Spoke to someone in May of 2020 but I was already on contract and had one I committed to next. Apparently this made my profile “not a good fit.” When I reached out in December of 2020 I was met with a rude and aggressive phone line person who was impatient and hung up on me. I called back and I was told my profile was fixed and it was good to go. Called again August 2021 and was told I was the one who was rude and aggressive on the phone. 100% not the case. Their phone line workers apparently have the ability to place lies on your profile and treat nurses with disrespect. Never have I had this kind of an encounter with a travel nurse company in 5 years of travel. Considering all the horrible things I’ve heard about Krucial, I’ll take this as a blessing and will continue to work with the multiple good companies I have used over the last 5 years. This company lacks professionalism and self accountability. Not someone I’d ever want to work for.

I’ve been on 3 deployments to Texas with Krucial. They are truly the best. Everyone is kind and professional. They care about their employees. I even received a text from the CEO wishing me a happy birthday. Considering they have so many medical professionals deployed it was a total surprise that he took the time to acknowledge my birthday. Overall they are organized and run a tight ship but when issues occasionally came up as they can in crisis situations Krucial was always quick to get everything handled. Crisis work is definitely not for just anyone as you need to have patience and grace and be ready to go with the flow. They are the best in the business and I look forward to more deployments to whatever crisis situation they are handling next. Thank you for all you do Krucial Staffing!

Krucial Staffing is one of the best agency. Strict but they treat their staff well.

5 star for the mission and the amazing friends that I made. However, 1 star for these jealous IMTs in Tyler, TX who ruined the experience for all of us. They acted like we NURSES work for them when in reality we all work for Krucial as a team. Nevertheless, I had a positive experience in Harlingen, TX (Kudos to both Julie & Jacqueline our IMTs). Unfortunately, my coworkers and I agreed to their bootcamp located in Tyler after leaving Harlingen. There we met Kyle & those 2 sisters (Dawn & Mellony) who seemed to be very jealous of us, nurses. Marc was the only decent one in Tyler, and good luck contacting HR.

Incredibly their receptionist bragged to me that she was NOT going to get a COVID vaccination because she didnt believe in it! I asked her why was she in healthcare if she didnt believe in science and keeping people healthy and keeping them from DYING? Jesus was going to protect her. (???? what about her family and children in the families???). If those are the nutjobs at this place no wonder they have a ton of lawsuits against them! NO THANKS KRUCIAL! And btw its spelled CRUCIAL.

Krucial Staffing is a family that truly comes together to meet the needs of communities in urgent situations. As a Travel Nurse I can truly say that I am proud of the back bone of on-site administration staff that helps make all my deployments successful in serving our community and serving staff members. At the end of each deployment we ride into the sunset together knowing that what we do at Krucial is not a job but a call to serve our nation.

This company makes everyone money hungry they forget how to act professional.

This is the most disorganized company I’ve ever seen!A. There doesn’t seem to be any rationale as to who is on standby and who works.B. Per request, I gave them 72 hours notice of demobilization. I checked out on a Tuesday and I still received a call at 6:30 am on Friday inquiring about my whereabouts because I was still on the roster. What did you do with my paperwork?C. They changed my filing status WITHOUT MY CONSENT, which messed up my check and were nonchalant saying I could get a refund of my taxes in 2022!!!!

It was a pleasure working for Krucial Staffing. They value their employees and puts safety first at all times. It was the little things that stood out the most: like water being provided when we got back to the hotel and the comfort they give you to know you have a safe ride back to your hotel after a long shift . I highly recommend this agency.

They treat nurses like a toy

Started my deployment with them in August to Brownsville,Texas everything was fine until. They did a mass demobilization I got demob on October 5. October 7 I called up until December 20 I got assignment back to Brownsville, Texas had a problem with my flight I got it fixed while trying to pay for my flight my deployment was giving away. I called for another deployment I got it January 29 paid for my flight all of sudden my certification wasn’t good enough because I didn’t have it for a year the lady who called me claimed they would hold my position until the am which was a lie krucial has there pros and cons but they are really unorganized and some of the ppl are really unprofessional

I have done two deployments with Krucial to NY and Midland and they are bar none the best company I have ever worked for. Your on-site staff is so positive and supportive! I plan on going back as long as I’m needed!

They waited until I was four hours into driving across Texas to tell me I was canceled for my assignment. The woman from HR was not only unprofessional but couldn’t piece two words together. Terrible experience. Do not take any assignment with them.

The pros: caring company, constantly seeking to improve themselves and their operation. Very encouraging and accepting of employee feedback. They have been incredibly helpful and thoughtful during the craziest health crisis of our time.The cons: the pay is so good you will forget you have family to go home to.

It is currently pretty hard to get through on the phones, but who could have predicted this scale of need?! Once you get through the process is efficient and easy. Great company! Oh, and the girl who runs the twitter feed is fun, informative and super helpful!!

Krucial goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in abundance, be it the hotel, food, accommodating laundry, practicing within your scope, people are nothing but kind and so hard working! They are a blessing to the society with how prompt they are in emergency staffing situation. Alex, Donnie, Vanessa and even Brian the CEO answered my calls to comfort me before coming on an assignment.

