Very knowledgeable and not high priced

Excellent work. Very professional. The came fixed a beam under the floor and replaced rotted floor joists. Put down all new flooring. Heating and air guys fixed my brand new unit (that Franks heating and plumbing installed incorrectly) ACME will be who I call for any of my future needs.

In the middle of an ice storm, Acme came out to our house to clear a main line clog. He arrived very quickly, fixed the issue in less than 20 minutes and it was very reasonably priced!! I would highly recommend Acme for your plumbing needs!!!!

One star is a stretch from what these guys are. Worthless. Unprofessional, horrible work ethic and below average quality of work. Turned an overpriced job into a living and dirty nightmare. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Save yourself a headache and spend your money more wisely.

I don’t who the guy was that did our kitchen drain, but when he left he left in worst shape then what it was.

Main drain was clogged. They came out same day we called and cleared the drain. Will use again!

Mr. Stratton and Steven helped with plumbing of an antique bathtub. Steven explained in detail how to keep bathtub fixtures in good working order, and gave sound advice for taking care of a 115 year old bathtub. I was very pleased with the quality of service and would recommend Acme again.

I was a 40 yr customer of this once great business. What happened. I have been waiting 2 yrs now just to get a annual furnace inspection. They tell me someone is coming on a certain day, but dont show up, call or leave a message. When we call to check they seem defensive and rude. Tuesday I was cut off twice and told they would be there that afternoon. No service or call. I have given them thousands over the years but enough is enough. People, do your research and consider the warning of a long time customer!

Would not use acme. I use them for my place of work. Required by my corporate manager. Took them coming out 4 different times to fixed a clogged toilet. I definitely wouldnt recommend using them for personal anything.

Installed new furnacePut place where you put furnace filters inaccessible. Also the track where they go is bent and crooked. Will never be able to get one in to be effective. Would call them back but they screwed up so bad that I don’t trust them. Hopefully my husband can do something to make it work better. Would never use them again.

If you are reading this most likely you are looking for a reliable plumbing or heating and air service. You can stop looking. Their service is second to none. Their employees are knowledgeable and courteous. Plus when you call for an appointment they come when they say they will. Reliable should be a word in their business name. We give ACME an A+.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They fixed my leaking drain and an outdoor spigot, however the PLUMBERS they sent could not install a water shut-off valve or fix my water pressure problem. They did the two jobs in less than an hour, but it cost almost $300 and I still have to call another plumber to get all my problems fixed.

They dont do their job at all. They think they can sign a sheet saying they clocked hours and go home and not fix an actual problem.

I used to be a customer and sent everyone I know to ACME. Not anymore, I called to have my air conditioning serviced. Made appointment, I called back to confirm the appointment. I was put on hold so they can fix 50 people’s air conditioner w/o air. I asked if they were canceling my appt. they told me know. They would get to me at some point. Then they call me back later stating that I have an appointment today in an hour. I wasn’t home anymore. Cancel and appointment they expect people to be home when they are ready not the customer. I have worked with Acme for years and have always found their customer service to be top-notch. They really care about their customers, and have had loyal customers for decades. That really says something about the quality of their technicians and customer care. They are now offering rebates and a financing application, on their website -- these features bring a modern spin what Acme can offer to homes and businesses in Owensboro.

I have had the privilege of knowing the whole family at ACME Plumbing and all of their employees for 30+ years and always have gotten the best service I could have ever asked for!!! New water line improperly installed causing over 100 gallons of water in basement. New water line very poorly covered in yard - multiple follow-up calls were needed to even get that. WILL NEVER CALL THESE GUYS AGAIN.
