The lady that does the passports well the one that did mines and my sons in July VERY RUDE AND IGNORANT told me that I wouldn’t make my trip to Dubai due to when I was requesting it. The trip is in September and she told me I waited to late and she was sure we would not get my sons passport in time. Well she was WRONG he got it this month. She should be mindful of her speech and just keep her private opinions to herself
Went in today around 11 a.m. Was attended to by Ms. Brittani ( I hope I didnt misspell her name). She was patient, helpful, knowledgeable, overall professional. I would come back to this location if I get the kind of service Ms. Brittani offered me and those before me. Thank you young lady for a stress-free experience. Keep it up!
USPS keeps saying package is delivered when it’s not. Waited 2 days and still nothing. Came to this location because the Reisterstown one is even worse. Literally drove 15 minutes further to avoid the poor service. Explained the situation and that I contacted the company I ordered from and also PayPal and they said that I had to get a report from usps in order to get a refund for the lost package. I go in and show them the tracking and request a report for evidence so I can get my money back and the rude girl didn’t even look up the tracking but simply stated that it shows it was delivered. I then again explained it was never delivered and that we don’t get packages at 8:00pm and it’s been two days. She said there was nothing she could do. I then tried to file a incident with her that the package was lost and I was denied. It makes zero sense. Without a report or an incident I cannot get my money back and it’s USPS fault. Not PayPal or the company. They should give me a refund for the package going missing or at least provide me with proof that it was delivered which they could not. Ridiculous. I guess these mail workers are keeping packages now
Not answering the phone. We live in tollgate and have a different carrier every single day up to five different people because nobody feels like walking to deliver mail in an older neighborhood where mailboxes are not on the street. Our package was stated as delivered at 10:30 AM and was on another persons porch. The manager never comes to the phone. This place is a joke! Get it together!
This place is terrible. A package of mine was Available for pickup for some reason even though nobody attempted to deliver it in the first place. When I arrived it was understaffed with a huge line. After waiting 40 minutes the person helping me couldnt find anything under my address and asked for the tracking number. I told them my wife had it and walked over to her to retrieve it. In the 10 seconds i was away he already started helping other customers and ignored me until i decided to leave.
I sent my small package in November, today is January 18. My package is still on the way. The customer service is worse than any bad customer service you can imagine. I went to USPS located at 10821 Red Run Blvd, Owings Mills, MD 21117 to sent 1 lb package to Bulgaria. I checked on line the cheapest cost to send my package and it was $25. I came to USPS in the middle of weekday to find a long line to get service. I waited 45 minutes to get to a counter and was told by male postman to fill out Custom Declaration form. After I filled out the form, I stepped to next available counter and there was young female at the counter, very rude, refusing to serve me, telling me that I needed to go and get service where I started. I tried to explain I didn’t get any service yet, just gotten a form to fill. After a min of refusal of her service, I wasn’t going to wait longer when men at another counter will be free. This female worker (I wish I got her name) after making hostile, annoyed face, calculated my shipping cost over $65 vs $25 my expectation. I walked away and went next day to another post office and sent my package with cost $25. I will never come back to this post office and try to avoid any PSPS service as much as possible.
Stay 6ft apart consider wearing a double layer to mask. You will usually be in line for a few. Wash your hands when you leave. Be COVID smart!
This is one of the busiest Post offices in Owings Mills, and also one of the most under staffed. There is almost always a line 10-15 deep (not exaggerating). They need 3-4 on the front desk almost always, or have someone on standby in the back if it does. This is a very simple fix. Come at your own risk if youre not in a rush.
I mailed a package over a month ago and the person never received it. I reached out to customer service and attempted reaching the branch through the website. After several attempts to get information on the package that they failed to deliver, I check the status and they put it in dead mail. Either they find the package or reimburse me the amount of the package. I am livid! I will be contacting the better business bureau
Absolutely dreadful! Went to post a package to UK today and first told they were suspending post to all international countries due to Covid - not true! then when I told her to send the envelope anyway (two wedding photographs) I was told it would be $56!! I asked for 20 international stamps - she only had 10 and wasnt going to look for anymore. I went to Offut Road and told same package was $14.50 to make to UK. Clearly whoever is managing this post office should be sacked.
Almost always a line. Kiosk has frequent issues. The management works to keep the place looking like a dump in an area with $300k homes. Exit door hasnt worked in almost a decade. No trash cans for your labels. Exterior image looks like overgrown weeds. They have usps trucks that stick out into the road at the back entrance
I really for the life of me cant understand why this high volume location does not have more self service terminals. Also the one and only unit at this location is often down, and they closed the passport services completely!
Apparently putting one piece of tape over a box cost $3.99 for parcels.

