My old case was ruined on my laptop and I needed a new one but I needed to have everything transferred over from the old one to the new one. I took it to Ballard and literally it was done the next day.My computer was lovely and the service was amazing and super quick. Also his prices are reasonable but because of his work I gave him extra money because he deserved it!!!If I could give more stars I would definitely do so. I highly recommend you to take your device to Ballard, you will not be disappointed.

After my desktop Mac crashed, Rusty recovered all my data and installed a new solid state hard drive. Now it runs better than when new. This guy is a magician. At least its magic to me. Was told by Apple that when my computer died, so did my data. No need to go into detail, but 24 hours after bringing my computer to Ballard, I had all of my data on an external drive. Yes, the computer died but my data lives. Like I said, magic.

I came here in 2018 . The place seemed nice amd I thought they did a good job with my computer. Then I realized a few things where off when i took it apart last month. One my laptop was missing a fan. 2 the laptop in fact did not have a 500gb ssd put in as they told me they put one in. The hard drive was a 430 gb ssd. Overall if I didn’t know any better I would of given 5 stars but now I realize this place is pretty suspect

I was hoping using a local small business would assure me that my computer would be taken care of properly. However, I am sorely disappointed in the service and quality of repair from Ballard computer. He replaced the glass screen on my laptop and also my charging port. The computer still does not power up and the screen he installed is already chipped and installed without the frame, which he made some lame excuse about China not sending the correct parts. He did not put my computer back together correctly either see attached photos. When I reached out to him to let him know that The computer was not powering on he said maybe it’s the battery but made no effort to correct the situation or do the job right.

What a great husband and wife team! After I did a BIOS update on my computer the darned thing became almost useless. I took it into Rusty on Friday afternoon. He called me Saturday morning and told me I had a corrupted hard drive. He fixed it and had it back to me Saturday afternoon. It now works perfectly. A few weeks ago I was searching for someone to replace the key board on a seven year old laptop. I had already purchased the keypad. I found Marvin on the web and was please to see he was only 3 miles from my home and was open on Saturday afternoon. I arrived at his shop at about 3 PM and fully expected to leave the machine for repair. I was also expecting at least a week to pass before it was even looked at, which has been my experience with other repair facilities. Marvin had the keypad replaced in 5 minutes while I waited. Absolutely fabulous service. He is very knowledgeable, knows more than the big box stores, is very pleasant, and a joy to talk with. DO NOT go anywhere else. You will not be disappointed.

I was in deep trouble a full time options trader recently purchased high end Oman PC from HP store solid state and HD,s out of the gate both corrupt. Couldnt copy files to large HD virtually empty from SSD which quickly became full. In spite near terabyte space got not enough room on D drive. Found Rusty Ballard on internet. He took the computer in on Saturday afternoon and had it back to me Sunday afternoon.His charge was very reasonable and personally he was one of the most impressive persons Ive met in 50 years of business.

It was our first contact. We took two sad laptops to Ballard Computer Service and both returned happy and healthy. My wife Carole and I feel blessed to have been directed to Rusty and Darlene. They are talented pros and genuinely good people. From first contact to completed service the Ballard Computer folks surpassed expectations.

