I bought my used “as is” 2017 Honda Civic from Mr. Neil Austin almost a year ago. A few months back my AC died. With no warranty, and not enough money to get a new one, I was faced with a summer in FL with no AC… until I reached out to Neil. So, with no warranty, and no money for repairs, I asked Neil if he had any suggestions. Neil said he would look into options and get back to me. That was late on a Friday. Monday morning Neil called and told me he did some research and found that Honda had posted there were some issues with the compressors on 2016, 2017 and 2018 Civics. Although Honda did not issue a formal recall, they extended the warranties on these car groups an additional 10 years. He said his team could take a look, but a Honda Dealer would ultimately have to look and determine if I did indeed qualify. Fast forward 3 days… my car did qualify, and for the cost of driving to Daytona, I have a new compressor, and a nicely functioning AC!Bottom line: Neil, technically, had zero vested interest with me or the car after the sale. Except that he CHOOSES to with his customers. Spectacular service… after the sale… when not required?!? What a novel concept!!!Way to go Neil Austin and Tom Gibbs Chevrolet!

EXCELLENT SERVICE from Ken! And the entire dealership! They went out of their way to provide a loaner vehicle for us when we took our car in for service. Then when we discovered wed left paperwork for medical lab work in our car, Ken went above & beyond in faxing paperwork to the medical lab for us. This dealership really cares about their clientele. I have NEVER been so positively impressed by a service dept!!!

Had my ‘19 Equinox recently serviced at Tom Gibbs Chevrolet. Super easy to call and make an appointment and was taken care of right away, and got a free car wash too. Really friendly employees, and could tell they were stepping up to keep everything clean and sanitized. Excellent customer service.

Where on earth does it take a hour to have a oil change? Not to mention I still fell some type away over my car being stolen from thier repair shop. I will go to jiffy lube. At least I am in and out with 20min It took so long that I forfeited the car wash and detail.
I went to ask questions and Will Gibbs answered them to my satisfaction and now I have to think what to do next.
I am new to the area and Tom Gibbs is the closer dealer to me as I went there as my truck is still under warranty for issues.My truck (2016 Silverado) check engine light came on and started flashing while also losing traction control at the same time. We where only about 6 miles away from the store so me and my wife drove to the service department, unfortunately it was Sunday and the service department was gone for the day so I left my keys in there drop box as I was told by sales they’ll look at it in the morning when they come in to work.Monday morning comes and I hear nothing and I call at noon, and they said they haven’t been able to see it yet but will by the end of the day to put it on a diagnostic tool (Which was all I was wanting for in case parts had to ordered if I had to start looking into rental options, I just wanted the diagnostic). Still nothing by the end of Monday, so I got a ride to the store at 5pm (service closes at 530) and they still HAVE NOT looked at it, even though being promised. They then said it would be looked at first thing Tuesday. Tuesday morning comes around and I hear nothing at 1030 so I call again, still haven’t looked at it and I was told “I should’ve made an appointment” because they’re to short staffed to do a 10 minutes (maybe) for a diagnostic. Once again I was promised by the end of Tuesday it would be looked at, surprise nothing. Now Wednesday I call at 11am and they still haven’t looked at and I’m just giving up at this point and I now hate this place. I call at 530 and sales picked up and she was super nice and helpful whoever it was, she said “it was done at 1218” and I had never gotten a call. I write pretty clearly and she read the number back perfectly but the service guy fat fingered the number and hit a number next to one of mine and that was that. (Atleast they called someone?) so it’s now Thursday and I guess it was a 10 minute issue that they had to look at. Absolutely terrible service department, I definitely will never go there again and I recommend no one that needs service go to Tom Gibbs, do yourself a favor a drive the extra Drive to Jon Hall in Daytona.
