I would never do business with this company ever again. They asked for a card to be put on file to charge for each session, which I happily obliged to, little did I know they were going to debit money from my account for services I didn’t receive. My therapist scheduled 8 appointments, something I never asked him to do, nonetheless he said they were tentatively scheduled, implying things could change without hindering us, the paying customer. Our therapist canceled on us three consecutive weeks in a row and one one occasion he changed our appointment time an hour before we were scheduled to be there. We didn’t complain as we understood life happens. We then noticed our card was charged $250. We followed up with our therapist who ensured us the money would be credited. It never was. Then we noticed another $125 taken from our account, making the total $375.I as well as my husband called their billing department numerous times and we were told it was our fault, they’d refund $155, thus leaving us with a loss of $220, again, for services that were never received/provided.I followed up with the billing department and they informed me we were out that money and that the owner/ therapist agreed we were responsible for the charges.I even sent proof to the billing department that it wasn’t our fault. It’s really sad and pathetic that a place that is suppose to HELP people has no problem taking money and charging people for services that were never received. It seems they use this opportunity as a money grab. Not sure how you can be in the ethics business and be unethical, but here they are.My advice to anyone who is considering going here, don’t, unless you want a headache and more stress than when you initially started coming to this business!

Armstrong Family Counseling offers life changing Neurofeedback services by highly skilled therapists who will really help you understand the process and benefits of how this type of therapy will help you get past many issues you may feel “stuck” dealing with, even after others therapies may not have been successful. Matt and Gabe were both professional and friendly and provided a comfortable atmosphere for speaking freely and asking questions. Highly recommend this office for therapy for even the toughest situations.

I had an appointment on Nov 4th. I got online and clicked the link but nothing happened. I called to reschedule for Nov 11th. I waited from 2pm to 2:09, until I received a text message of a zoom link. I was able to have a first session despite it was 9 minutes late. I realized I was charged with twice service, one on the 4th and one on the 11th. I called regarding the extra charge but heard nothing. I was still looking forward to the appointment today at 2pm but I opened the appointment link 3 minutes late and couldnt get connection. So I tried to call the number that send the link last week back, it hung up on me. I called again to the company billing department and left a message. I felt that less likely I would get a call back so I called my bank and have the second and third charges taken care of because there was only one session that went on. My therapist was Lyndee Schaefer.

Michael French is our counselor. My wife and I have been working for several months now with Michael and he has been very helpful in our marriage counseling sessions. He has helped tremendously in getting our life together back on track. As a couple, he made us feel at ease with discussing our individual concerns and supplied us with work sheets, readings and helpful videos as activities between sessions These helped tremendously and opened up areas we both needed to work on. His scheduling has been very flexible. I would recommend Michael to anyone without any reservations.

Everyone that works here is courteous and they try to help you find solutions to your everyday life problems in a way that is as positive as possible, and doesnt hurt other people involved. Insurance wise, unfortunately they are out of network with Tricare, but they are working on it, as Ive been told. Comfortable enough setting when waiting for your meeting, and the rooms are set up to be quiet and serene when your sessions are going on to help instill a bit of calmness so you can focus on what your counselor brings up in your discussions.

Gabe Fry was respectful, and insightful. He helped me look at things from a different angle. And taught me techniques on how to deal with my anxieties and worries about life and all relationships. If you choose to do so, like I did, he will also use christian beliefs to help you when and where it is useful.

Ive been going to Matt now for almost 3 years doing counseling and neuro feed back. The counseling has been a game changer for me and my family. Matt has been a wonderful asset to my life and I look forward every week to my sessions because Im getting the help that I need for myself which means that my family also benefits from it. Matt is so caring and compassionate and he is able to explain things to me in a way that i understand and can apply in my daily life. Starting counseling was and is one of the best decisions ive made.

