Mario’s garage was one of the best experiences I’ve had when it comes to repairs! I had come up for Fourth of July weekend all the way from San Diego, and as soon as I pulled into the hotel my radiator blew. I called Marco at Mario’s and explained my situation. He got me in right away and did the repairs the same day at a very reasonable cost. Marco is a great dude and is very honest, so if you need something done definitely take it to him!

Honestly if I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. I went in and Marco, who is currently buying the business helped me our effectively in a timely manner. Definitely will be coming back here for any other needs for my jeep!

I wish I could give this shop 0 stars they are complete crooks. I took my vehicle to them after an accident I had, they changed all four of my tires, the parts they put in were from a junkyard, they charged me $6500 for repairs and parts that aren’t even on my vehicle. They changed the suspension, everything about them is shady as hell. I took my car back after I received it and told them my car isn’t driving the same way it was when I first had it Carlos told me to wait a few days for it to go back, the electronics were off. I recently had my car push out thick gray smoke while driving on the fwy turns out they didn’t attach the transmission hose correctly. My car could’ve caught fire because of their mistake.

Honest ..... That is the most important trait for any business. I moved here from out of state... dont know anyone and my old truck has broken down a couple of times. I dont know what I would do without these guys!!! Great.

Very professional and honest

I took my car to them to figure out what was up with it, they could not figure it out after two visits. The guy upfront did not want to take the time or energy to figure out what was wrong with my car. He was also unprofessional at times, and basically refused to take my car, when I came back again, because they did not want to deal with it . Did I mention that anouther shop right down the road, figured out what was wrong with my car in just an hour (without even driving my car). However, this place could not figure it out for days, and treated me very rudely when I was nouthing but nice. I would not recommend this place.

******Update 3/15/21******The repairs done on my vehicle didnt last long and almost set my car ablaze. I had to get it towed to another mechanic re-fix the repairs Marios Garage did.****original post*****Repaired my vehicle but some of the electronic functions were not working properly. Took it back for him to fix and he did except my Bluetooth still is not working.

Best car repair experience. Such a caring and knowledgeable shop. They go the extra mile for their customer. The way I was treated before and after service was outstanding. Carlos went over everything that was wrong and anything they could do to help. They also stayed in my budget which is always great. Ive been ripped off before so its nice to finally find a good honest shop. Thank you to the whole staff so much for caring for me and leaving me at ease through the process.

As in all things I’ve become very particular about maintenance of my 1999 Miata. With no local dealership I went looking for a competent and trustworthy auto mechanic.Fortunately I found Mario’s!. With the work being done and the repair cost I have come away extremely happy. Their attention to detail and my personal personal concerns is outstanding.

Had two cars repaired at Mario’s Garage. One engine replacement on a Prius and one Lexus with numerous complex maintenance issues. Carlos was great to work with. Smart, cool and professional. Both jobs were done on time and everything was done well. I highly recommend taking your vehicles here. A real pleasure to work with skilled professionals.

Told my sister in law that they couldnt do a coolant flush on her car due to her having a leak. She said ok, and told them not to do it then. When we came to pick up the car, they had done the coolant flush anyway, which could have damaged the hoses further, and told her she had to pay for it even though she told them not to do it. Very disrespectful and rude the entire time.

Every time I have taken my car, Carlos always makes sure that EVERYTHING is fixed before calling me and even after I pick up my car he follows up with a phone call to make sure my care is running well. I do not know of any other place that does that. I highly recommend taking your automobile there for anything! Thank you Carlos for making sure my car is in perfect condition.

I got there early and had coffee in the lobby. The staff was helpful and nice. I dropped my car off and an hour later I got a call that there was a hole in my muffler. They sent it out and got it fixed in no time- for an awesome price. This place will work with you. I know for sure if I took my car to a dealership, they would charge me double for the same job. This place is awesome.

Had some good success here. The owner is very nice, probably not the cheapest around but they shoot it straight and will do a good job taking care of you. I trust them and that is a major factor for me when Im looking for this type of service. A lot of garages are just looking for a quick buck, but these guys take the time which is nice.

Marios Garage is a great place to take your car for repairs. They can perform a full range of repairs from oil changes to engine changes. They diagnosed my cars problem and explained step by step what was wrong and how they would repair it. They are not a cheap garage but sometime you really do get what you pay for. I am very impressed with their honesty and service. I brought my SUV in as the hoses were leaking coolant. Carlos gave me a fair quote for the work to be done. Most of the price of the quote was for the parts. When I picked up my car, the final quote was $140 LESS than the original invoice! They said after further inspection that some of the connecting parts werent worn out so I didnt need to purchase those. I highly recommend this honest shop. Carlos is the best!

Carlos is a very thorough and honest mechanic. I brought in my 2003 Infiniti with over 250,000 miles; had a check engine light and catalytic converter issue. I thought my car may have been on its last limb and ready to be retired. He spent detailed time getting a diagnosis, ordered the right parts, did the labor, explained what was wrong, and now my car is up to 288,000 and runs great, as if there was no problem to begin with. If I have any future major issues, he will be my go to guy.

Somewhere along the way, Marios Garage has lost its vision and integrity. He had my car since 12-4-18 up until 2-15-19. He cant fix it and refuses to admit that. The car is worse than before. I tried to get a partial refund so that I could take my car someplace else. He huried me off the phone and said he would call my mother. Its my car.

Marios has been my garage since I relocated back to California. I own an Audi, and I was determined to find an experienced, qualified mechanic. The positive reviews I found online convinced me, and I am very pleased with the prompt and professional service I have experienced. I recommend them highly!

Work was not done as promised overcharged for parts they didnt put in. Were junkyard parts that were put in. Welding that was done without my consent.Left my car worse . With more problems . Took parts and changed.them for messed up ones. Charged me 1.400. And left me with a car I dont even want anymore. They are not people you want messing with your car. Took my car three times and they didnt do what they promised. Then left my car outside with key in it. Window down. Couldnt wait for me to go get it . It wasnt even 515 pm. And no one was there. Just a receipt saying I declined work.

Carlos operates this shop with integrity and honest service. I just had my shocks, control arms, thermostat and housing, hoses, and an oil change done. His technician(s) have always fixed any problems I’ve done to them with without tinkering with anything else that causes other “problems”. For years I looked for a mechanic that would provide me with uncompromised service at a reasonable price. This truck belonged to my late Father so maintaining it as best possible is important to me. Time is money so a Gus got to get paid for the service he provides so with that being said I have never felt over charged. Hope this review helps someone looking to find ONE shop to go to. Taking a classic car from Santa Barbara to Oxnard really didnt work out too well for me. After nearly 8k in repairs, there were a few things that werent right that ended up being expensive for me to have re-repaired because I couldnt drive the car all the way back to Oxnard. Also their inspection and work on the motor didnt reveal that I would have to spend another $1,600 on engine repairs within 50 miles of those major repairs. They re-did the breaks and during that same little outing (first one since the car back) one of the rear brakes started rubbing against something causing smoke and a tow to the mechanic for another $200. Santa Barbara mechanic thinks the work was generally good but even now I wouldnt feel confident driving the car for distances over 40 miles or above 65 MPH. A lot of the money went towards a new suspension and the car is squirrely and now squeaks when it is moving. I wasnt going to comment but their after sales computer system keeps insisting it so here it is.

The service is excellent and theyre fast getting the job done. Ive gotten couple of oil changes. Just recently my car broke down Carlos sent a tow truck it was there within 15 minutes couple of hours later car was all fixed.
