Way too many missed pickups! You call they tell you it will be picked up the next day and they never come. Then you’re told you might as well just wait until your next pickup. I called today for a missed pickup because I still had garbage not picked up from the previous week. I was told my trash can was too close to my mailbox. It’s has been in the same spot it has been in any other day they actually decide to pickup. Currently looking for new service.

Ordered services on August 1 and have had to call numerous times to have my trash picked up! They drive right by it and just look at it! I wish someone would burn this co.pany to the ground or put them.out of business! I have never left a negative comment on a review but this company is freaking awful!

They are always late for pick up and customer service representatives are rude. After 2wks of no trash pick up today we received a call stating they were delayed and had no date of when they would be able to pick up our trash. Would not recommend to anyone

Called a dozen times prior to the next billing period to cancel my service and customer service never picked up. Billed me for the next billing cycle as a result and refused to admit their error resulting in them charging me for services they did not provide. Was given a case number and told a manager would call to discuss the issue and never heard back.

The worst trash company I’ve ever dealt with. They never pick up on time. They never keep their word when give you a date/time for pick up or call back. They continue to make promises that aren’t kept. Then want to charge for additional pickup when your dumpster is full BECAUSE they didn’t pick it up. Tried to even add additional service at another location, nope, never got that taken care of either. Very poorly managed. Very untrustworthy. Not dependable. Poor business all together.-Mindy

I am new to the area and long story short, we have been trying to get garbages picked up(existing bin from prior owner, who also said she had been having missed pickups) for two weeks. I have called nightly for 6 days straight and been promised a pickup the following day each time. I have never been so frustrated with a business than I am with Republic. I could not recommend them less.An embarrassment of a company.

This is the worst company I have EVER done business with! We live in a rural area and we pay them to pick up our trash every Friday and they continuously miss our trash pickup and refuse to give us a credit to our account because they say we did not notify them soon enough. I guess I need to start calling them every Friday to remind them to pick up our trash!

Weekly trash pick up, weve never had any issues. They are fast and pickup on schedule.

I have been with them for 2 yrs and they took my can for two weeks because my neighbor didnt pay her bill and they miss all the time. Today is the 3rd missed pick up since the week before Christmas. I am done!!!

My dear mother died about a month ago, after using Republic Trash Service for many years. There was about a week left on the already-paid-for month, so I asked that the service be canceled at the end of that week, and was assured that at that time she would have a zero balance. About a week after that, she got a bill for another month, and, upon calling, I was told that it was an end-of-service and can pick up fee--a full extra months charge. The girl I spoke with about it then tried to be helpful and waive that fee for me, but, the greedy SOBs still tried to run that fee through my moms checking account, which had by that time been closed. Now, more than a month later, they are trying to bill me for insufficient funds for a charge that never should have been made. These are some greedy SOBs. Looking at the number of Republic cans sitting out on that block on Wednesday, which is exactly zero, it looks like many agree. I think this is just another fine example of a once-decent company that got too big for its breeches. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE WUHAN VIRUS. Good luck in being out-of-business, Republic.

Worst trash company in the area. Cans will be left half full. Also the cans are nothing but garbage themselves. Do not and I repeat do not use this service when you can find another in your area. This is a trash company. No pun intended. Customer service is horrible.

DONT GO WITH REPUBLIC SERVICES!! This company is not what it used to be. They always picked my trash up every week, but there bill is a ripoff and customer service is very unprofessional. I was lied to on several occasions. There competition offers services for $45/quarterly so I called and negotiated my bill from $58.08 down to $48/quarterly and paid $48 for the current billing period. A month later I got a letter stating I owed $10.08 So I went ahead and payed the bill. I then called customer support and explained to them and the girl assured me it was a mistake that the billing system would change it by next billing period and credit me $10.08. Next billing period came around and I was billed $58.08 and no fix/credit from previous billing period. I called CS again and was told they wouldnt lower my bill because I had 2 cans but that if I only had 1 can they would do $45. I didnt use both cans so I removed 1 can from my service plan.She told me they would pick the 1 can up the next Wednesday. I cam home the next day(Thursday) to find both of my cans gone with no where for me to put my trash. I called and was told they contacted a supervisor and 1 can would be brought back that night or first thing the next morning. Its now Sunday and the only thing I have is trash stacked in the kitchen with no where to put it. The best part of all is they are still billing me $58.08 not the $45 agreed upon for dropping down to 1 can. I got every phone called with them recorded so I know what was said on there end for sure and they are LIARS! Ive been as loyal of a customer as you can never missed a payment and this is how they treat us.

Dont do business with Republic Services! After 2 years, at the same address with the same 95gal can, and many missed pick ups, my cost has DOUBLED!After 2 different calls to customer service, and receiving the run-around, I called today to terminate my service. He offered to go back to the original price, I told him they could have made that offer on the first or 2nd complaint, and that we had already contracted another company, at 1/3 the cost, to take our trash. He then told me I would still be responsible for April, despite not having received services yet, and that they would come pick up the can for $39 🤯. What a terrible business!

They dumped our whole trash can in the dumpster 2x and then we had to call them and still had to wait a week to get another. That is ridiculous we pay our bill! You dumped our trash can in your truck! You should replace immediately so we are not having trash pile up! ABOSLUTELY terrible !

My rates went from $45 a quarter, to $102, from May 2012 to Jan 2019. I would put out my can, on avg, once every 3 weeks. When they told me, starting the first quarter of 2020, my rate was going up to $128 for 3 months. I cancelled. Then, they told me, I would be charged $30 for them to come get their can, out of my yard. They are insane.