This is the most untrustworthy and most unprofessional place you can take your PC to. This guy Rusty Ballard is the most disrespectful and nasty person Ive dealt with in years. On top of being slow in his work, not knowing what hes doing and being nasty and arrogant to boot. I brought in my PC about 3 months ago and told him specifically that I wanted to get it fixed. He then jumped to conclusions telling me it was unfixable cause the motherboard went bad. I told him that I needed this fixed since I have licenses in there that cant be transferred to other PCs. He insisted I do that against my better judgement which sent me on a 3 month wild goose chase buying parts and PCs only to find out what I suspected which is, I couldnt transfer all those licenses which then led me to square one with 3 months wasted. In those 3 months I kept bringing him all the PCs and other things to make it work which he took his sweet time never feeling remorse or guilt of the time and money I wasted following his advice. But it gets better. After 3 months, he then tells me to get a new MB for my old PC which is what I wanted to do to begin with. So I rush out and pay for 2 used motherboards and pay extra shipping to rush it to him since I had a deadline to finish my work and I was losing money every day. Did he care that he wasted my time with terrible advice? Hell no! I took the motherboard to him on Monday and its Saturday 6 days later and he had done nothing once again. That was the recurring MO for him. He always put whoever is paying him more money in front of somebody who might pay less even if he was at fault or caused damages and loss of money because of his poor advice and knowledge. He never felt bad that he kept me waiting for weeks repairing my PC cause there was always somebody that was more important which equals - he got more money. Then comes his temper and arrogance to think he can never be wrong. So today and about 3 months after this ordeal started I asked him if he could please finish testing that MB I got cause hes had it for 6 days. He then had the nerve to yell and tell me that hes done working on my PC and to come and get my stuff. So after all this wasted time and sending me on a wold goose chase spending money he bails on me. So I drive up 20 minutes to get my stuff with torrential rain and he had left all my PC and all sensitive drives with valuable info and parts in his porch in heavy rain. I couldnt believe and wondered how this guy even stays in business when he treats his clients this way. Then I noticed he didnt place my side panel on my PC and he argues about that too. I told him several times that I brought the entire desktop PC intact. Why the hell would I take off the side panel anyway? And when I kept asking for my side panel and to please look for it he told me to get off his property and started yelling like a crazy deranged person not even bothering to look for it or admit he might have made a mistake. So I left with my PC which he had left in the rain and left without my side panel which he refused to look for. I never ever write reviews and Im beyond a reasonable person since Im dealing with people all day at my job. But this has been a horrific experience that I just had to share with everybody. I really hope nobody finds out the hard way what an unprofessional and angry arrogant person this Rusty guy is. The worse part is I dont really think he knows enough about PC repairs or has enough knowledge to handle something beyond simple tasks. But live and learn I say. There are many other PC repair places with knowledgeable personnel that will treat their clients with respect and courtesy and not hang up on clients or cop an attitude when you question something that isnt right or logical or even plain wrong. If I could give minus 5 stars I would. Thats how bad this experience was. Stay far away from Ballard!!!UPDATE - I took my PC to another local guy and it turns out it was the power supply. I told him to check that the 1st day. This is how incompetent this guy is. Stay away!

Ballard Computer & SEO Solutions just replaced my 6 year old hard drive and added an external. Thay was able to save all my old files as well. I called Ballard computer repair after geek squad said it would cost me $299.99 to install a sshd drive in my laptop and the windows ten operating system. I dropped my laptop off at 7 oclock that night to Rusty and it was ready before 12pm the next day. It only cost 100 bucks. Awesome service awesome people. NO GEEKS OR NERDS JUST PROS!

If I could give 10 stars to Rusty at Ballard Computer Solutions, I would. My iMac is only about 3 years old and it had tons of storage left. But it ran so darn slow. I tried everything. I bought cleaning apps and tried every fix out there. I recently upped my internet speeds to 1G and was only getting 185mbps with an ethernet cable! Grrrr. Yesterday, before I threw it in the trash and bought a new one, I googled for repair help in the area. I found Ballard, read the reviews and made the call. On a Saturday at 3pm....its now Sunday at 3pm. In 24 hours over a weekend Rusty fixed my computer and it is as fast as lightning now! My internet speeds are a whopping 905mbps. It now moves between programs faster than I can think. Dont go anywhere else. This man is AMAZING, professional, courteous, and spot on with his estimated completion times.

But the best part - I called at noon on SUNDAY and an actual human picked up the phone. :) It was Rusty. He said, sure come on over today. I dropped it off at 2pm and the next morning he told me the problem(s) and I gave him the go-ahead. He had it all ready for me on Tuesday with a brand new switch, a brand new 1TB hard drive, everything cleaned up and defragged and all my files neatly organized. Ive been in PB County almost 40 years. FINALLY, Ive found my computer guy.
