I cannot say enough wonderful things about Reardon Funeral Home in Oxnard. They were simply amazing! When my sister suddenly died in June and I was over 2000 miles away, I had no idea where to turn to have her cremated and have a small service! Herb and the staff at Reardon are simply amazing. Knowing how difficult this was for me and that I was doing everything over the phone, they handled all the details and made this very difficult task much easier. The Chapel was absolutely beautiful and the service was everything my sister would have wanted. They attended to even the smallest detail and Herb went above and beyond what I could have imagined! If you are looking for a funeral home to honor your loved one; look no further than this wonderful family owned funeral home that has been operating for generations!! I cannot thank you enough; Thank you for everything!!!!

Having just buried my mom, I felt the need to give my experience with Reardon funeral home. Herb & Cody walked us through the process with the utmost compassion and professionalism. Explained every detail throughout, and were very caring. I cannot express how much Herb made me feel at ease in a time I could not think straight. I will be returning to make my own arrangements to make it easier for my kids. And because I want Reardon to handle everything. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for all your help.

We were told about this business a year ago and never thought wed be using them so soon. This is an amazing organization that has the perfect balance of compassion and professionalism. They took care of so much allowing us to grieve and prepare for moms special day. They thought of everything and gently guided us through the process. I buried a very close friend of mine a few years back. I had conversation about arrangements with Spencer Tipton who made me feel very comfortable. All cost and and paper work were discussed with no rush at all. My father is now coming close to hisEnd of life ; I will certainly contact Spencer for assistance again when needed. If only I could leave negative stars ..its taken me time to even be able to write this review. Do not, I mean never use this company. They never showed up...what more can I say? Multiple calls were made and I was told they were on their way. Several hours later, I hurriedly had to find another mortuary to come after making arrangements well in advance. Finally when I got ahold of someone, I was told the driver couldnt find the address, had no phone and they didnt know he hadnt come for over 8 hours later! Unbelievable the immediate hours following my mothers death were spent making frantic phone calls. After setting EVERYTHING up well in advance. I was told by owner I would be compensated, as storage and other fees were now incurred by another company . I had to make many phone calls and threaten legal action just to get reimbursed, after owner Cody said he was going to make it right...putting off payment kinda took away any attempted heartless apology...absolutely no excuses.

Was very pleased on how the entire staff was very supportive and also thoughtful thru our time of sorrow.