I thought this company was fake at first! I saw one of my old co workers husband post about going to NYC with this company and started asking questions. She praised this company, so I started looking at their social media accounts and noticed that I had just missed one of their deployment alerts. However, the next one I was READY. I had 3 phones and started calling right on the dot. Unfortunately, I didn’t get through and felt defeated, but I messaged asking when they would have another one. They responded right away and let me know. I was ready again, by the third deployment alert- I got through and let me just tell you. From the moment Sydney answered the phone, I shrieked in excitement and she giggled. She was extremely thorough, friendly, and got me all situated in a short time. She answered all my questions and encouraged me to reach out if I had any other questions. From the point of getting rostered, Krucial Staffing has been super great about communicating all the important details. They lay out expectations, but also emphasize the concern for employee safety and satisfaction. I leave tomorrow and arrive in NYC, but I am so stoked that I get to go with this company. I know I’ll probably be leaving another stellar review once I actually work for them, but my experience already has been so great I had to come on here and brag about them! I’m working with Krucial for covid19 relief in NYC and am very happy with this company. There are a few things I could be picky about, but this is crisis work / disaster relief, so the overarching principle is that I think they’re doing a good job.There was an issue with on site leadership in the beginning of my deployment, but it was remedied.Communication has been more than acceptable for a crisis situation — things can change daily and coordination of so many workers is a huge feat.The pay is very competitive, the lodging and food compensation are good, and the company does a nice job at making their employees feel valued.I knew from the start that I was signing up to work disaster relief, and my expectations from Krucial have been exceeded at this point.

In working for Krucial it has taught me so much about life. One of the things that I can say about this company and the leadership is that it’s not just business but they make you feel like family in a positive way, by listening and making sure there employees needs are met. My husband recently traveled to NYC to serve on the COVID19 frontlines. As newly weds, the choice for him to go was incredibly hard. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have NEVER had to fight for the money that I have earned anywhere like I have with this company. I risked my life to go into a COVID filled unit with a promise of a paycheck and quarantine pay after my assignment and they haven’t held up to their end of that agreement at all.They now are refusing to pay quarantine pay and have paid me 1/2 to 1/3 of my hours both checks that I have received. You can’t get a copy of a pay stub, you are constantly directed just to email them and they will stick that money on your “next check” honestly it’s hard to track if they are even paying you over time rates like promised because of the way they divide your money. I was planning on returning to work another assignment but they literally can not get anything right. I’ve even advanced my issues to the CEO of the company. Don’t waste your time with them.

My friend told me how this company lied to them. This company had provided quarantine pay for workers that were going back to states that had mandated quarantine orders. All of a sudden they just stopped. This individual had worked a bunch of shifts and went and quarantined for two weeks and then after the quarantine they said they are not providing pay anymore.

Great organization to work for. Loved my time with Krucial and their sister company. I worked 3 deployment with them and everyone you work with really are your family away from family; from the on-site supervisors to the staff. Looking forward to doing more good work with Krucial Staffing in future deployments.

I got on with Krucial staffing 6 days ago. Within 48 hrs I was in NYC to help battle COVID-19. Ryan was my intake specialist on the phone. He was pleasant, excited and ready to get me ready for this quick adventure. He was positive and reassuring. He was concise with the most important info needed right up front. Krucials social media is amazing and thorough as well. They are very responsive to questions and comments left on Twitter, Instagram and FB. Once I arrived at the hotel the staff was organized and quick. I signed in and got my room right away. Orientation was thorough, entertaining and to the point. No BS. Everything is well laid out from laundry to mail delivery to food delivery to daily sign-up and assignments. I see the staff working for Krucial all hours of the day. I dont know when they get breaks, but they are always smiling, positive and helpful. I truly cant say enough good things. They are more than accessible and ready to serve. Ive also signed on as a Reservist and hope that maybe I can serve again in the future when duty calls. WELL DONE!!! Thank you, Krucial, for your service.

Krucial Staffing is a Wonderful company, the Management staff takes care of the employees and their need. This job is so rewarding, actually life changing we can all make a difference.

My husband went to help out in NY. He says they were totally disorganized, changed policies it seemed by the hour to their benefit. No one can give you a truthful answer. My husband Filled out paperwork to be exempt 2 times and they still took out taxes, we lost over $2500 and all we get is “sorry” our mistake, well duh, but we are still out the money. We were told 2 days off if needed at any time, nope, you also have to give 48 hour notice to get approved, and they dock your pay if you use them. Most of the workers have been flexible and patient but you need to get your act together, lots of miscommunication and/or no communication. We were told Krucial would provide PPE, my husband has not received anything from them yet, the assigned hospitals have given him his PPE. They said “dont worry we will provide you with everything when you get there”, again not true. They pay a week behind which they dont tell you either. There has to be trust in the company you work for and be outright honest in what you will be doing and what to and not to expect.

This was my first assignment with Krucial Staff. I was totally disappointed and will never work with them again nor do I recommend them. They will not pay you for services they promised to pay. Don’t risk your life or your time on them. No ethics such a shame!

I have nothing negative to say about Krucial staffing. Ever since I started working with them its been a positive experience. I met a lot of new friends because of working with Krucial. If I ever had any questions or concerns I could ask them and they would be answered or taken up the chain to get an answer. As other have said its a family away from your family especially with deployments for emergency camps. You work long hours but the pay is worth it and getting paid every week is also a good thing. Do not hesitate to get on the reservists list for anything that may come up for work. Once you are have worked. Before and remain in good standing with Krucial you will always be notified if any jobs or camps are pending.

I have worked for this company in three different occasions and every time I’m welcomed as part of a big family. I like the fact that those that are in charge of the hotels do not forget your names and are so willingly ready to help with any situation quickly.

Krucial Staffing is the most Amazing, honest, family oriented, caring company I have ever worked for. Ive never worked for a Ceo or company (other than Favorite Staffing their sister company) that will go visit the deployments, take time to call staff, go to the sites visit the staff the way that this wonderful group of people do!!!! This agency honestly works 24/7 to try to make everyone happy. They all go above and beyond to not only make sure we can take care of the tasks we are given but take care of all of Krucial Staffers. I have been a temp worker from the beginning of Krucial and with the Ceo and his amazing team since 2016 and honestly everytime my phone rings and says Krucial Imso excited to see all the deployment family it really is a family reunion everytime we all see each other.
