Yesterday I got this little man here in the pics. I have never had a pet that was just my responsibility, So I read as much litature as possible. So I went to petsmart today really hoping to not get my new buddy the wrong materials. I glad I made the choice to go because PHILLIP, KEVIN & KATIE WERE AWESOME. I officially hooked my NEW ROAD DOG UP!!!!. KEVIN set me up at the counter, greeted me and had phillip helping me lickity split. Phillip his about the best sales associate Ive seen in years no pressure to buy, he sold me with facts and knowledge, ROYAL CANIN DOG FOOD, 42 INCH CRATE price was 85$ off retail. Shampoo for my guy so he smell as good as me. Collar, leash, harness, and even a dog personalized. The topper brought me a coupon book I bought for 20$ saved 45$ with the coupons inside. You need help with a pet go see phillip and Kevin at pet smart, they wont let you down. Sterling says thank you.

I personally have taken my dog to Petsmart and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with all the staff, including Pati. Neither my fig (dog) nor me have had any issues. They left my DOG UNGROOMED, in a CAGE for three hours. This was my fourth trip since Covid, struggling to find a groomer. The first trip, the groomer called in, waited for somebody to come from Thousand Oaks. The second trip was fine but too long, three hours. Dog has anxiety.The third grooming appointment Vanessa the manager who oversees the grooming department took my dog and we did an express appointment. GREAT! The dog was done in an hour and a half. Amazing service. I had booked an appointment with her a month ago for Vanessa to do it again, same service. $100 charge!! The same exact service. The dog was left for three hours in a cage, we do the express service because she has high anxiety. I was told to pick the dog up at 330 or 4 PM. I hadn’t heard anything, so now it’s 4:15 PM. When I arrived I told the groomer Pati that I was there to pick up my dog. Mind you, she looked overwhelmed but responded by stating “I have not even groomed her yet!” My dog has anxiety, she’s been locked in a cage for three hours now and no one has even groomed her. Nothing in the system about fig care at least she claims. I literally lost it. She came out and the only thing she said to me was that was their leash. She was rude, inconsiderate, incompetent and uncompassionate about a dog’s condition. DOG PANTING! I will never ever, ever go back to PETSMART. I went to the manager, no compassion, no apology until I walked away. She doesn’t know what’s going on, nothing in the system, they can’t tell you what’s happened to your dog before. All they kept saying was, it’s Vanessa’s day off! One of the most incompetent organizations and not just that they’re all about the money. I was charged $100 last time for an express appointment, all they did was TORTURE my dog. They’re not animal caring.What a mess!! Stay away if you don’t want your dog to get PTSD. PET TRAUMATIC STRESS SYNDROME.

The prices are very good and the staff r very friendly and very helpful, knowledgeable to a big big degree. I even became a Banfield Optimum wellness plan for the new puppy I receive for my birthday. It was disappointing. There were two registers open, as soon we were next, a cashier straight up looked us, didnt say a demn thing & just walked away. Customers at its worst. Petmart in Camarillo way better, friendly, polite and a very clean store.

Great employees! They are always there to help! I was asked multiple times if I needed help and they were never pushy! I go to this petstore even though I live closer to other ones around the county.

Some Products (that I buy) went up double the price. Then came down to $11.99. Then back up to $14**. Used to be $8** then $16-18. All within a 8 & 14 weeks. The other issue is. Never have dog flea combs in stock. I went to the cat section. This is the only pet store near me. Ive tried Petco unfortunately the staff hasnt been knowledgeable with products in the store. Really.

Very frustrated at the fact that I scheduled my dogs grooming appointment over a month ago just to get it canceled and rescheduled for another month. Not the first time I’ve had issues with PetSmart grooming. No longer bringing my dogs here.

I just got a puppy and Petsmart was my 1st choice because its very close to my house. While I was shopping I was never approached by anybody and I even looked around for any employees only saw cashier and another one who was talking to a customer (she was complaining about their service.After my purchase I looked around for pricing and was surprised to see that Petsmart has higher prices in lots of items . They have a good selection.I might give them another try.But I will check prices before my next purchase.

With the whole covid-19 going on, I gotta say, this place honestly has a good clean environment and good disinfecting procedures not only for them, but also for all customers as well. I’m pretty disappointed with this place.I went in because my dog was breathing funny. They told me he had an enlarged heart and his life would be shortened if he didn’t have some $5000 surgery. I went to another vet office to get a second opinion before I spent that kind of money. The other vet told me his heart was bigger then it should be, but that he didn’t need surgery and that it wasn’t something you could fix obviously and just to get him checked once a year to make sure he was ok. I’m glad I got a second opinion before I spent that kind of money. I no longer use this vet. I wouldn’t recommend them unless you have thousands of dollars to just throw out the window.

