Everyone is very nice and helpful. I’ve also noticed great results even after 3 treatments. They do their best to make it as quick and painless as possible.

I just got my third treatment done on my chin. I was expecting 3 treatments before seeing results but I have been so pleasantly surprised to notice my hair growing thinner after the first treatment and significantly slower and even more thin after the second treatment! I read a lot before scheduling and was really nervous about having dark skin and if technology and science really had come far enough for the lasers to not damage or scar my skin. Thank God there’s been no such thing and my skin is so much smoother. Having a goatee as a female is just not cute 😭😭 I have had my confidence restored, thanks Simplicity!!Also, everyone at the OP location is very personable and sweet. My appointments are just a quick five minutes and I still end up laughing and smiling. Can’t recommend enough, I have nothing bad to say!PS: I found them through a Groupon package I purchased.

Simplicity has great customer service. I had a great experience with the staff when getting my laser hair removal and support was also very helpful. Unfortunately, I had to move so I couldn’t continue my laser hair treatments but I hope to find a place as great as Simplicity was in my new state.

I got the six session Brazilian packages for me & my daughter bc the girl on the phone said we wouldnt need 12 visits for the area. Then, as I told them during visit 5, Im not seeing the results I expected, she said oh, it usually takes 18 visits to fully get the area hair free. Wait, what??? Then she tried to sell me on another package for another $1k. I spoke to the woman for my last visit today about maybe a month-to-month. She said We dont do that and, Im going to be completely honest with you, unless you continue with the 18 session package, this whole process will have been for nothing. I only got low level lasers and have just a few patches of hair missing.In short, this company misleads you and doesnt produce results, as promised.

HORRIBLE customer service all the ladies over the phone have a very sarcastic tone and are very childish in the manner of which they speak over you once they disagree. They are also poor at returning calls and always extremely apologetic when asked about the lack of communication yet continuously have the same issues.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND as a matter of fact I suggest if your looking for hair removal LOOK INTO A DIFFERENT COMPANY they are not worth the added stress when already dealing with sensitive topics such as hair removal.

Well I love this place however the hour wait on the phone today and the fact I cant call my location directly and have to call and 800 number. Very disappointing that they dont have an online process for rescheduling or that I cant call directly to the Kansas location is frustrating. The recording is for new clients. Driving me bonkers after an hour on hold 7 callers infront of me when the call began. It said I have 0 callers finally over 10 minutes ago. Still no employee on the phone so I can reschedule due to over sun exposure over the weekend. Its almost worth the 20 dollar no call no show fee to avoid this frustration! Absurd its been the most frustrating call I have had to simplicity in 2 years. The service has been less then satisfactory today.I THINK THE PLACE IS GREAT OTHERWISE.I wont be renewing here if this call doesnt end well. You need a better system and process for people that need to reschedule. Really upset that I have wasted an hour on hold and cant get a simpler way to cancel then this

They are good with the service. Inspite of holiday season they have offered an advance appointment happy with Simplicity.

As a laser hair removal place they are fine. But dont be fooled by the competitive pricing. They have predatory practices hidden in the contract. So if you sing up for an 15 moth treatment, and decide after 12 you dont need it any more there is a $300 dollar cancelation fee. In addition you normally schedule you appt a month out. They over schedule them selves so if you need to cancel that week its very had to get in that same week. Also if you dont move your appt 48 hrs prior they hit you with a 25 $ cancelation fee. Which is what happened to me. I have been a good client for over a year. I tried to get through to there scheduling line two days in a row. Out of the 3 times I called, two separate days, I was on hold for over 20 mins and couldnt get through before I had to attend to other obligations. And when I was able to get through to a customer service person on the day of my appt they were completely un-sympathetic at all and still hit me with the fee. I will not be recommending there service to anyone.

My dermatologist referred me to Simplicity Laser, saying that several patients had great success. I had never heard of Simplicity— I’m so glad I found them! Not only is it AFFORDABLE, it is EFFECTIVE. In the past, if I wanted soft legs on a daily basis, I always had to shave, EVERY day... it was so time consuming, annoying, and painful (who wants razor burn?) After my third or fourth session, is when I first noticed significant results. The moment I realized I hadn’t shaved my legs in a month, I nearly cried. No joke.On a side note— the team at Simplicity Laser is awesome. All of the employees are truly amazing, from the technicians to the front desk.This is the BEST place to go for hair removal... without a doubt!!

