I got an estimate for brake work and it was outrageous. A competing company completed the work for $300 less. The mechanic who prepared the estimate was very rude, and told me to leave, after I simply commented that the estimate seemed to be a little bit high.

Bobs is the best place in town to get any kind of service on your car done. They always take good care of me. The only downfall is having to make an appointment for an oil change. Sometimes its hard to know what Im going to do in 5 minutes let alone 2 days from now. So if you need anything just call and talk to Jeff or Paul and make an appointment and theyll take care of you for sure.

Ive been to a few tire shops in the area, but Bobs Tire will get my business from now on. Ive only had tire related work done, but they have always done good work and been quick about it. Great prices, and I appreciate that fact that the lug nuts are torqued to spec. I always double check the lug nuts when I get the vehicle home, and the other shops Ive used have always way over torqued the lug nuts, under torqued them, or did not torque them evenly.

I am more then satisfied with both quality of service, honesty & quickness of Bobs tire.

Had new brake lines installed in Sept. 2011, the technician made an opinionated, not factual statement on Ford versus General Motors workmanship, they kept my vehicle for 2 - 3 days, never once calling me to update me on the status of the repairs, & when I picked up my vehicle, they had left automotive grease on the steering wheel & elsewhere. The WORSE thing....just over 1 year later my brakes went out again. After having the car diagnosed it was found that the work done at Bobs Tire & Auto Repair was crap & I had to pay twice the amount of the original work. If you have repair work done here, make sure you have a licensed & certified mechanic doing the job & you are provided with his license number. I had to file a complaint with the State of Michigan, although the state fined the shop for unlicensed mechanics performing work, I was never compensated, even after being told by the owner & manager, that they would!!

They fixed my car in a timely manner and came in below the original estimate. Highly recommended.

Went here Friday morning to get a used tire put on because the tire I had had uneven treading due to needing a wheel alignment. A couple hours later the tire they put on was at 11 psi. Saturday morning woke up to a flat tire. Took it into a car shop and was told the rim was cracked. I firmly believe this car shop cracked my rim as it was not cracked before coming here and it so happens it is the same rim they replaced the tire. Called Bobs tire today and was told they will not do anything about it. Needless to say I will not be returning and I would advise you to go somewhere else.

These guys patched up one of my tires for free. I dont know if it was because I had some confusion with appointment location the day before, or just customer generosity but they definitely get my recommendation.

I took my car to be diagnose and was told that they would check it out so I left the car there, about 4 1/2 - 5 hours later I returned and was told that they checked the car and that he heard the fuel pump running, before I took the car to them the battery was dead, I went to get it and tow it to another repair shop when I stuck the key in the ignition the battery was still dead so how could he have heard anything my car was still in the same place, oh I didnt mention that I am black. I believe that this place only caters to whites. Also when I first went there I was told that labor was $70+ dollars, on their bulletin board labor is advertised at $65.

Tried to get a price on a used tire they kept giving me new tire and i called 3 times same new tire i just needed a spare so i went to a service station

These guys are legit. They dont upsell even when they totally could. They could have sold me a brand new set of tires but they just fixed a valve stem for 5 bucks and saved me hundreds of dollars. Ill be going back.

Went in and had 1 used tire put on my car due to low tread. Next day it was flat so took it into Goodyear and was told my wheel was cracked. I had no air issues before taking it here and only drove the car 5 miles and didnt hit any pot holes so thanks for breaking my wheel.
