I love going to Arete Salon & Spa. It is easy to find in the heart of downtown Palatine. The staff, stylists, nail technician & spa are Amazing! I am always greeted warmly by name & asked if I would like a beverage. The stylists treat their clients with respect. Clients are asked if they enjoyed their last look or if they want a change. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my hair/spa needs!

Worst salon experience I have ever had. I had my hair done by the owner of the salon and she left me with wet hair for an hour to tend to another client. I was so fed up with waiting that I decided to finally leave AT CLOSING TIME with wet hair and no cut. When I tried to question the price of my highlights she REFUSED to talk to me. Never will I return to this terrible salon.