Very unpleased with their customer service skills. I tried to ask them for help numerous amount of times and when one of them finally acknowledge me she replied back rudely with “we closed”. I then ask does that stop you from answering a simple 2 second question. granted yes it was 12:33pm however all wanted to ask was where do a drop off package go, a question that takes 2 seconds to answer.

This post office is down in the swamps. The post office stated they delivered a package which they hadnt. I when there the following day to speak to a supervisor to verify that they had since i was looking at the tracking history. I even took pictures, of the activity. When i asked to speak with a supervisor, the agent at the desk with a funny haircut chuckled at my request. The supervisor Berlin, came after 20 min and i showed her my tracking information and she said she was blind and couldnt read. She kept interrupting me and was impatient to hear me out. I gave her the number down, after i read it to her loudly, because she kept me repeating it 5 times, then she went back to the room, came out 10 min later with a very small fine print document and said her history shows the package was delivered. I ask her if I could see the verification, she said no its classified information. I asked to confirm who the deliverer was and ask them how or to whom they made the delivery to because it required signatures. She went to the back room and got the other guy Nate to deal with the situation. I showed him the tracking details and he was quick to lie about the delivery, saying it didnthave the right address, yet i was staring at my email confirmation that showed my correct address. I even got evidence that no one received the delivery since it required signatures, he said he would call me back after he investigates. He didnt take my number or name. I made sure i took his, and he gave a non answered number. These guys are covering up for a package that they either stole or deliberately lost or tossed. Every staff in this office is equipped with a bad attitude and they will let u know that they dont want to assist you. If higher ups are reading this, all the staff in this location need to go. Hire people who want to work!, or shutdown this location!!
The absolute slowest of service in this location. This location really needs to know what their customers value drive is and that is TIME! Move faster or hire ppl that care to service people and keep the line moving!!!
Terrible delivery service, dropped off my rent check for October September 29th...its October 7th, the letter still hasnt made to its destination a few miles down the road
Took a month for my package to finally arrive in Owings Mills, then they either delivered it to the wrong address or they stole it. Either way they did nothing to help me, sent me on a wild goose chase as to what address my package may have been left at and tried to get me out of door as soon as possible.

