Needed watch battery replaced and found so much more. Yes its a shoe repair business and also offers scissor and knife sharpening. Very happy with this business.

So my puppy ate a piece of my shoe. ( real leather). These shoes were expensive. I thought about tossing them. Then decided to see if they could be repaired. Took them to Magic Shoes. He did a phenomenal job. I stand on my feet all day. I’m a hairdresser. Very few shoes can be worn all day and not hurt my feet. These are my favorite by far. Thank you for your expertise. Timely repair. Excellent quality of service. I’m happy to have my shoes back. Now have to hide them on my puppy 🤔. Very fair pricing!

I got in about a half hour before closing on a Saturday afternoon. I had two watches that needed batteries. Sam was just finishing with a lingering customer. He took my watches, went right to work and within a matter of about 10 minutes had both watches working perfectly again. He was friendly, honest and he charged well below the going rate. Which meant a very fair price. And from the way he went about his work, I trusted him. From the look of the goods around the shop, he does quality leather work: Shoes, Leather bags, luggage, zippers, plus clocks with old style mechanical works. Even vacuum cleaners. Sam is old-school. I will bring him whatever I can if it needs repair and I consider him a real gem.

So the man ahead of me had 3 watches that needed batteries and paid for them after the work was done. How the soles got ripped off my shoes which were fine before? Who knows. Why I was asked to pay $32 upfront to have my shoes glued? Who knows. He said hed had bad experiences with folks leaving shoes and not returning for them. Well at that price Im not surprised.

I have had a great experience with this shop. Both my wife and I have brought multiple items to be repaired and restored and have always been blown away with the workmanship. The owner is extremely handy and has been able to repair everything we have brought. I love that he will shoot you straight. If he can’t repair what you have or doesn’t think it’s worth it, he will let you know.

I had a belt that was a gift to me by a dear friend which I always admired. It was an XL and Magic Shoe Repair adjusted the belt (to Small) so I can wear it on my hips and waist. I couldnt believe how lovely it turned out...very professional work, quick and at a reasonable price. Check out his website - he repairs more than belts and shoes. Excellent workmanship.

TERRIBLE! I would not have even given this review one star if it was possible. I had bought a Rummicube game set for my grand daughter in college. It was in a suede and leather carrying case and I could tell it must have been expensive when originally purchased. When I arrived at the store, I walked up to the counter and one other customer was in front of me. The owner was right behind the counter, and worked on watches for about 4 minutes without even acknowledging my presence. This was after another employee walked by and said Hey Boss, you got customers waiting. No matter the guy did not even look up and the other employee said no more to anyone. The lady next to me kept yelling about her personal opinion of marijuana which I dont remember anyone asking for it. or even discussing the subject. Finally the owner got up, waited on the lady, and then came over to me, no greeting, nothing. He looked at my item and said, I cant do anything with this. Its cardboard. I cant help you. Now, at 67 years of age, I think I can tell the difference between cardboard, suede and leather. He just sort of dismissed me and that was that! I went to Smart Choice Shoe Repair and got my item fixed and the employees went above and beyond to assist me and fix my item, which of course is not cardboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to be treated like crap, then go to this store. If not, go to Smart Choice Shoe Repair and read my review on their website.

Terrible!!! The owner of this shop has such a nasty attitude. Hes been the same way for years. I went to him years ago at his previous Palm Coast location. I thought Id give him another try, even though he is miserable and very pricey, thinking that everyone has a bad day. Unfortunately, he had the same bad attitude.This man is just a very sour person with very poor customer service skills.Hes very edgy, impatient and arrogant. Simple questions and inquiries about perspective repairs infuriate him. Its very weird and It makes him seem like a very insecure man.He knows hes the only shoe repair in town so he just doesnt care about creating goodwill and loyalty with customers. He treats customers horribly and charges high prices for even the smallest repairs. He needs a serious attitude adjustment. I will be taking my business elsewhere, to Ormond or St Augustine.

It all starts with the first impression.....I didn’t even go in because of the experience I had on the phone. Better luck to the next caller.

Sam is a great show cobbler, and also fixes clocks and does upholstery, a man of many talents, one stop shop.

Bad attitude . Paid up front for shoes to be stretched . They were not stretched . And if I was the material of the shoes . You would like to believe he would have known when he saw the shoes and took my money upfront, if the shoes could be stretched or not. Being a professional shoe repairman .
