior stylist ahead of time so that Rachael would be prepped for my appointment. I could not have been more pleased with my entire experience upon arriving at the salon. They are COVID-ready and safety was their #1 priority. The salon was pretty, clean, and had a calming and spa like environment. Rachael greeted me in the parking lot and was extremely nice, cordial and understanding when I arrived about 10 min late due to traffic. Rachael did an excellent job on my hair color, my glaze and my color looked incredible after she was done. She was personable, professional and I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with her. Their pricing is competitive and I love the fact that they’re organic and doing what they can to help the environment. Overall, I had an exceptional experience and I do believe I’ve found my new forever salon in Palm Coast. The owner even called me over the weekend to ask how everything went. I’ve booked an appointment with Rachael for my husbands hair cut and I’m certain he will be in excellent hands with her. A+++ service and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a salon in Palm Coast. It’s a hidden gem!

I went in for my first facial, and Annie was wonderful! She is very knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely cares. The facial felt so nice and refreshing, and the massage was very relaxing. There were times that I fell into such a deep relaxation, I felt like I was in a dreamlike state, yet still awake. I recommend 100%. The salon itself is welcoming, and there are many organic products to choose from.

Just got my hair colored and cut today with Jaye. She is absolutely the best hair stylist that has done my hair. She is so good with color, I cannot say enough how creative and professional she is. I’ve gone to many different stylists and just felt “ok” about the cut and color. This is the second time I’ve seen her and am totally in love with my hair! The last cut grew in so great, as she gives a great cut! The salon is beautiful, they use all organic products. I must say, with the color used on my hair, my hair never felt or looked so good and really lasted. They use awesome products and they staff are really nice people! If you’re looking for a great salon, this is definitely worth checking out!

Rachel is a wonderful stylist and a nice person who is a pleasure to work with.Initially I was nervous as many people may be when trying a new stylist and salon. I was happily surprised how well the all natural products work and extremely happy with Rachel! Shes very talented and listens to -what you want and gives great advice! I was extremely pleased with the results and when I went back to my other stylist up North this summer, she too was very impressed with how both my highlights and the cut were done. I knew I was happy but its nice to hear how great it all looked from another professionals viewpoint!! I highly recommend Rachel!

Where do I start? I have NEVER been to a salon with this much talent! When we moved here from Montana last year, I got my hair done by a stylist that completely messed it up. Rachel not only fixed it, but the extensions she put in made me feel so incredibly beautiful. She listened and is so incredibly kind. Then there’s Annie. I’ve never had lash extensions before and she did such a great job. Also, she did a wonderful makeup tutorial as I’ve never been good at makeup application. These two women have literally changed my life. My self esteem was almost non-existent and now I have more confidence than I’ve had in a long time. MOSH is the best! Once you walk in you meet the staff with greeting smiles. I got my hair straightened and was skeptic about it initially until Amanda helped me out. She is a very nice person to talk to and very down to earth. Rachel was my stylist, she is lovely and has a charming smile. She was very patient with my hair(my hair was all frizzy) and I loved the conversation with her. When got out of this salon with my new straightened hair, I just loved loved myself. I got so many compliments as well. Love this salon and the service.

Florida’s gain is my loss! Lee Ann was my stylist for well over a decade! Her cutting, styling, and dyeing skills are superb. Lee Ann always gave me what I wanted and had expert advice for me whenever I had questions. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients. I always left my appointment feeling great and happy with my hair. Lee Ann also did the styles for my daughter in law and the bridal party.....beyond beautiful. She is amazing and a sweetheart. This was my second visit at MOSS coming from the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I am very impressed with the Salon decor and the organic products used. Rachael was my stylist and I must say that she has done an excellent job on my hair. She has a particular style of cutting hair which I have never seen before, but the end result was perfect. I have been impressed to see that her talent also spans all ages and genders. Her bridal and prom hair work is always gorgeous, too. I always go to Amanda but, have occasionally seen other stylists when I need to get in quick! Amanda takes her time to make sure your hair is perfect and is a super nice person! I have always been 100% thrilled with my cut and highlight! They all do a fabulous job and make you feel comfortable and relaxed! I have always loved everything about Amanda and everyone at MOSS. I am getting ready to make my first follow up appointment. Thats how pleased I am with my new cut and style from MOSS Salon.I took in a photo of a hair style I wanted, and Amanda adapted it to my hair and face shape. Rarely am I pleased, especially after going so short, but I certainly am this time. What a difference stylists who know their craft can make.The salon is fresh and clean, no chemical smells, no blaring music or TV. It was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to go back.

