Do NOT waste your time here. Salesman conned me into giving their Internet a shot after I told them no I didn’t want it repeatedly. Said I could try it and easily return it if I didn’t want it.Biggest lie, it took me an hour on the phone to tell them to cancel my service & when I tried to drop off the router at this store they told me I had to wait an hour just to drop the equipment off & they have the audacity to be charging me when the salesman told me I could return it for no charge.I tried to contact the salesman but of course he can’t be bothered to reply now that I’m having issues with them

Frustrated with getting good tech support? Call Spectrum and ask them to send out Field Technician Chester. He is not only tech-savvy, but he was very polite and helpful answering my TV and phone questions. He solved every tech issue plaguing our new non-functioning TV set and non-functioning land-line phone that wed been struggling with for five weeks!!

Spectrum’s internet service is very unstable, I recommend AT&T fiber or Google Fiber. I regret having Spectrum and I will avoid them as much as possible. They dont care about customer experience and be aware of their promotion price. When you cancel Spectrum, make sure you cancel at the end of the billing period, because Spectrum will continue charge you the remaining time even though you did not use their service, they claim they are “ monthly subscription” company, and they do not pro rate. 👎👎👎👎👎

Hard to find parking because it is so busy. You are able to park down the hill in the box store. Only one handicap parking spot. And expect a long line when inside. Otherwise, the help is nice and friendly.

First of all they are closed on Thursdays. That’s a week day??? I can see if it was closed on a MondaySecond They show you can make an appointment.Well when you try that they state no appointments available. I tried just for fun and went into the next month. No appointments availableSpectrum needs to get there act together.Many people showed up when I was there and one guy walked 13 miles to get there and find the store closed. I took him home.Customers need to be taken care of.The pricing Spectrum is changing for services is outrageous for what they provide.I was a customer way before Time Warner and I finally said enough.

Spectrum is a wonderful internet service. Easy to set up and works amazing! We went in today and canceled our service because we are moving. Michael was a huge help and super friendly! awesome service! If i could give more stars i would.

This is a review of Spectrum as a service not this store. If I can rate Spectrum a 0 star then it is a 0 star. It is the worst internet service provider I ever had in the past 10 years comparing with AT&T and Comcast. People complain about Comcast but Spectrum is way worse. The actual internet speed you get varies dramatically to what you paid for, the price kept going up over the past couple of years, and the company showed no interest in retaining customers. I am so happy that I switched to other provider and can return the equipment to this store. If you have a choice, dont choose Spectrum, it is awful.

You currently can not book an appointment here even though there is an option to do so on their website. All the slots are always showing not available. You will have to walk in even to just exchange equipment and it will be a brutal wait time.

Long wait times even when scheduling ahead. Spent MONTHS trying to upgrade early and went to several stores throughout KC and the stores (including this one) would argue it is an issue that requires calling 611 and 611 would say go back to the store we cant resolve early upgrade issues. This went on and on. I finally had enough after 3 months of the issue and ported out to AT&T. It was the best thing I ever did.Folks, the mobile solution is cheaper but it sure seems to be you get what you pay for applies here. Especially for the folks that like to upgrade yearly... Avoid.

This place was a joke. I came in to return a modem and added my name to the que. I was number 23. 15 minutes later, I was number 20. A CUSTOMER approached me who had already been there for a half hour and told me that, instead of returning THIER equipment to THIER store, they were redirecting people to the UPS store three stores down to MAIL it to them.Ridiculous.

Was a long wait, when called to say was coming no one said should have made a reservation. Only 2 people working service. The employees were polite and kind. Not advance notice they had moved, place has little parking and just too small.

I should have listened to the Spectrum technician who came to our home and said Spectrum sales representatives often lie to customers to increase their commissions. I called Spectrum to compare Spectrum streaming costs to TV costs. The sales representative quoted an Internet and combined TV cost that was $111. She added we could have free Apple TV service for one year.Boxes of Spectrum equipment arrived the next day including equipment for services I DID NOT request including a landline phone device and Apple TV device - for $156/month (before taxes) and $180 for the Apple TV device. I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to cancel the TV service - and Im stuck with a $180 Apple device I did not want. Spectrum representatives suggested I sell it on Facebook Marketplace. I am checking out other Internet services so I can break with Spectrum and their dishonest practices permanently

Spectrum is the mainstream or most recognized cable and internet provider in Kansas City. I learned a hard lesson I would like to pass on to others; that of the billing cycle. Well, after 10 yrs in KC living in an apartment, we found a nice house a few hrs away and decided to move. My apartment lease was to expire 8/31. I called on 7/20 to advise I would be moving and attempted to arrange a shut off date in which I was advised they dont do shut off dates, just bring in the equipmemt when I move. I had my apartment final walkthru on Sept 1. And after that I took the box and dropped it off before heading to our new place a few hrs away. Well, while they didnt mention it at dropff, since I didnt turn in the equipment before august 26th, I ended up getting billed for another month and THEY DO NOT PRORATE! So 5 days turned into a whole month for billing so BE AWARE! What upset me the most was I called on July 20 to talk about it and nowhere did they tell me to turn it in before such and such date so therefore I feel I kinda got scammed since I did call to ask more than a month ahead of time, while their response was semi-non-chalant like ok just turn it in when youre done! But theres more to it than that! I called to talk to them about it and they kept telling me that my bill has my billing cycle and I should have known that way. Meh. After talking to a second person, they were able to give me a small reduction which is better than nothing.

