Look folks, if youre going to this place looking for the latest trends or require a complicated haircut, this is not the joint for you. That said, if you are just a regular Joe and just need a normal mens haircut, this guy is perfect. Always friendly, never fussy and a genuinely decent person to talk to. I work in Lawrence and live in southern JOCO and this is the only cat I will drive to see, and there are a lot of places in between. Never been unhappy with the job Blake does. The first time I went there and didnt have cash, he didnt have an issue with me running to the ATM to pay him and this was after he cut my hair! Most places would of flipped out over this.

Blakes is a really cool, down to earth, old school barber shop where good ole boys shoot the s*** on a Saturday morning. The haircuts are top notch and the service is excellent. They only accept cash or check payment as far as I know, so come prepared.

Wow. Worst haircut of my life. He had no idea what he was doing on my skin fade and cut the top of my hair when I asked him not to. He had the chair turned to the back of the shop the whole time so I couldnt even see how horrible it was until I got in my car. And $20?! Im going to have to pay another $20 to have someone else try to fix this.

The older gentleman who cut my hair gave me the worst haircut Ive ever had in my 38 years on this earth. It was a joke. At $19 this is absolutely unreasonable. I will never step foot in this place again. I had to shave my head after my experience at Blakes barber shop. Save your money and find another barber. I have no idea who is rating this place five stars. Id give it negative five if I could.

Friendly and nice place. Wait is never very long and haircuts are always great. Barber shops like this are a treasure, and unfortunately getting fewer with the passage of time. Stick that in your Man-Bun.