Annie: Wow! I have had over a hundred facials at surgical spas, but never one that exercised my face. Annie takes the tradition medical facial and adds a massage that has not only improved the circulation, health and appearance of my skin, but I dare say, within 10 minutes, my whole body feels like it is melting into her warmed table. It is like a vacation. I started off seeing her once a month and recently increased to every three weeks. I get the “Ultra Calming” facial. I am a no frills - no invasive treatment type of customer, but Annie does offer the more intensive treatments like Microdermabrasion and Blading. If so much of my budget this year wasn’t allocated to charitable causes and my weekly body massage, I swear I would be there every week. Next year I might! I first saw Annie as a promotion for regular existing customers at Moss Organic Salon and Spa after it was bought out by new owner. I have had several other facials in this area since we moved her in 2014 and had given up due to inferior services compared to Fort Myers and I would have never tried her if not for the promotion. News flash - Annie is actually better than the medical estheticians I used there. I did read about this kind of facial being given in New York, but here in Palm Coast?Just give Annie a try and you will be stumbling out of her room in a happy, refreshed face and relaxed body!

Maddy did exactly what I asked for. Cut and color on curly hair is not easy. I showed her what i wanted in a picture. I am extremely happy with my results. She talked throughout the service to make me feel so comfortable and not just another client. I felt valued. Will be returning soon.

I went in today for a girls day with my Mom. I had previously gotten my hair cut and colored at another salon and it was not what I wanted at all (was going for ash blonde and came out a red head). They fixed the cut and the color came out amazing! No chemical smell that you usually get at a salon since they use all organic products. They really take their time with each client. They do a thorough consult and are very caring, friendly, and talented. The prices are very reasonable and they have a great website. I was offered coffee, tea, and water. My mom just had a cut and had to wait for me to get the color done, so she ended up getting a facial and LOVED it! We both agree that this is the best salon in Palm Coast and will be going back for all of our beauty needs! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

As this was my first time, I was super excited yet nervous, but she exceeded my expectations!! I look and feel so beautiful now! I definitely found somewhere that I can trust and will be a new regular. Modern Organic Hair Salon has such pure products and I really feel safe adding these products & colors in my hair... the smell of these products is simply wonderful!! ANSWER TO A PRAYER!!! PAULA WAS FANTASTIC!!!For years I dyed my own hair using Loreal, then all of a sudden, every time I dyed my hair - I felt like I was being scalped alive! My skin and scalp burned and blistered! I looked and felt HORRIBLE! I feared I was never going to be able to dye my hair again!! Oh the horror to live with mousy brown and gray hair!!I then started researching online and Modern Organic Hair Salon popped up! When I called and spoke with Marina - she was so nice and helpful - she even went out of her way to check all the ingredients in her products and reassured me I would be in good hands. SHE WAS RIGHT! I have very long curly hair, and Paula knew exactly what to do! The color came out beautiful and my hair felt healthy and strong! She was GREAT! I did not have ANY reaction at all! UPDATE: Three years later, I am still a MOSS customer with Heather. I trust her completely with styling my very thick coarse hair, which has its own set of challenges. Her cutting techniques are amazing! Their newer color line is awesome, and I feel very comfortable with their COVID precautions. PREVIOUS: Im trying to go more organic in my life, so I decided to try a less toxic approach to my hair coloring. What a nice surprise to find that the color techniques used in this salon do NOT smell, burn or anything like that. Then I wanted to see how it would hold over the next 4 weeks. Honestly, I was totally impressed with the natural highlights and softness as well as not fading out. Along with a great cut and some unexpected pampering from Marilyn, the total bill was less than I have paid elsewhere. I will be a regular at MOSS!

