My car broke down in Oxnard. The tow truck driver told me about Parra’s and took my car there. I ended up needing my transmission replaced and they got it done by the time they said they would. Fair price as well. The staff was great and the owner was awesome in making sure it got done in time.

My check engine light came on for the first time and I was a little panicked. I called and spoke to Chris yesterday. He was able to schedule me in for 8am this morning. It turned out to be a minor issue, something to do with the air flow. He cleaned my engine and the check engine light disappeared. Obviously this was great news for me. Then I asked him how much it would cost. He said there would be no charge. I thought that was amazing. This is basically unheard of, especially in this type of competitive business. I will be going here moving forward with any car issues I have. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the incredible hospitality!

We have an older GM car (mid 90s) that is running great thanks to Mr. Parra and team. Have been coming here for several years now, always honest, reliable, and able to get things fixed.

Best customer service and high quality job.

Para had our truck for close to a month. We kept calling to get updates and he kept telling us this and that. We end up finding out he was being dishonest with us and picked up the truck 27 days later with absolutely nothing done to it and a lot of our wasted time and energy.

Christopher was extremely helpful, kind hearted, knowledgeable, and honest. Those last two are the best traits to have in a mechanical. Id recommend him to anyone I the Oxnard, Ventura, or Camarillo areas.

Despite the business hours Chriss shop is always open. His number is reachable 24/7.I found him on google on one of my road trip at 9:30pm and he literally was a life saver. While I was doing a long distance drive I noticed everyone was flashing at me. As it turned out both of my back lights had given out on me. I panicked, and of course stopped and googled the nearest auto shop thats opened. And prayed theres even one open in the middle of the weekday at my half way point to my destination.When I found a 24 hour auto shop on google and called him, he told me dont worry about it and just go over as soon as I can.He not only helped me fixed my lights, he walked me through the whole process. Stopped his task that he was doing and helped my car situation for the next hour. Gave me his business card and told me to call whenever.Honestly if I lived closer I would go to him more often and give him all my business. He and his mechanic have the biggest heart and are the biggest jokesters. I give my 110% recommendation to them. And I have never done that in my life of yelp. Please please go to them on behalf of me!

We wish we had him in our home town as our mechanic, what a wonderful man to jump to our rescue. Cant thank him enough.

Not only the best mechanic Ive come across hands down, but also one of the coolest people. We were turned down by 7 or 8 other places and quoted for at least over 350. He helped us without hesitation even tho he was busy and qouted us on the spot for 180. Then, he checked out the rest of the car and filled my brake fluid for free. I feel lucky to have found him and am planning on traveling back here just for him to work on my car. Couldnt recommend him enough.

Car wouldnt start this morning. He sent a tow truck to me on a Saturday morning and fixed my problem the same day. I appreciated him & his team getting my vehicle back to me right away. He also gave me a 3 year warranty. I will go back to him in the future. Good customer services. 5 stars!

Great service, I came very late at night and I was very happy they were open still becauseI had to make a long drive early in the morning.

My VW Golf needed a new radiator. I read good reviews of Parras shop, so I took it in on a Wednesday. Cris told me hed call the next day with a diagnosis. Never heard from him. Late Friday I called and he was too busy to talk. When he did return the call, he said hed have the new radiator installed by noon Saturday. Next he called late Saturday with more excuses and promised the car on Sunday. Sunday night he called to say his mechanic didnt show up. Monday afternoon, I went to his shop and the car would not start. He ran the battery dead and didnt know what was wrong. Wednesday I got the car and he told me the air conditioning condenser would need to be checked soon. When I brought the car in, it was fine, but he screwed that up too and now the AC wont work. He forgot to replace the engine cover, so I had to go back to pick it up and used cheap parts on the work he did do. Hes a complete BS artist and I wouldnt let this idiot try to fix an egg beater. Giving one star, because I cant rate a zero. AVOID THIS SHOP!

Do not go here. I give them negative 5 stars. I took my car in to get diagnosed and they didnt finish the diagnosis after 8 hrs. Then told me they need to keep it 2 more days to complete the diagnosis. Im not a mechanic but that is BS. And worse of allmy car wont start anymore and the electrical system is messed up.

We took our car for a transmission revision. He said that we needed a flush of the transmission fluid. And he gave us a quote of 350! Since we thought that was excessive we searched for other opinions. Indeed the other mechanics said that the car needed the transmission fluid flush but the quotes we got from them was less than half consistently.So probably this guy knows what he is doing but he over charges so much that is just not worth it.

A MILLION THUMBS UP!spun a bearing on my 06 Trailblazer and nowhere to go....luckily I saw a garage by Oxnard Blvd and went in to ask if they do engine repair...Cris said bring it in, Ill take care of the towing (on a Sunday morning).couple days later, my fear just became a reality....engine rebuild! Told Cris that I dont have money for something like that and he assured me that they will work with me on the payment.couple days after, went back and saw my engine taken apart and the crankshaft (cylinder 7/8 rod bearings) was badly damaged and the front differential was almost out of oil...he then said well get this done in two weeks...a week and a half after, went back and saw my engine almost done (put back together) and it looked like it just came out from the factory! Cris (the son), said it will be done in two days...Moment of truth, 5-23-2015, got a call and my truck was almost ready just waiting for the detail crew to clean it up! couple hours after, I was there in the office NERVOUS on the payment. Then their promise of working with me came thru!!! I was in tears to hear them say YES to my proposed payment plan! MY PAYMENT plan, meaning what I can afford to pay.....just unbelievable!To top it all, my Truck is running like a TOP! smooth as silk.....