If I could give less then 1 star I most certainly would!! Over the past 1 1/2 years this postal branch has been awful with package pick ups. They often dont pick up the package, but have the nerve to send you an email that says your package has been successful picked up when its still sitting at your door! Ive spoken to the supervisors of this branch several times and they make excuses and assure you that it wont happen again. Clearly lies as they continue to make me have a part time unpaid job calling and following up with them. Most recently I scheduled a pick up and decided I would call an remind them. These folks have the nerve to have a voicemail box that doesnt take messages. If you call the main branch expect to be put on hold for at least 1 hour or more. I need to apply to the post office for a part time job, because I could do absolutely nothing and not be held accountable and get a pay check. My postal carrier also often delivers mail to the wrong box. Sometimes its not even in my neighborhood. I checked with a neighbor whose mail I had to see if she was experiencing the same thing, and she also gets the wrong mail. Kind of scary because outside of junk mail I really dont want my personal info going to someone that may not have good intentions. This branch sucks and they need to get it together!! Maybe they need to clean house and start again with people that give a darn.
This staff at this office went above and beyond to help me. Supervisors Earline and Lara called multiple offices to locate the priority shipping supplies I needed. They also saved me time and money by showing how to use click and ship and arrange for parcel pick-ups. They are the best!!!!!
The condition of the exterior grounds as well as the interior are a direct reflection of the management and the staff. Trash everywhere every day. Only time you dont get rude service is on a Sunday. THEY ARE CLOSED! :-)! I have started going to the Reisterstown branch and what a difference. Clean building, friendly, attentive staff who care about their customers and their job. The Owings Mills branch has poor management, rude staff and they just dont care........a direct reflection of a culture flaw.
I thought this was a bit bazaar. I received a notification that a letter from the MVA that required a signature. So I went online (BTW: sign up for the app and you get an email that tells you what mail is due for delivery) and requested that I pick up the letter in person. So I arrived Saturday with the notice that they left in my mailbox. The teller asked me for an ID. Problem was the letter that was on hold for me contained, my replacement ID.So another person, presumably the supervisor told her to go get the letter and open it and look at the ID to see if it looks like me. She retrieved the letter opened it and then we proceeded to have me sign for the letter. I even showed her from the app on my phone that I had requested that I pick up the letter.I would figure that they give me the letter and open it up and have me show them that the ID was me. I thought you couldnt open other peoples mail.Anyway, judging by the other responses, I should feel fortunate that I got my mail.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, I was sending an international mail, and she helped me a lot patiently!
Good luck if you every have a package delivered via this office. Marked as delivered, never arrived, no assistance. If youre luck theyll leave a pickup ticket instead of walking 10 feet to leave the package at your door. If youre not lucky theyll just leave the package nearby and a responsible neighbor will give it to you a few days later.
Lose things, Lazy, and 0 care by most employees... There are a few decent and competent people there but they are in small numbers unfortunately. The carriers are usually rude and very often lose things or make no attempts to deliver at all.
I ship here when I sell things via online auction. It used to be that UPS was your best option, but the postal service has really stepped up to the plate.Even during peak hours, I’m usually in and out within 30 minutes. There’s an area to the right when you come in where you can package your stuff. The staff are not overly friendly, but they are professional.I’ve never had an issue here.

I was home, yet my package was not delivered. I signed and left the card for re-delivery. I was home that day as well, but still the package was not left at my house. I called the post office and a black woman who said she was a supervisor hung up on me while I was telling her my situation. I called back and she put me on hold. I hung up and called back and again she put me on hold. I sat on hold for an hour and she never picked the phone back up. Ive call both Senators and our Congressman. Lets see if they do anything about making the post office better. If not I wont be voting for them again.
Most helpful post office. During the holidays they had a person in a very accessible area. She helped sell stamps, took boxes & sold other items which really cut down on the time waiting in line. As you know the holidays are so so busy. Thanks Owings Mills post office! Also, our mail carrier is phenomenal!!
I just dont understand this POST OFFICE.This is the second time this has happened to me and currently I am going through it as we speak.A package was suppose to be delivered to me (but needed signature) I wasnt available. I went online to schedule for re-delivery and I got a confirmation. The next day, no re-delivery and Ive been calling them ever since Friday (01.11.19). No one isnt answering the phones and Ive went through this once before. WHATS THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING RE-DELIVERY IF YOU DO NOT RE-DELIVER MY PACKAGE AT THE DATE GIVEN!If you dont like your job, Im sure someone else would be glad to want it.
I wish I could write a review by giving less than 1 star. This post office is hands down the worst I have ever come across. This particular location is worse than anything you could ever possibly imagine. Employees and the supervisor are rude, demeaning, and disrespectful. Zero professionalism, zero manners, and zero ethics. After so many complaints, how is the supervisor still working there?