I’ve been going to this location for almost a year and have no complaints. Have even referred family! They’re always punctual and get me in and out in a short amount of time. All of the staff is friendly, but Patricia is so relaxing before and during treatment (knowing it’s not the most comfortable experience) and very thorough. I’ve achieved amazing results and I am so thankful this place exists for such an amazing price. Has boosted my confidence in my body tons!

IT IS WORTH YOUR MONEY AND TIME!! I love the results I have gained here and the staff is always super nice. It is better than waxing and you see results instantly. To never have to shave again is life changing!

Wouldn’t recommend.1. The laser process is one of which I believe to be outdated, takes the longest and not sure if it’ll have results by the end of it. I can sense this is most likely due to keep you in a payment cycle forever e.g they offer monthly memberships2. There was no follow up by the front desk after finishing my first session to schedule my next appointment. In addition, the education component wasn’t really there. I didn’t feel confident that they ‘truly’ could take care of darker skin types. Examples, client testimonials, before and after from clients like most offices should be available to browse while waiting in the waiting area and or walk through during the first in person consultation3. The laser they use is done 1 slow burst at a time. Laser treatments that I’m used to do a rapid firing over the area in multiple burst. Because of the area being treated I inquired about numbing cream to use prior to my appointment and they didn’t have ANY available - like what are we doing? - c’mon.. numbing cream. is essential but after speaking with the manager per this review, it’s because it interferes with “scheduling” and clients would need to use it ahead of times and it can mess up the appointments. Ok4. Random but I wasn’t allowed to film on my iPhone - which is fine - but in this day in age of social media and marketing is wild to me but I get it. “Policy” But again this is probably due to the fear they have of not delivering the results they’re promising and they know this which is why they don’t want to risk being exposed and instead seek value in google reviews. Aka social media 😪Keep looking my friends

Impossible to reach to cancel appointment in morning hours. I tried calling the general number, emailing and calling their number on the appointment email to cancel and was taken to an advertising number then was given the run-around and was given another number to call which connected to a automated service. This is ridiculous.As of this morning, I have flu like symptoms running a fever and did not want to put anyone at risk. I called again in the afternoon to ask why no one answered to any communication; I was ignored and informed that I would still penalized. All the positive experiences I had over the years was ruined with this lack of professionalism.

I called for a consultation appointment, they said “walk in and we’ll take care of you”, I went in there, the reception girl or whatever she was, behaved like she was kicking me out! She was like “no we can’t take you in for a question and answer” I said I would come for another consultation appointment, she was like “we dont have a space“!!! And then she said leave your number and we will call you if we have time!! I left my number and email, no one called! So this place is a “no no” for me! For their terrible customer service...

As someone who is transitioning, Simplicity has been a miracle for me. Getting rid of my body and facial hair has boosted my self-esteem and the ladies who work here are amazing. They are so sweet, understanding and have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable while I am here. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would because they deserve it for the work that they do!

Simplicity Laser in Overland Park, Kansas is awesome! From the front desk receptionists to the technicians..... they are amazing! Patricia is particularly outstanding! She listens and advises so effortlessly! She is a joy and always makes me feel so welcome!

I am on my fifth treatment with this facility and each experience has been great because of Katie Davis. I dont exactly look forward to my appointments (dont get me wrong I am thrilled from the results) but Katie makes my appointments go by much faster and we have great conversation. She always makes me feel comfortable and I highly recommend asking for her!

Came in with a friend during their appointment because I have always been interested in doing laser but have been too nervous. The girls were so professional and patient with me answering all of my questions and really making me feel at ease explaining how it all worked. The hard part now is deciding where to start on myself!