I did not visit the salon so I cannot rate the salon experience. I had a few of the women come to us for my wedding day. I cannot say bad things about their work. They did a great job (except one of the stylist who required multiple repinnings). However, the bill was a surprise. I was quoted at 50$ per bridesmaid and I got charged over 50$ for every one of my bridesmaid- ONE WAS A 100$. She had thick hair but DOUBLE?! I would not recommend having them do your wedding if you are on a strict budget. The bill could be a budget breaker!

I was new to Palm Coast and was trying to find an Aveda Salon near by and saw MOSS was close and used organic products so decided to try them out. Im glad I did, Amanda set me up with Paula who has a lot of experience and knowledge about the styles and the best products for my hair. She listens to what you want and spends time making sure you are happy when you leave. I would highly recommend MOSS for anyone looking for natural products and friendly service.

Rachel has always done a fantastic job on my hair. The owner must have sold the place and is under new management. I do NOT recommend this place anymore. It was the weekend id the hurricane Dorian and so I had a appointment on that following Thursday...so palm coast was supposed to get Dorian the Tuesday befor my appointment....so I called amd spoke to the manager and was told as of right now call Thursday to see if they will be closed ( totally understandable) she also added or my stylist will call me. Ok.... so I messaged my stylist and asked when we can reschedule.... today the manager answered when I called to get an appointment and was THE MOST RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL UNPROFESSIONAL person you could ever imagine. She was talking down to me, called me a liar and said I never called the Friday befor hurricane and told me to bring her my phone and PROVE it on my phone log... . Lol. As if Im her child!!! Then she was all kinds of drama by repeating LOUDLY everything I was saying and then as if she 13 in middle school showing off to her customers telling me no one told me they will be closed during the hurricane....it WAS in fact HER who Told me they would be closed . But she didnt want to take blame to Rachels canceled appointment. So Rachel thought I was just a no show. Now the whole reason I was making the appointment is because they were supposed to fix a total Disaster of a hair cut that 1 of their stylist gave my grand daughter. I have posted the pictures of the most horrible mess and it was just a simple trim and she messed up her hair so bad. The new owner called me back and told me she will refund my money and to go else where. Im sad to see the wonderful place go down hill because no way would the other owner tolerate the poor customer service and NEVER would have such nasty people working there. I hope Rachel sees what they are doing to her and how they have treated her steady customer.

Received my first service at Moss Organic Salon & Spa today with Kim a new member of the team. I am here visiting from NH, and what a relief to find an Organic Salon with great talent able to match my color for the root touch up I needed. My hair looks fabulous! I visit often and will be a repeat client for sure and invite my fla family and friends to try their Salon, they wont be disappointed!

Wonderful people. My stylist patch test me before coloring my hair and found out I was allergic to soy products. She figured out what the doctors couldnt.

I would leave no star at all if its possible. Absolutely disappointed with my hair highlight with Heather Ripley. I have highlighted my hair in another salon for many years and was always happy with the result, but decided to go natural and I did not see any difference in color before and after highlighting. The color of my hair remained the same, unchanged, even for a single tone. After a long argumentative conversation with Heather and the owner off salon Amanda Noyes over the telephone, Amanda refused to cooperate with me in order to fix my hair and demand that I pay for the service disregarding that I was absolutely dissatisfied with result. Very unprofessional ! Waste of time and money!!!!

I had an appt with Madelin yesterday. I was very impressed. I told her what I wanted (trim, keep the long layers) and she gave me exactly that! I will definitely go back.

I am going back to M.O.S.S. this Saturday for the second time to have my hair cut and styled by Amanda. She does a wonderful job! Really takes her time to get everything just right. I am also having a mani/pedi! The last time I was here I had my hair cut and styled by Amanda and I also had a facial which was fabulous! I love this salon and would highly recommend it.

My favorite hair stylist, Paula, just started there a few weeks ago and I have followed her to the salon. Modern Organics is a tranquil and posh salon with organic products which is an added bonus to having Paula there. The price for services are also great. Try it out!