The Supervisor or Manager was very rude and very unprofessional. How do you react to a customer whose priority mail is missing but to listen and show apathy but instead she was talking so loud and at the end she threw my receipt to me. The day was 10/8/2019, she does not need to be in a public service, where needs of people are welcomed and resolved.
My vehicle title that was sent certified mail has been out on delivery since January 11th but I still have not received it and its been a week??? Also, family sent me certified mail and why did I find it in my mailbox when it needs to be signed for? I was home all day, no one knocked!! Dont scam people! When someone pays extra for certified mail they do it for a reason, so stick to your job before you have lawsuits against you for not doing so! Ive been sitting on hold for 2 hours again, as I did yesterday, when told it was an hour wait time and yet again... Nothing. No answer. Where is my title that has been out for delivery for a week now?? Cuz I know damn well the post office isnt going to pay any tickets if Im pulled over because I cant go get my title transferred and do what I need to without my title that is just up and about in the mail somewhere that should have been here days ago.... If you cant do your damn job then move over so someone else who is capable of doing it the right way can!! For f*** sake!

Dont even live in this area, I live in Phoenix az but this post office has a package of mine and the service is terrible. I got in contact with them a week ago to find out that they have be been holding my package because a $8 shipping fee was due. I was slightly confused and asked them to return the package to sender see get the shipping fee paid. This past Friday I got in contact with the business owner i ordered from and she has not received the package back from the post office. Now I have been trying to contact the post office and they have their phones set to not answer. Ive be trying to contact them since Friday. Its ridiculous that I cant get someone on the phone

Terrible service! Everyone who works there are very rude and dont act like they care about their customers! They act like they own the place and like they dont give a public service. And in the very end we never got the passports renewed and they decided to ban us from ever going to their office again. They were lying by saying they called our name when they didnt! We made a complaint and they called the cops on me and my family with me (wife + 3 kids) Terrible place, save yourself by never going!
Purchased new mailbox lock on May 9, 2016. Post office staff indicated it would be 5 to 7 days to install. I waited 10 days and the lock was not changed. I returned to the post office on a Monday to inquire when the lock would be changed. They indicated it would be changed on Friday. Saturday morning I checked the mailbox. They changed the lock but the keys they gave me for the new lock did not work. I returned to the post office explaining that the keys did not fit the new lock. The post office staff had me fill out another application, gave me another set of keys, and said it would be changed on Wednesday. I waited until Friday and checked the mailbox lock. The key doesnt work. I returned to the post office and explained that the lock havent been changed and that I do not have access to my mailbox. The supervisor, Lara, said she would send someone out the same day that morning to change the mailbox lock. As of today, the locks have not been changed nor do I have accesa to my mailbox and I have no idea when or if Ill ever have access to my mailbox.

Horrible do not come here. This place is so filthy every time you come. I want to shower after I leave here. This will be my last visit here unless I need to check my po box. Lines are always wrapped around the corner inside of the post office. All the self serve kiosks are always broken. Plan to be here for an hour if you need a package shipped or buy stamps.
I asked the older gentleman working the counter to borrow the pen that was sitting there. He just stared at me. So I grabbed the pen anyways after a stare down with no words from him at all..just stared at me. When I was done I went up and returned the pen to him. I put the pen in his hand and again just stared at me. Really nice people working here haha
Signs say limit of 7 customers in lobby, but over 15 people were in there today and nobody did anything. Im concerned about the safety of workers and customers.

Was the first to arrive and sign in for a Passport @9am. Still ended up waiting 30mins to get called to the passport section. No one seem interested in working whatsoever. Very unprofessional. Their hiring process needs improvement. Because the current staff act like they work at McDonalds.
This place lost my package, simply did not care and basically told me to order another one. This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen.
This is the most unprofessional place ever. How hard is it to deliver mail its no way I should be missing important mail I hate this place something needs to be done. I will find out how to get it done.

