Very nice place to live, nice neighborhood, and very friendly staff. Landlord is very nice and will help you with what you need. Would recommend to a friend to stay here!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE, I FEEL SCAMMED! This place took $700+ from me without permission and the manager keeps giving a run around! I did not view the place or so much as sign a lease! I’m trying to not to take this to court but I’ve spoke to several lawyers and a sheriff that is felony theft! I really wish I had the owners phone number because the manager is not professional AT ALL!Ps to the owner: I never signed anything nor got tho view the place! The money was taken off my card!

This was my very first home after high school. For such a big step in my life they were so helpful. Unfortunately 2020 got rough and I lost my pet during the year. The new landlord was such a blessing and helped me so much. They have updated everything and the new management is absolutely amazing to work with. Most importantly they were extremely available and easy to contact with the portal app! The new landlord worked with me in my situation and helped me through the lease and to figure things out that I needed great help with. They are very understanding and just overall under great management. I can’t thank this place enough for getting me a head start of adulthood by being affordable and flexible. Dont rent from these people when I moved in over a year ago someone else was the manager her name was Eva she has since been replaced with someone else, after being given the run around from Eva for days and her saying my moving time had been post posed because she was fixing up my unit that was fine then move in day came and I had to be out of my other place that was being sold she moved me to a grungy nasty unit what was I supposed to do I took it. The hardwood was old and the floors were nasty, but I had no other option, then I informed the current manager and BTW they fired Eva and her maintenance people, I informed the current manager I was moving out and she said ok I asked about my deposit and she said make sure its clean that was that well when I moved out she said I moved out to early and I lost my deposit and I left it filthy I left like 3 small things and did the best I could to clean a unit that wasnt been redone in 10+ years I literally got the oldest unit so now I owe 800$ DO NOT move in here if you can avoid it and if you do make sure you write every thing wrong with the unit when you moved in or it will be blamed on you. And they are redoing most units and cant get anyone moved in there pretty sure I got charged extra to compensate the fact they need money, and got blamed for other peoples damage because that unit has never been redone I dont even smoke the nicotine stains were like that when I moved in was 712c . Rent from Bella Vista so much kinder and they take care of their units.

After being taken over be a new company and a new property manager is running the complex, Fernwood Homes, now Lone Oak Villas, has been so much better! I feel comfortable living in the complex and know that my lease will be followed. We were moved in to a dirty apartment that was not repaired by the previous company and they have taken full responsibility in making sure we are taken care of. The floor are coming up, our kitchen roof is leaking from the toilet upstairs, and its just rough. Lone Oak Villas is trying their best to make things right! They are allowing us to end our previous lease with nothing owed and begin a new one in one of their newly renovated apartments just to keep us in the complex because they said we have been great tenants! Vicky (the property manager), myself, and my husband had some disagreements in the beginning but not only did she make sure to make things right between us, she is being super understanding and helpful through this process. So happy for this company to have taken over!

DO NOT RENT. If I could give it zero stars I would. The complex is a wreck. Not to mention the manager, never there, losing important documents, and flat out disrespectful. I come home from the hospital after DELIVERING MY BABY and she gives me a notice saying if I don’t pay I’ll be evicted Monday (mind you this was a Friday) all because she LOST/HAD NO AUTHORITY TO REVEIW our previous payments. Disappointed and disgusted.

Fernwood has been the worst place to live! They do not keep up with anything and they do not care one single bit about the people who live there! I recommend to NEVER EVER live here! I am pregnant and they made me and my animal live in 50 degree temperature, with no place to go! It is currently 27 degrees outside and 54 degrees in my apartment. My animal has passed away due to their lack of maintenance to the heating and air.

These apartments are s***! The one and only good thing about them is their location. They used to be reasonably priced, but theyve increased the rent to a ridiculous amount for what youre actually paying for. They have a kitchenette with limited cabinet space, limited counter space, a tiny stove/oven that works 70% of the time, some units have a wall that separates the dining area from the living room... Some dont. Moving in is difficult because the stairs are directly in front of the front door. There are layers and layers and layers of paint. The living room has no ceiling light. The bathrooms have no ventilation, so any time you take a shower, it gets so hot and humid upstairs. The bedrooms are okay. The people here are sketchy. I wont allow my son to play outside here. We always leave and go to a park. Keep all doors locked and have an alarm on your car. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You will be wasting your time and money and get stuck in a contract that you will immediately want out of.

DO NOT RENT HERE! The office people are terrible and ignore any issues you have and when you call them out on it they try and pretend you never talked to them. The apartments have a HUGE MOLD PROBLEM and constantly smells like old insulation. The kitchen is hell of small and there is a constant smell of gas radiating from the water heater and stove and maintenance wont do anything about it. My bath tub is constantly dripping and they will not fix it it has been a MONTH and when I go to talk to the office they just keep telling me its on the list. The fans make weird grinding noises and wobble and the walls paint keep chipping off and getting everywhere. DO NOT RENT HERE GO SOME PLACE ELSE THE RENT AINT WORTH THE SMALL SIZE AND I AM MOVING ASAP!!!

The landlord jana we had invaded our privacy, increases rent multiple times on you out of no where, we couldnt even have a Christmas tree???? No candles, and would complain about every little thing. She said the carpets werent clean and they were because we even got a rug doctor to clean the carpets and it looked the same. Little kitchen not even yourself can fit in it. If one blind is bent it needs to be replaced. Little counterspace if you had a microwave you were really screwed on counterspace. The freezer was really tiny and I couldnt even are myself in the mirror. I could hear my neighbors entire conversation through the wall and something were quite disturbing.

Was taken off the lease about 4 months before my roommate left the apartment and was never told I owed them anything till I got sent to collections even though I don’t owe them anything called more than once and they keep sending calls to voice mall they are shady put me in a horrible apartment and would rarely fix anything when asked
