Rickert has never let me down on firewood. Close this year but they are doing a great job at keeping wood in the racks. Prices went up but still reasonable for the quality of the wood.

Got firewood for this winter storm, and it is not seasoned wood. It is not burning well at all. It has water coming out of it, and having to move it around to even get it to burn.

Got an estimate to have a huge tree cut down and stump grounded. The estimate they quoted was TWICE the amount of two other tree services.

Great firewood, the oak is plenty dry to burn clean. Some of the workers even helped me load my trailer full but I don’t think they do that all the time. The lady in the office was really nice too.

Watch out for their drivers on the road, reckless is to be put mildly. Deliberately cause backups and cut off other vehicles. Must be a game to them, they probably dont own the trucks or maybe they would care, but maybe just not that bright. Id go with the second.

Great people, very nice business

Fair and honest. It wasnt the news I wanted to hear, but my 60ft maple had to go. One day of hard work, many limbs later... and the back yard looks awesome. Cleanup was perfect and they leveled everything out to prep for new grass.

Been buying wood here for a couple yrs. Very nice people. Call ahead a day or two if you have a trailer, and they can load it with a dump container one rick at a time!

Jason, Todd and team were fantastic! They came and assessed an elm tree that needed to be removed in my backyard and my tree in the front that needed significant trimming. They were very knowledgeable and provided a great price for their services. The team was efficient and finished everything in less than 2 days. Cleaned up nicely too. Highly recommend and will use them in the future to trim my front tree again!

The lady in the office is nice. So are their puppy dogs. Usually a good selection of wood to choose from and competitive prices. Reason for only four stars is they used to help you load your wood. They dont anymore.

Today is June 6 2020, the job was at 29th and Pittsburgh in Tulsa, rickerts showed up and did a job for my neighbor, my kids were outside watching, there was a nice guy trimming up the logs as they were brought out with a skid steer,, the skid steer operator was Hispanic and was totally unsafe, he drove out really fast during a big limb as the other guy was trimming the tree and almost hit him I actually think he got hit with a small Branch but was not paying attention the operators in charge of his surroundings and he did not do that and then theyre throwing hands up at each other I couldnt hear what they were saying because of the loud noise from the equipment Ive heard nothing but good things about this company but today I saw unprofessionalism thats why Im giving them at 1 star rating even though they didnt do a job for me you never know whos watching also they have no orange cones around there working area and theyre using a crane and not wearing hard hat Im not trying to be a stickler here but Im a big guy when it comes to safety first

I had a 49 foot tree that set about 4 feet from my back deck and had phone and power lines that ran by it on one side in a small fenced in yard. They cam out to give me a bid for trimming some other trees and when they looked at this one we started checking it as there had always been a cavity on one side at the bottom and we determined that it had decayed in the center up to about four feet and there was very little holding it. They came out when scheduled and had all the equipment needed to cut the tree and lift it to the side yard and cleaned up before they left for the day and when the job was finished the yard was cleaner than when they started and they raked and blew the yard. I would highly recommend them to do your job as they all were supper to work with.

We have had nothing but problems with Rickerts. They were late or didnt show up at all. On the day that they were going to come out and give us an estimate, they showed up 6 hours late. They then said that if we would allow them to take the tree out that day, it would be $150 cheaper, because they wouldnt have to spend the extra gas to come all the way back out the next day. We were excited because we want this tree gone!! The man gave my husband an invoice and shook his hand, and said that the crew would be here in a little bit. Finally after the sun was already set, Sharon from the office called and said the crew got stuck at another job and would it be ok if they came the next day!? Its not like we had a choice considering you cant take a tree down in the dark!! My husband asked Sharon if we were getting the same price for the tree since it was not our fault for them not coming that day. She said that she didnt know but the guys would be at our house at 11:15 am. the next day and we would have to ask them. Well surprise surprise, they NEVER showed up, again!! This time there was no phone call, and I tried calling them several times and Sharon never answered the phone nor did she ever call me back!!!Please save yourself the time and headache that we have had with this company!!!! They are high priced and they have the worst customer service ever!!

Todd and his company are one of the legendary Service companies in Tulsa… He is a small business and is very attentive to what he does and how he does things. He has worked on trees for me and for my parents. Bottom line is, you can trust him and what they say they are going to do… They will get done. There are some other companies in town that represent great customer service but Rickert tree services hit the mark every time.

Rickerts crew was professional, efficient and were able to completely transform our trees in short amount of time. We have 5 very large trees on our property, and they were able to completely trim and remove all of the debris in less than a day. I usually expect a trade-off between quality and speed, but Rickert has proven an exception to that rule.I would definitely recommend Rickert and his crew to anyone looking for high-quality work at a reasonable price.

The people from Rickert Tree Service did an excellent job trimming two huge trees away from the roof and out-of-control shrubbery from the siding. They were careful not to damage anything or cut anything back more than we wanted. They hauled everything away, leaving not a stick. They also checked periodically while they were working, to be sure everything was to our satisfaction. The yard looks better than it has in years! These people are fast, friendly, and highly professional. Next time we need work done, I wouldnt even bother to get a bid from anyone else.

Friendly and great prices for firewood!

We had several trees removed, stumps ground down, the yard graded, and sod put down. Everything went well and we are very pleased with the results. Mr. Rickert really knows his business and had several helpful suggestions. All the employees were very nice and were good at their jobs. Large maple tree removed from our backyard, it was in a tight spot and had to be lifted over the house...it was amazing how well the crew worked together to insure all went well and safe. Tree and stump gone and the clean up was superb...I have used Rickert Tree service in the past and will not hesitate to use them again...very satisfied.

Rickerts Tree Service recently worked on our trees (trimmed 2 and took out 3) and did an excellent job! They also leveled our back yard slightly and installed some dirt and grass sod where theyd taken out the tree roots. Excellent job; we recommend them highly!

We had a neighbors maple tree that was hanging way over into our backyard trimmed back.We are very very happy with Rickerts Tree service and they would be the only ones we would call if and when we need anymore tree trimming done.They were very clean and efficient in trimming the tree and we had no clean up to do afterwards. From Todds arrival to provide an estimate to the impressive final cleanup by his friendly crew, my experience with Rickert Landscaping and Tree Service was absolutely top-notch. My backyard tree removal was somewhat tricky due to narrow access and the proximity of the very large maple to my house. Todd and his crew came ready for the challenge and actually hoisted the log-splitter over the brick columns with another one of their machines. In my opinion, they went over and above the call of duty and exceeded my expectations. Pricing, you ask? Of the estimates I received, Rickerts offered more for the money than any of the others - along with with Todds professionalism and arborist certification. They did an excellent job on a very large pine tree and a smaller tree. You cant even tell there were trees in those spots.

Honestly I wouldnt know if theyre any good because I called to schedule an estimate at 11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday and was told they were out running errands and I would have to call back in 1.5 hrs. to schedule an estimate, but it would be at least a week and a 1/2 to get oneOther bidders answered their phones and are coming by promptly.