Horrible is the best I can say about this center. They wont deliver boxes to my home. They said they dont go down driveways but they deliver right next store to my neighbor.
So on the 29th I got a notice that they tried to deliver something but that it required a signature. So I tried to reschedule delivery and they kept saying the number on the slip they placed on my door was invalid. So I did the no number option for redelivery for the 2nd. Well they never attempted redelivery. Not the next day, not the 2nd, and now its the 6th and they still havent tried. I checked to see what was requiring a signatures and it turns out its a very expensive package from Paris. After trying forever to get them on the phone since the 29th, I now have to go to the Post office and hope to God they have the package and havent sent it back. Why have a phone if its always set to not answer? Why give me a notice of delivery attempt but never actually put it in the system? And why not try to redelivery like every post office Ive ever dealt with before? Every time Ive visited this location, the staff has been rude and incredibly slow. They often only have 1 counter worker even during peak times and a line out the door. Awful.
One star is truly overrating this location. The staff is lazy, rude, incompetent and unprofessional. The post master NEVER returns calls or addresses requests or concerns. When you call, expect to lose a minimum 1 hour of your time waiting for someone to answer or being tourtured with the automated menu. Going in person is also a waste of time, as you will not be greeted with cheer but blank stares and impatience. Ive never seen a facility full of staff who work so hard to be of disservice to the residents. After all youre employeed to service the RESIDENTS not the other way around!! The mail delivery is inconsistent and often wrong. If you rate this place with more than one star, you are clearly lying. I will be filing a formal report against this facility and especially the post master.
Shipped/billed a package and a week and 3 days after was when it was delivered. I had to come into the store for my package to actually get delivered and had to pay Amazon for a rental extension.Understaffed, underpaid, so I understand why service is horrible, but people can only make enough excuses for others.
Pleasant Staff! They have recently started processing walk in Passports but they were professional and I moved trough the process quickly!

This is case when I prefer to rate this places as -5 ! I came to solve the issue with deliveries in my mail box . Despite the fact that there was no line to wait, I have been helped on 32 mins. The reason they explained it because I need talk to supervisor who really disappear for a while. After she came she didnt know whats going on and how to help me . They just started to push me from one person to another without solving my problems . Carrier at area 17 doesnt know her stuff ! Its super unprofessional!
It all comes down to the Post Master of this branch. Marlow Huff is incompetent to say the least. If you have a problem and ask to speak with him, he hides in the back. If you email Marlow he never responds. I had a package that was so called delivered and never showed up. After months of no resolution I had to contact the Vice President of Customer relations which he and his assistant expedited my claim immediately. If I hadnt contacted them, I guarantee I would still be in the same situation. If you are having issues with the Owings Mills branch reach out to the corporate level and let them know about this branch. Marlow either needs to be reassigned or let go in order to bring proper management to this location. IF you feel the need, you need to speak with Cliff Rucker (VP of Customer relations) do not speak with Jeff Saltzman who is Marlows superior he is pretty much useless as well.
Drove here to use the self service kiosk, sadly after going through the whole process the card reader is not functional so a complete waste of time.
They lost the package I was supposed to get said it was checked at my mail box wasnt there checked for 5 days after that not there tried to call no one picked up its ridiculous but the postman is nice he gave me a number and everything to call and no one picked up
The service is horrible. I was on hold for 50 GODDAMN MINUTES with a simple question about my package, which, again, has gone missing. Delivery status said it was delivered a week ago. I hope more people complain because the workers there probably steal packages. Typical Baltimore.
Came in today looking for my mail seems to be some issues since i moved- everytime i come here theres a man that works there...white male...seems to hate his job and is not people friendly. Hey i understand me either but unfortunately for the time you are there you have to deal with people. Sorry.I stood in line...he saw me...he walked away not assisting me at all.The lady that assisted me you can tell she came to work to work she was friendly and assisted me with so much professionalism she didnt locate my mail but she gave me all the information needed to continue my questHer coworker beside her was helping someone while i was there also. She was friendly and very helpful i noticed them both using manners which is hard for some adults and they gave eye contact. To some that may mean nothing but it is a chore for me to actually go inside of the post office especially since i am part of the no wait time fast quick generation so- going in there knowing my time may be wasted already had me in a moodMaybe it was meant to be that Mr grouchy pants ignored me not assisting me when i arrived
Worked there and erline & marlow are shi*ty (attitude & being professional ) and Dont respect you as a person.. it’s always an excuse with them both, they Definitely don’t train properly, it’s always the carrier fault when they don’t know something but it’s actually the people running the facility
I arrived at the postal office at open to apply for a passport first one in line for it and they tell me it’s a 30 minute wait. I don’t understand how because I am the first one here for it. I got here at open to miss the line and have less of a wait to still end up waiting for their staff.
Horrible customer service. Twice now my mail carrier left a useless key to my parcel locker at my cluster box. The key doesnt work. I was told yet again that she would come back to bring my package. Never happened. I ended up having to go to the post office again to pick up my package. Whats the point of having a mail carrier if I always have to go MYSELF to the post office to get my packages. The lady that answered the phone at the post office has a horrible attitude too. You have a government job. You need to act like it! Get it together and replace the stupid key that never works or STOP LEAVING MY PACKAGES IN IT!!! Quit being lazy and walk the 10 extra feet and put it on my porch like Ive asked twice already! Jerks.