Republic has been picking up my trash for over 2 years now and so many times I forget to sit mine at the end of the road. They always come up and pick it up to help me out! I more than appreciate them and I wont ever switch! The best trash pickup around!!

They keep going up. Bill was $64 including gas recovery fees now they bill me for $64 plus $20 gas recovery fees so bill now $84 next month probably be $104. Plus they ran over my mailbox. Claimed must have been somebody else. I saw them do it still say not. There problem.

The sign on the gate and website say its open every Saturday until 12. It would be nice if they updated their hours of operation for the people of paducah. Me and several other people showed up mad as all hell for the same reason. Its irritating to wake up early load a bunch of stuff up take it all the way to the place and the gates locked when you get there knowing damn well theyre supposed to be open.

I’m wondering if these aren’t some fake reviews. I’ve had this trash service for years and never had any problem with them. I tried to call affordable garbage service and could not get anyone. Their phone answering service kept me on hold for a long time and then a recording said good bye and hung up on me. No voicemail just wasted my time on hold and then cut me off. I’ll never call there again. Someone else complained about being able to get ahold of someone in the reviews online and based on what happened to me I believe it. Others have said to me that they are cheaper. Well it reflects in their quality of customer service and I’m betting on their service overall. You get what you pay for. If the price is so low that when you think about their costs:gas, maintence, employee salaries and other overhead it sounds too good to be true you can bet it is and that they are going to suck.

Wish there were 0 stars. I’ve canceled my service due to too many missed trash days. They are still sending me a bill $30 for can pick up and they will not give you a credit for what you’re not using for the weeks you have left on your billing cycle. Their terrible service is the reason I’m having to cancel in the first place! Who wants to spend every week calling the trash company trying to figure out why your trash was missed again and then get charged for finally cancelling. Terrible way to treat customers. If you’re in the Paducah area, go with American trash company! Cheaper and better!

I ordered service three weeks ago with a promise to deliver my cans the following Tuesday. Cane home no cans had to call they promised Friday. Came home it was there . Now three weeks later still havent picked the cans up the first time to empty them. So now Im waiting on there poor service. Called today and she promised Tuesday again. I asked for the field supervisor in my area ( Brookport IL there station is in Paducqh Ky ) and was told basically to go pound sand. I am a brand new customer and been waiting 6 weeks for my first pick up . ANYONE ELSE DONT WASTE YOUR $ 83.00

Terrible service I would call anyone else. I am a former customer of 6/7 years. Driver stopped at my house emptied my personal trash bin in the truck and left the company’s trash can untouched. I called to complain that they didn’t take the trash and I was argued with and told I was wrong that they would never empty a personal trash bin and that they had emptied the company’s can. It’s still sitting there, full two days later.

Service is almost always on time, they pickup extras weather you have the request or not and the customer service is really good, friendly and helpful.

I wouldnt refer an enemy to this company. I started service with them about 7 years ago and my bill was $39 for 3 months. Today my bill is $83 for 3 months. So I called a different company and set up service for $51 for 3 months. I called republic to cancel and they informed me that they only do cancellations at the end of the month so I will get a pro rated bill for the rest of January even tho I wont get their service..I spoke to JJ a supervisor that told me he is the highest representative that I could talk to. I have not signed any contracts since the beginning so I havent agreed to accept their policy. Also our dumpsters get cracked from the truck dropping them and when they brought a replacement it was smaller than the cracked one but im still charged the same? And another one is cracked now because the truck drops them so hard but we didnt even bother asking for a new one again. Please find a different company to use and save yourself some trouble.

Was at the emergency room last night, I knew trash had to be set out in the morning, tried to make it home I set trash out at 8:37 and waited. Storm blew thru I seen my neighbors trash can blow over with nothing in it. I called republic services to schedule a missed pick up. Baaaahaha Worst company I’ve ever delt with in my life ! They want to charge me 137.00 to come back and get it haha. Kinda makes me laugh alittle, I did give it another try just now and explain some of the comments on here and they did get me scheduled for a pickup tomorrow no extra cost so that lady really made my day. If I could do 0 stars I would this is the worst most expensive company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with they changed me 900 dollars for a 20 yard dumpster that I had less than a week and they dont tell you that what you pay when you rent the dumpster over the phone is just a prepayment and they send you another bill when they pick it up and they also charge you 200 hundred and some dollars to pick it up they also put two big dig marks in my driveway and said thats where you told us to put it so that is your problem do yourself a favor and chose anyone else I will never use this company again and I hope this stops someone else from doing so and saves you money

I paid for my entire service up front before they even delivered the rolloff. Just got a bill in the mail where they had charged me an additional service fee for not being able to pickup when they were scheduled because of a trailer in the way. All they had to do was call and tell me the problem and I would have come moved it. Contractor had put trailer there probably an hour before they got there. Certainly not a big deal until they slapped a $250 dry run charge on my account and gave me some line about how it was in the contract. I was courteous enough to pay in full up front before they even delivered the thing and this is the treatment I get. Not to mention I get put on hold for at least 30 minutes each time and finally get connected to someone in Arizona?! I will never be using this service again.

I have had service through this company for about a year. In 12 months I have had to call about 10 times as to why my trash had not been picked up, only for them to tell me their records do not show I have ever previously called about this issue. Then they send someone out the next day. Save your time and money and go with another company if at all possible

Price goes up monthly, If thier truck tears up a trash container they charge you to replace it, Customer Service is horrid and everyone there will tell you something different each time you call. Call any other trash service it will save you money and a huge headache.

On the website, it says open til 5pm. Haha. When we get here, theres a sign that says closed at 4. We wasted an entire trip because they couldnt put the correct hours up.

Our bill has went up $30 over a year. I complained about it going up $20 and now theyve raised it another $10
