This place always contacts you about irrelevant jobs and when they do have something pertaining to your degree they state, the position has been filled already. Now I know why they never address their names when they text you. Most businesses state who they are. Dont reach out to people when you just recycle through those already in your system. They lie and say a position is available and once you interview, they turn around and say its been filled, but we have this random position available that we cant fill if interested. What a joke.

Was contacted from Christian in owatonna,gave my significant other and myself a phone interview and then said he was going call the supervisor at the job then call us back with an answer if we can work there or not. He calls back and says she is ok with hiring us then sets up for us to go do the paper work the next day. We go fill oit all the tax forms he took copys of our socials and ids. When we left he said we would be getting a call from our supervisor to set up the drug test. The next day we get a call from a doherty staffing person in stewartville saying we have been denied the job. I went to Doherty Staffing in Faribault. The woman who interviewed me told me she wanted to talk to her boss about a possible opportunity with this (Doherty) firm. I checked back with them on numerous (5) accounts. They NEVER called me back, EVER! I called the office in Owatanna, today, about a month or more later, apparantly this is where the manager works out of for both Owatanna and Faribault. I wanted to find out why they never called me back. A gentlenan told me there was a note from the manager stating I was not placeable for lack of employment over the last 6 months! I am semi-retired after a 20 year career! I am only 53 with lots to offer a decent company. I thought this was a temporary agency that assisted with job placement. When I showed up I was dressed professionally. Maybe I should have shown up in my pajamas like a couple of girls did. Im sure they were assigned some type of position! The gal in Faribault kept interrupting our meeting to help them. As far as I am concerned, I feel decriminated against because of my age. The woman with Faribault told me there was no way she would place me in a factory job and insinuated I was to old. I had to choose at least 1 star to post this but do not believe they deserve that!

Horrible training. The staff lie about eligibility for the hire. I was told I could reapply for work through them after 6 months its been well over 6 months and I call and they tell me Im never eligible for rehire ever again. I dont understand how an agency gets to lie to an individual. Very poor etiquite. Know your policies for the company you work for.

Gets you opportunities but they dont describe the jobs very well that your interested in taking.
