I began treatment with Smile Direct Club 2 years ago. My initial treatment plan was approximately 6 months. Unfortunately, I have had 4 additional treatment plans, requiring 1.5 years longer then originally quoted.Although everyone I have spoken to is extremely kind, and a pleasure to speak with, the customer service is severely lacking in taking care of existing clients. Each time I have had to wait an additional 4-6 weeks to receive additional aligners, which basically puts the entire treatment plan on hold during that time.As of yesterday, when I went to change my aligners, I once again had to call and explain that my aligner was received damaged. Once again, the people on the phone are kind, apologetic, but they are unable to expedite my new aligners and I am once again waiting for another 4-6 weeks to continue my treatment plan.My recommendation to anyone considering Smile Direct would be to understand and agree that should you need extensions in your treatment plan, please add the time accordingly, as they will not expedite or take care of their existing clients as a priority.To date, am I satisfied with the corrections being made to my teeth? Unfortunately no. The corrections that I was told would be corrected, are not currently to my satisfaction. But in all fairness, I do have 3 more aligner sets before completion. (If not, this will be the 5th extension. )Because of my experience, I would not recommend Smile Direct to my family and friends.

The staff are nice but smile direct club is a total scam! They made MINIMAL change to my teeth in over 8 months of wearing 2 different boxes of aligners and there is no guarantee! The aligners hurt and tear up your mouth and they just wanted me to keep going with another 4 months! I will now have to go to an actual orthodontist and get aligners or braces and start all over. Avoid them at all cost! It does work for some, but not all. If you are one of those that it doesn’t work for you’ve wasted a ton of money for nothing but a pain in the mouth. Find a company that will provide a full refund if unable to straighten your teeth.

I am so satisfied with my experience today. Pearl is such a good staff member so professional and kind. I am so excited to start my journey to my new smile!!.

I HIGHLY recommend Smile Direct to anyone and everyone. At the PBG location, everyone was super friendly and helpful. My “smile guide” was Jeannie and she was so awesome at walking me through the process and making sure I understood everything. My biggest insecurity is my smile and while I was a little bit on edge about someone examining every inch of my mouth, I still felt very comfortable and welcomed. No judgements at all. The staff was sweet, attentive and efficient and seem to know their job well. They explained everything pretty thoroughly and it was a pleasant and quick experience. The biggest complaint I had was that the building has a unique video call box to enter it and the employees weren’t in the main room to let me in so I had to wait for someone to leave in order to enter the building.

Check in process was very easy, digital scan did not take long at all.

The service was good, the scan etc went well. The only reason for leaving a 1 Star is due to my card being charged $250 dollars without my consent; during the consultation I made it very clear to the Smile Direct Representative that I was not moving forward at this time due to wanting to visit an orthodontist for a 2nd opinion, which the appointment had been already scheduled; the representative advised me not to worry as the scans would take about a week to be reviewed and that someone would follow up with me in a couple of weeks to see if I wanted to move forward; I visited them on Thursday 8/20/20, and my card was charged $250 dollars on 8/22/20; when I called Smile Direct Customer Service to inquire why my card was charged they advised me that I Apparently signed up for “Fast Track Program” and that my shipment of aligners were being processed; even though I never authorized or advised I was moving forward; the Rep said I signed a document at the visit agreeing to this; I advised her the only thing I signed was the fact the I was there and that it was my scans that I give permission for them to take during the intake.Now I am going back and forth with Smile Direct and my Bank in order to reverse the charge and cancel whatever plan they say I was supposed to have. As I don’t think Smile Direct will give me a refund.My advice to others visiting, is don’t sign any document as it will probably be a document stating you want service, and remember that they obtain your credit card number prior to you going so although you don’t give your credit card on site during your visit it is already in the system.After this experience I will perhaps not be moving forward with Smile Direct, seems like it was a shady business transaction and feel misled, after being very clear that I was not moving forward at the time.

The club is an affordable option for a straight smile, but for me personally, it was a still a costly endeavor. Jennifer reassured me that the financial component of the process will be very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Terrible service!!! The receptionist at the front desk whos African American was being very inappropriate with my bf who advised her that she was making him uncomfortable. This has happened twice.

