Bought Mother’s Day gift which I can’t use called confirmed appointment for my wife she gets there and they cancelled and then said well it’s not my fault. I will never use massage envy again and will be trying to receive a refund. Terrible customer service and I hope this place doesn’t last long

I had such an amazing experience with Donna! She was very sweet and intune with my body. She was very attentive to my personal needs and you could tell she was really good at what she was doing. She took extra time to answer some questions I had and to show me a great stretch! Wonderful lady and wonderful experience! Highly recommend this facility and therapist!

Ive been receiving services here for almost a year, and have an overall great experience so far. The facials from Lisa have really improved my skin, her neck and shoulder massages are fantastic and she is very comfortable and fun to talk with. I had to see a couple of different massage therapists here before I found one that best fit my needs - which I think is fairly common. Shelley specializes in deep-tissue and the work she does is truly amazing. She is also very friendly, is always willing to focus on what you need most, and is always checking in to make sure you (the client) are comfortable.The front desk is usually very helpful. I was especially appreciative of how they took on switching my membership from a different Massage Envy out of state. The only thing I wish they did a little bit better is appointment reminders. They dont call you and Ive probably only gotten two e-mail reminders in the past year. I usually record my appointments in my phone, but sometimes information gets lost and I have to call myself to confirm because they rarely do it. Overall, though, this is a really nice place to receive facials and massages.

My wife and I have been visiting this Massage Envy for a few weeks now and we love it. I have been with Christine while my wife has been with Candace and neither of us have anything negative to say about either of them. They are both amazing. My wife has had some back issues and I have had feet/leg issues which is why we decided to start coming in. After only a few sessions both of our ailments are a million times better. We highly recommend this location ad well as Christine and Candace. We will be back again soon.

I had a wonderful massage today with Doreen. I’ve been to a couple different locations and this was the best massage I received today it was amazing and I felt refreshed afterwards. I will definitely be back! And Chloe at the front desk is very helpful and kind.

ME has been my go to massage place for years, first in NJ, and now here. Well trained and courteous staff. Clean facilities and reasonable price. I go every week with my wife.

Relieved a lot of stress

Just had my first in a long time facial with Nicole and I have to say she was fantastic. Very professional, yet easy to talk to. All the girls in the front were very welcoming and sweet. I had not had high expectations for this place considering it is in a new area of Oxnard, but it really is a great addition to the community. I will be returning.

I honestly don’t know how massage envy is still in business. I decided to give them another try after I left a decade ago. They are still very manipulative with their timing. Their “hour” sessions are 50 massage time with ten minutes consultation that is not needed. I timed my session because I’ve had trouble In the past with being shorted on time. I laid down in the table at 3:28pm. Massage started at 3:30 and she finished at 4:15pm. (My appt was at 3:15 and I arrived at 3:08) When I was done I asked why only 45 mins and the answer was that the clocks on the wall are 6 mins fast. Wait what? That doesn’t even make sense. After discussion with the therapist (who was very sorry at first) and the front staff they said “no you got the whole 50 mins because the clock is fast. We’ve heard that from other clients, too.” The “hour” massage is $70. That is not a deal. That is very expensive and I feel duped right now. I signed up for the mandatory 6 months and I am very upset that I fell into the massage envy trap again. Don’t do it. There are tons of therapists out there that will give the full hour and not argue with you about it.

Found out about this place via group on and made appts ever since! The infrared sauna is the perfect relaxation and detox to start or end a week. Also the juices an and kombucha are the best! Highly recommend!

Had a hiccup on scheduling my gift I had recieved from my office and Marianna went above and beyond to locate the account. This is what taking care of your client means. Not once did she turn my concern away, place me on a long hold, or dismiss the situation. Thank you and for this reason, I chose to set my time at this location even though there is a closer one but the other one just dismissed me after 10min.

Therapists are good but the front office staff are barely adequate

Desent place inside. Really good message therapist. the only thing was that I stood in line for over 5min and I was never asked if I needed assistance or tried to get a co-worker to help me. The front deak person was to bussy to notice me while the employee tried to make a package sale to a female couple. Had to remind employee I was still there and needed assistance.

Had a great massage for the price, and they also have monthly memberships.

There was a slight hiccup when I was there for the first time and brought it to the attention of the staff and was told that the manager would call and attend me because he was not there that day... 2 months later and Im still waiting for the call. Other than that, the place is soothing.

I have been a massage envy member for 11 years. Oxnard is the worst managed location of the four I have visited. Front office staff is not consistent with customer service offered by other locations. They dont have any and should take training from another location, such as Ventura. I was laughed at AND charged for a recent traumatic experience I had on my last visit, regardless of what occurred. Efforts to reach the franchisor were blocked. After 11 years, I will be cancelling my membership.

I had the worst massage ever yesterday at massage envy oxnard. i honestly just wish i stopped it and walked out vs continuing for the 50 min. Vonnie performed a no pressure massage with the palms of her hands. I asked for medium pressure and got absolutely none. She didnt use her finger tips to massage it was literally her palms. when re-booking for another i informed the front desk of my experience. All i was offered was aromatherapy next time which im not interested in. My husband had a good experience which is the only reason ill try again at this location again. when rebooking the front desk said i wanted a high pressure massage which is NOT accurate. i just want what i asked for which is medium. Avoid Vonnie unless you want oil palmed on you with no pressure at all.