Went to Spectrum store in Overland Park Kansas today. They had mailed me new sims cards to transfer our service from another carrier and I was afraid I would lose my contacts if I did it. The rep was very professional and did this service in a timely manner. Kudos to them

Spectrum is pretty shady. I just quit and there is no refund of the unused month. More RReasons I left are below.Too expensive. Cost rose from $30/mo five years ago with TimeWarner to $75/mo now with Spectrum. This frog is jumping before the water boils. No increase in speed or change in service.VOIP service (not Spectrum) had one way audio on their network but works fine on other networks. Trying to push people to their VOIP?Never credits for out of service days. Was out of service for two days in March, should have been $2.42 per day, but nothing. There have been others.Called too often to upsell. Shouldnt them being told I only watch TV over the antenna 20 times be enough to stop?Karma will catch them soon. New competition is coming from Verizon, T-Mobile and Starlink. I wish them little luck.

After many years of internet going out multiple times per day and not having wifi throughout our relatively small house I pulled the plug on Spectrum. I was tired of them saying there was nothing wrong. I added google fiber, as it is new to my area, and not only is it less expensive it has not dropped connection once and our entire house connects and streams great. To top it off when i returned all the equipment to Spectrum i was 2 days past the start of my bill cycle and was informed they no longer pro rate service and i had to pay for the entire month. Very glad to be done with this joke of a company!!!

Internet disconnection happener 5 - 6 times per day, so I changed to Google Fiber, and it is working perfect. When I returned Spectrum modem, a internet service plan still remained 3 weeks. No refund for the remaining period. Be careful and count well when you have a plan to cancel a service. I dont recommend Spectrum internet service.

Turned in old equipment. Spectrum could not provide consistent signals and the equipment was poor quality ( a Spectrum tech told me how they recycle and repair cheap equipment to keep costs dow). This also enabled us to clean up some unsightly wires and save over 30% on our monthly cable bill.

The main issue I have with Spectrum, is the equipment. Old equipment is returned, gets refurbished, and goes back in the supply chain. The problem is that the refurbishing doesnt usually fix why the item was returned. Im on my third DVR from Spectrum, this year and just waiting for this one to have a problem. When it does, Ill return it and get another piece of junk from Spectrum.

I personally hate the lousy service that Spectrum has provided my roommates and I. We have only stayed with them because they are all that is offered. We pay for 400mbs and receive 250mbs. And everytime I call about our service they send a tech out who tells me. Your problem is that you are not using a spectrum router... I have a degree in networking. If it was my router Id have fixed it. I wish I could get the last 2 years of my service money back. I find spectrum to be the worst internet service provider on the market. Your better off getting Dial up.

I had an appointment, no one else was there so I got right in. Only took a few minutes to pick up my order. The only drawback was that I had some questions and I forgot to ask them because they didnt ask if I had any. That is partly on me, so I wont mark down a full star.

Terrible service and such a rip off! Screwed up the cables and WiFi when they were setting it up and left us with no WiFi for a week. Not only did they schedule to fix the problem a week later, but they also demanded to be paid in full for fixing the problem that they made. They also rescheduled the day they promised they were going to arrive. This is unbelievable. I would not be surprised if they created the problem intentionally to later be paid to fix it. Customer service was also terrible. Would not recommend and will not be going back to Spectrum.

Pretty Terrible. I switched to Gogle fiber, which is faster and cheaper after all the hidden fees. Spectrum has some pretty good introductory rates, but... once you start using them they use your information to spam you with emails (normal), mail disguised as bills or that says important information or something similar when its really more advertisements, and if that werent bad enough they also call you multiple times with upsell offers. They harass you. Then there are fees that dont make sense, like I had a credit card expire and I got a new one so they charged me 100% my monthly rate as a fee because the autopay went to my old card. I wasnt late on the bill and changed it before the bill was actually due, just because it was an expired card so it was denied that I was charged. Then as a cherry on top when I went to cancel there is no option on the website, you have to call them and explain why you dont want their service anymore. When I told them why the guy on the phone tried to normalize their business practices and tell me everyone does that. When I still said I wanted to cancel I was talked down on the rest of the call. Service is good. Business practices are unacceptable.
