I have a vintage mouton fur coat that needed cleaning. After researching all over Kansas City, I went with Alaskan Fur.I remember the jingle from the nineties!Other cleaners told me it would be weeks, and would have to be shipped somewhere else for the cleaning, the cost was almost double what Alaskan Furs price was. I could tell my coat was carefully inspected and thoroughly cleaned. Also, with annual cleaning I will be able to enjoy my vintage fur coat for years to come. I would definitely recommend Alaskan Fur to family and friends.

My family has been shopping with them all my life. Loved going to the Plaza store when I was a little girl, and continue to love shopping with them as an adult at the Overland Park location. My grandmother bought me a full link mink coat for my 21st Birthday, that was 27 years ago, and my coat still looks brand new thanks to getting it Alaskanized every year! Love that it is a local family owned business, and I would never shop fur anywhere else!!!

Always easy to work with cleaning and storage. But they knocked it out of the park when we needed fur stoles for a winter wedding. They could not have worked harder to make it happen.

I was able to get some amazing fur gifts for my mom, my sister, and some close friends that looked amazing. The service was great and they showed me exactly what I wanted and wrapped them all in nice packaging for me.

My, what an unfriendly customer service experience Ive just had with this store! I recently inherited several lovely mink fur coats and stoles. I called this store with multiple questions, but after my first one Do you purchase pre-owned furs? I was told no and hung up on by the woman who answered. I was only interested in selling one, the rest will need to be cleaned and stored, perhaps modified as well. Unfortunately, a judgement was passed by the salesperson, and it was made clear to me that my business is not wanted or welcome. I will instead pursue out-of-state options.