My package mysteriously comes up missing ... and the supervisor I spoke with on the phone, proceeds to tell me what I should do in the future Regarding my packages as ... perhaps maybe a PO Box or pick them up .....Ma’am !!!! I have been sending parcel to my very special person for couple of times now. they missed it on the V day. I got a message saying undelivered for no reason but all the other time it went on time. And yesterday I got the the same message for the cake that i had sent. and today as well I got the same message for 2 different parcels one was sent here form California and one ordered online. some how they both I went on line and rescheduled for the re delivery as its was my special someones birthday. I wrote a small instruction humbly requesting them to re-delivered if possible leave it on the front porch.And with few hrs I got 2 txt msgs saying both my parcels been delivered and left and front door.How amazing is that....I really appreciate them for being so kind. And making me feel that love and human kindness can do miracle.I was all upset and sad....well you guys made my day.Thank you so very much.LoveReshma
So I called today to inquire about a package and Erleen(however you sell it) was rude. I asked a question and she gave me a general response. So when I inquired further because she was very vague, she said “well that’s not what you asked” and she took a sigh as if my tone wasn’t appropriate then proceeded to be condescending. Wrong hours on website. Mail transferred from Owings to Friendship post office where one can never get their mail due to short hours open.
If i could go to negative i would have given them negative stars....they lost my packages twice..and when u go and inquire them about it . . its gonna be a four five day process.. you have to go there everyday.. wait 1 hour or more for the supervisor to show up..once she does..she always say let me check it again..that takes 45 minutes to one hour...and then she comes back and say may be its with the driver on the road..you should come back tomorow..for my first package i came here for 7 business days still didnot get it..and had to pay 50$ to sender company since tracking status showed its been delivered..while delivery people said they took it back..and then gave up..this time its my 2nd day..wont be coming again tomorow..

Worse place! Very unprofessional and their carriers are putting mails all over the place to wrong mailbox. Those girls in the office are so lazy. They lost my package and didn’t even care. I don’t think their carriers know how to read.

Constant EBay label issues.Forwarding issues to PO Box years ago so just canceled.Hold or forwarding mail never gets done correctly.
Packages scanned as delivered when in fact they were never delivered at all. Are the workers stealing them?
Dont try to apply for a passport here on a Saturday. Arrived within the first 20 minutes of operation and waited 5 hours for service.
They still fail to hold mail while people are away, overloading my dead dads mailbox with junk mail while important letters get lost in thethe shuffle.

I have been standing at this location since 9am. It is almost 930 and this location is NOT OPENED! The full service office hours states they open at 9:00am. This is ridiculous!
Even 1* is too much for this place.Theres employee Rob. You gonna spend 25-30 min in the line. Then this guy will ruin your day!((((Disrespectful service and neglect! (((
I called and was put on hold for at least a hour, I got tired of waiting and hung up.
Long long lines. Never enough staff. 30min wait for specialty stamps. Ridiculous!

Career always has wrong mail in my box. Packages that are marked delivered don’t actually get delivered to my box. Wait time in office is always over 15 min standing in line.