One of the worst places Ive ever went to. Big lair. My wife made an appointment for lazier. And she scheduled it the day she wanted, in the next day we got call that it for a reminder, but it was a different day. It was for no reason, I tried to call back and waited 30 minutes in the phone and no one has helped me, after 30 minutes and the call ended, and no one helped me with anything. I also have a text message that shows my original appointment, but they said it was different date. My wife tried to call again to solve and long time on the phone talking and arguing, the lady told that she doesnt see anything about her original appointment and it was different date, and never let her change it. She tried to close her account and they tried to scam her since she signed, if she wants to close it she need to pay 200 dollar to close it. Not even worth one star......The worth customer service. Never worth the money..... Scammers

Don’t get loader hair removal with this company, they have cancelled on me multiple time without having an immediate opening available. They just push your appointment back another month, so you have to pay more without receiving the treatment. They just called me again to cancel today, claiming their lasers went down. Lie, they have multiple rooms with multiple lasers. They would have had to loose power. I have been completely ripped off by Simplicity Laser.

I had some great ladies treat me and not so great. I did treatments for over 2 years. Paid close to 2k and I still have hair and not just a little bit of hair. It was not worth it at all.I am so disappointed.Very high turn over rate of employees.

I took my daughter for her 1st appointment and all of the staff was so pleasant and professional! Very clean also!

I have been their customer started February and it ended on October. The reason behind me to leave is because I moved out of state. This place is very expensive. I was charged for a whole month where I did not get service as I moved to different state. I told them via phone that I am moving to a different state but one of the staff member told me I will not be charged for the month that I did not get the service. But when I contacted them the support team said they need a written statement that I am moving out of state. I did provide them proof of address change still they denied to pay back my money for the whole month.

The ladies who work here are lovely. Its my first time getting laser and I have always wanted/needed it. Its a simple, practically painless procedure that feels like it takes less than 5 minutes. Im so happy when I leave because Im so excited to see the results. My laser hair removal is a blessing!!! :)

The results caused me breakouts. They said I was going to have a phone consultation about it and then charged me a “no show” fee when I didn’t show up to consult. Clearly they need to honor if a person has an issue with the removal, that they should be let out of the contract

I have been going here for a little over 6 months and LOVE IT! The office is clean (which I have gone to a few different laser places in Overland Park and I can’t say the same). I probably went a little over board on my questioning of how the laser worked and why they did the treatment a certain way. I think the girl I saw was named Shelly and never once did she act annoyed with my questioning and I could tell she actually knew what she was talking about verses others who always tip toed around my questions. I was shocked to see the bad reviews! And a big THANK YOU to the staff for never making me feel like I was just another face walking in the door.

Showed up late to my appointment (my fault, I got stuck in a meeting longer than I should have at work) and the staff worked me in anyways. I needed my appointment and with the holidays coming my schedule is all over the place and the staff was so nice and understanding...they didnt have to be...I am so grateful for them!

Purchased services for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift and she was so excited when I gave it to her. She cant wait to start!

I purchased a membership and hadnt even had my first appointment yet and I was about to schedule it but I just so happen to talk to a friend of mind before hand who was also a client at this clinic. She had said that every time she goes to the clinic she is almost always called back 10-20 minutes after her appointment is supposed to start and that she can always hear the employees just laughing away in the back and when she had mentioned it to the receptionist one day the receptionist had to keep going back and forth relaying messages to me from the manager instead of the manager just getting up and talking to her herself. I was already on the fence about having anything done and I cannot deal with customer service like this so I cancelled my membership before even going but beware theres a $199 fee to cancel, luckily I didnt have to pay it because I had never signed any paperwork anyway. Id look into other places before purchasing anything with this place. Seems like they are very much lacking in customer service skills.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. So far Ive spent $2,175 and Im the exact same as when I started. Ive had a membership since October 2016, and this is the WORST facility I have ever dealt with. They make it extremely difficult to get out of your membership and beware - they charge $199 to cancel. I tried to stick it out to optimize my results, after TWO AND A HALF YEARS but nothing has changed. I have set up 2 appointments to have a review with a manager to see what could be changed to get better results, both times the manager was not there and no one at the facility was able to conduct the review. To schedule or change appointments you have to call an 800 number and wait on hold for 20 minutes and then book 3+ weeks out. There is several friendly staff members but the turnover is so high its a new face every time. Each technician does it so differently I have no idea if anyones doing the right techniques. Terrible experience, STAY AWAY!!