Matt has been a game changer for me and my family. I was amazed to find that Matt not only was enthusiastic about the prospects of being able to help me and my family, he had an uncanny gift of discernment and understanding of deeply complex issues such as high level domestic violence and PTS, right from the first visit.I have tried to reach out in the past but couldnt find anyone that truly understood the very complex and multi-faceted issues we had been faced with. He not only understood the situations but immediately began to apply deeply helpful solutions. Im happy to report that my life has taken the fast track to progress in a situation that seemed bleak. For the first time in my life, I no longer feel stuck in a catch22.It is rare to find a professional with Matts ability to identify and recognize complex situations and treat them clinically, combined with his gift as a listening and caring talk therapist.Ive already recommended Matt to many of my church, friends and family. I highly recommend Matt to anyone for marriage, family or private counseling. He has been the much needed catalyst that is turning my familys lives around.Weve also had experience with Gabe and Amanda who are also deeply gifted in what they do and the approach they take. I complimented Matt on his ability to collect only the best therapists and he assured me this was not an accident. This place is a rare gem and I wish I had found them years ago.Due to the rapid rate of seeing results I feel like this is a great value for the money. Ive wasted time and money on other counselors in the past and had felt grateful for getting such a tiny bit out of it. This is how it should be - and more than worth every penny.

Be careful with these people. My marriage was going south and instead of setting us up with an actual marriage counselor, we got setup with a womens therapist and I can honestly tell you this lady sided with my wife no matter what was said. She didnt intervene when things went bad, and she would just stare at me and talk down to me (not my wife, the therapist). My marriage is now about to end.

Dena, our counselor, was phenomenal. She understood us, communicated well, and had great solutions for us. However, everything else was awful. We showed up to our first appointment and the elevators were all locked down for the night. We searched the building for half an hour trying to get to our appointment, worried that we were in the wrong place, and were finally let up by a janitor after wandering all over confused. No one had bothered to tell us they come down and get you because the doors lock after 6.We tried forever to get our payments set up and they kept getting the information wrong or forgetting that they took our information even after the counselor took a secure photo of my card.Once we showed up for an appointment, which I had confirmed the day before, and the counselor never showed up...so we wasted an hour sitting there. They texted an apology the next day and said theyd call, but never did. I had the hardest time getting a new one set up with them. When I finally got to reschedule I made the comment that we could set it up for a certain day because it was a holiday so we were both free all day, and they said that was great and made the appointment. Then they called back the next day and said they didnt realize it was a holiday and had to cancel our appointment...even though I had literally said it was when I was on the phone with them.I called to ask that they confirm that we didnt get charged for the appointment the counselor didnt show up to and the one they canceled and still havent received verification. We tried to reach them so many different times, even during business hours, to help them figure out payments, schedule appointments, find out where Dena was, etc, and could almost never get a hold of anyone...what if we were a serious situation like many counseling related needs are?! Now that Dena has left, we will not go back.Im sure they are great people, just not okay with the unprofessional, unreliable setup.

My son who does counseling and neurofeedback has been going to you for along time. You have for the most part been very patient with him and his inability to get anywhere on time. I do understand the frustration with late arrivals and cancellations because I work with scheduling and seeing patients also. We recently though have had several issues with communication. We show up for our scheduled appointment with Matt and they tell us Matt will no longer be seeing us he is limiting his cases. Okay but it would of been nice to know or at least be told so I could prepare my son who has a very hard time with change especially when it comes to a new therapist. We have seen Gabe a few times and I believe he tries to reach and help our son but not as good of a connection between the two. We then get an appointment scheduled with Matt again which you guys scheduled and we were very happy. When we show up for the appointment Gabe shows up and I asked about Matt and he says something about someone sick but he does tell me he is seeing Matt. When I pick him up after the appointment he was not with Matt but Gabe instead. We did an evaluation over 2 months ago to be able to get prior authorization to continue with couseling and neurofeedback. I have called several times and get the same response, that the insurance company has not returned their calls. I totally understand the frustration with insurance I work with them daily. I also know they have time limits that they have to respond back to you.I feel like we are just not a priority to you and havent been for quiet a while. Maybe some of that is our fault if so I apologize.

As my wife likes to put it, Matt has freakish insight, which might sound weird but he seems to understand my wife and I better than we could explain. His ideas were so spot on and helpful that my wife even referred another family member and she too is enjoying the time of self discovery in individual counseling.

My husband and I were in a car accident in February 2016, we didnt think it effected anything outside of the physical problems it caused, but it did.It ended up causing mental problems that Matt, since April, has made 100x better. Sometimes we have a problem, like last week, and we emailed him for a next day appointment and Jody (his assistant) texted me 20 minutes later and confirmed a next day appointment time with us.We cant say enough about Armstrong Family Counseling. Were forever indebted to him, and we couldnt say thank you enough.