Fish department is pretty bad, water quality was disgusting, dead fish, plant waste, fish waste in the tanks was pretty bad.I ended up going home with 3 pictus catfish from a 5-7 gallon tank they had about 20-30 inside of. Fish look healthy enough in the bag, when I got home I acclimated them, discarded all the gross store water then scooped them into my tank. Woke up in the morning to 3 pictus catfish covered in ICH which devastated my tank and took out some of my other existing fish. If they kept better care of the tanks this would be a really nice store. Also, their selection of certain aquarium products is pretty slim.

Not to many good things to say. It’s impossible to get an appt for cat grooming. Although they do groom cats to get the grooming department to return a phone call is like winning the lottery.

Easy in and out, theyre actually enforcing mask use, and found the stuff I needed.

My puppy was limping and even though they were booked they fit us right in. They really care about your pets here and the wellness plans are cokpletly worth the money spent for the savings delivered.

This is a nice store and has a good selection of cat products. I didnt really look at any other products so I cant say if the selection is good. There was one adorable cat for adoption. The prices are average. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to get in and out of the shopping center.

We came in to look around and ended up leaving with the cutest Guinea Pig. We planned to just take a look but she was too sweet not to take home. The staff is friendly but very young. They didnt have very many friendly small animals however, due to their lack of proper handling to help maintain the pets being used to humans. They were kind enough to help me bring up a coupon I wasnt able to find in my email as well. Overall its a good place for supplies but be cautious to ensure any pet you buy is still young enough to be tamed or become used to being a loved family member.

Came by just to look around. The workers made sure that we were helped and that they were there to assist. My girlfriend and I saw a 3 month old cat for adoption and asked one of the workers if we could see the cat. The worker let us pet the cat and answered some questions we had about the cats. We also viewed the aquatic life and other animals on display. Very helpful place.

Adopted a 6 year old cat from the Camarillo Animal Shelter that was still sneezing two days after having her. She had just finished the antibiotics she was giving while in the shelter. Long story longer answer.....the vet recommend benadryl. Ive heard of people giving that to help the animal ease into death.

The employees are super helpful, I came in to get crickets for a pet tarantula and fish for the pet turtle the kids at my club have. Not only were the staff friendly and attentive, but also knowledgeable. One staff told me how to handle a tarantula comfortably and gave me tips on how to deal with and older more snippy turtle. (Not that Im considering cuddling too closely to either Rosie the tarantula or Fred the turtle) while at the check stand another was all joke with me. Maybe its a pet store thing, but I really enjoyed the environment at the store, most everyone I spoke to was easy to talk to.

Young lady there today was awesome at answering all my questions. She was very knowledgeable about the reptiles and little furry creatures(guinea pigs, hamsters, rats etc). Will go back there if we decide to purchase.

This place has the best supply of Betas (Fighting Fish). They supplied our tables at our wedding with beautiful and affordable fish.

The store was clean and well maintained. The price for new dog tags was $40.00! Thats just rediculous. The stag was courteous and helpful.

Great place for grooming too!We shop here all the time for pet food and supplies but we also bring our animals in for grooming. Today, it was our old cat Tiny. Its pretty hot this summer and he has a hard time grooming himself, so we got him a Lion Cut and they really did a marvelous job Hes so much happier now. Thanks Noelle!

Staff was friendly and helpful to new dog owners. We adopted a dog yeaterday from the local shelter and the staff at PetSmart gave us an adoption Starter kit. Everyone was willing to share their knowledge.

Went in to check out the snakes. It took us a few minutes to get the attention of an associate but they were pretty busy.. the girl that helped us was very knowledgeable about them. She handled them like a pro and it was obvious she truly cares about what she does. It was overall a great visit.

I placed an order online but when I got there it was not available? The manager that was on duty was so helpful and accommodating that I know Ill be coming back! I would have given them 5 stars but they need to work on the online application

Hey everybody you know I shop at PetSmart every day practically. I went in there just recently and they had a new terrain for bearded dragons. If you want a $3,000 vet bill then I would buy that train or if you want to kill your dragon then I would buy that train. And when I explained that to one of the employees I was told elbow will keep that in mind and they put the thing back on the Shelf. Now I know everybody that works there I know everybody who has worked there and I know people they fired for the wrong reasons. And I think if theyve lost a customer. I will return I will drive all the way across town to go to Petco I think before I go back into PetSmart thats all I have to say about that