The appointment was easy to make and they sent numerous reminders. I was greeted immediately and the process was quick and easy. Jennifer was great and took all the digital pictures. Then I got a great gift basket with a teeth whitener and other fun things. I was comfortable and in and out in about 30 minutes which is exactly what they told me. I can’t wait to get my liners and start.

Finally pulled the trigger and had my consultation at Smile Direct Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL with Stephen as my smile guide. I am sooooo impressed with their business model and high level of service! My appointment was easy to make and I was able to be seen the same day. Appointment was a total of 49 minutes, where I was walked through the process and had a 3D exam of my teeth. Stephen was very professional and knowledgeable. The process was easy and I never felt pressured. I was told that I would receive an estimate within 72 hours and I received my new smile plan within 16 hours —on a Saturday!I am so impressed with this company that I’m going to give them a shot and will probably even buy some stock. Highly recommend that you consider this company if/when contemplating teeth straightening.

This was such a cool experience. My SmileGuide, Jennifer made me feel like I was meeting with a good friend instead of at an Orthodontic appointment. The 3D scan was eye opening; Ive never seen my teeth so clearly. All the staff there made it a real personal/personable time. When the options of payment came up she didn’t shove it down my throat trying to sell me. I explained I had to wait until next week to get paid to buy it and she was very understanding. Just found the reddit r/smiledirectclub account today and I’m on my last tray before the retainer comes in. SDC is a dumpster fire! As a dental tech I expected to smoothly sail through the treatment plan. Nope, no, and not even close. I knew my crowding would yield a Class 1 smile and either the CADCAM tech didn’t care or sold me under the bridge being overworked god only knows. I trusted them and never bothered looking at the last tray from the first box. Big mistake. Waited another month plus for 9 more trays and my upper lateral is slightly behind on one side!! $2000+ and after the last 9 trays I threw in the towel. Retainer arrives in 3 weeks or less from 9/24/20. Garbage company. I’m sure they’re buying reviews posted here...

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON SMILE DIRECT CLUBThe reason their reviews are so high is because they ask you to give them a review before you leave their facility, this way they can falsely inflate their numbers! Dont fall for it!!!The ladies at this location are great, but I have been there 3 times for scans.I followed their program with little to no results after 5 months, every pair of aligners I put on were poorly made, sharp edges every time. Approximately 4 months into the program the new aligners would crack after 2-3 days of wearing them and made them useless.The real problem with this company is their customer service! It is atrocious! When you call to speak to someone you get a representative on the phone that definitely doesnt speak English as their first language, and doesnt understand half of what your saying!After calling in to cancel my membership with them I was finally put in touch with a representative from this country, I was told that I would receive an answer on my refund within 7-10 business days and at the time of this review it has been 18 business days and still no word!I call and leave messages and if Im lucky I will receive a call back within the next day or 2! Do yourself a favor go to a real orthodontist that can monitor care and progression.Mark Hauser

I went for a re-evaluation, i was sitting in the hot car upon arriving early. After doing temperature check my temperature was really high and Lex was very understanding and patient. She allowed me time to cool off and was willing to recheck my temperature, which she did not have to, considering the current circumstances (COVID). Once i was cleared she completed my scan and the experience, along with the customer service was exceptional. Thanks Lex 🙌🏾

Went to the smile direct club yesterday for my 3d scan and I have to say the experience was awesome. The staff was very friendly and their new offices in Palm Beach Gardens are nice and clean.Iyanna was the tech that did my 3d scan and answered all my questions. They said after the mouth scan that a Dentist/orthdontist would contact me to discuss my plan, but I never received a call, just a box of retainers. The first retainer cut into my gums, and I had to use an exacto knife to make it wearable. After the second set of retainers cut my gum severely on first use, I stopped wearing these entirely. They said they would arrange a refund, but never called back, and I am still getting billed. These were a COMPLETE waste of money. Go to a real dentist and orthdontist.

I just left there and I am so happy I went in! Donna and Kassidy were awesome! I was skeptical walking in, but they took their time with me, explaining everything and answering all my questions. The office is very neat and the whole process was very streamlined. I can’t wait to get my trays and start working onmy smile 😀. I will def go by and say hi to the girls when I’m in the area! Unfortunately the Smile club does not respond appropriately to emails.