I’m a hairy individual so I was very nervous and my expectations weren’t very high so I started out with a small area in July. I saw amazing results just after two treatments so in November I decided to do the full body package. I wish I would have started the full body back in July but I have zero regrets, the staff is amazing and so are the prices. The pain is tolerable I don’t feel the need to use the numbing gel.Side note, I’m African American with dark hair and the lasers they use works for my skin tone.Update: For some reason they have a huge turnover rate with the staff and it’s very unprofessional. My last visit I end up calling management because the new girl was so incredibly rude. She literally left out the room and left me naked on the table for 20 min until someone else came in to treat me. If I wasn’t almost wasn’t done with my treatments I would have cancelled my membership. Another thing they tend to adjust the laser settings which will cause interference with your results so stay on that. I’ve recommended 3 people and unfortunately we’re all having the same issue.

Do not waste your money here. No result is guaranteed after treatment. They usually start treatmenting you with low power lazer treatment. So you have to keep returning for more treatment. Bad customer service too.

Just came to my scheduled appointment and nobody was there. I called and they said that they quit taking appointments early and that they called me. I got off the phone and looked through my call lists and voicemails and never received a call or voicemail. I called back and they said they were going tell me when they called me, yet couldn’t find the date they called me........... probably because they didn’t call. It’s a little irritating that I drove out of the way for absolutely nothing. I will not be referring any friends here because of the terrible communication.

Warning!!! If there is going to be a snowstorm and you try to do the polite thing and reschedule the day before you will get charged $20. Your best option is to either not bother calling or if you want you can try calling right before your appointment and see if you’ll get lucky enough to not be charged. It’s currently 6 inches and counting and because I called when the storm started I was charged. This charge will be on top of my brand new shiny 18 month charge for three areas. I’ve never had a problem with this place before but that is just ridiculous. I’m not going to risk my life driving 30 miles in 6+ inches of snow and ice and due to that I will be charged. Clearly you guys really care about your loyal customers.I feel bad that I’ve actually referred people here.

Made me wait 25 minutes for a 5 minute appointment, even took a client that came in way past her appointment time and she was finished and walking out while I was still waiting. Nobody cared, not even the corporate office personnel. The local office told me I had to talk to corporate, yet corporate said I had to talk to the location. Nobody wanted to address the issue. Never let them book you in the OVERFLOW room, that really means they dont care about you as a client. They could care less that I didnt want to continue services there, they were happy to accommodate me then. Plus they didnt care that I was going thi give them negative reviews.

Friendly and pleasant staff, they often run great specials, but its very hard to re-schedule. Ive had change of schedule at work, and I wasnt able to re-schedule my appointment for 5 weeks. Also they sell a de-sensitizing gel for an exorbitant price of $25 for a one ounce bottle. It didnt work well on me, and I wanted to buy some of my own at a pharmacy. I was told by a pharmacist that I should ask them for a prescription de-sensitizing gel, but unfortunately they dont offer that kind of service. In my opinion, the laser treatment service should provide pain-relieving gel free of charge. I do appreciate the fact that they offer great discounts and if they dont want to provide that courtesy free of charge, they could at least provide a prescription.

I was very nervous since this was my first time doing laser hair removal. I did research and was prepared for a painful experience. At Simplicity, I barely felt a thing! Seriously, virtually no pain whatsoever! Very pleased and excited for my continued treatments. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

I had a while 1 year membership with them. All I can say is that this is by far the worst place for laser treatment you can go to. Most of the people who work there are very unprofessional and they always miss a lot of parts in my upper body. After a year and here we go my hair is growing back where i did treatment on.Side note: I have done laser treatment before at different countries and I can tell how unprofessional this place is.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Wife talked me into getting treated on my neck, and I was unsure. After two treatments, I saw results. No ingrowns, no plucking. Jennifer explains everything clearly, and she and the staff are always very courteous. Highly recommend (even for guys).

I was always nervous to do laser hair removal, but Jen at Simplicity Laser helped answer all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable. I am in and out quickly every appointment, and the laser is not painful like I thought it would be.

Great place, but staff is soooooo unprofessional. Different staff members every time I come in, nobody ever seems to know what’s going on. On top of that, I’ve been burned by their laser because they turn it up too high.Loud music plays in the lobby, and if you’re 1 mins late for your appt... they take the next person. Yet, they will make you wait 5-15 mins every time you come in. So unprofessional!
