They arrived on time, worked quickly, and were professional. They charged me about twice what they quoted me, though. I could have gotten a company from much farther away for far cheaper. Highly recommend looking elsewhere unless you hate money.

I wasnt going to give this company a review but after theyre little stunt they just pulled they deserve one so here it is. I called this company for a problem with my rv at the KOA in La Salle,IL. Weds. 09/02/2020 at 7:58am and explained my situation and was told by dispatch that the driver was just about done with the call out he was on and then hed be on his way. 2hrs. no driver so at 10:06am I called again and was told that the driver was finishing up some paperwork and would be out. Waited another 2hrs. so at 12:08pm I called again to check on the drivers status and was again told that the driver was finishing up some paperwork and then hed be out. Waited another 2hrs. still no driver so at 1:52 I called another towing company (Convoy Automotive) and told them about my problem and they said theyd have a driver there in 20 min so at 1:56pm after waiting 6hrs. for this company to show up I called and cancelled and was told the driver was on his way there and I told them if he really is on his way which I doubt because theyve been telling me that for 6hrs to turn him around because hes not needed and then I was told that thats ok theyll bill me and I told them they werent going to bill because theyve been jacking me around and lying to me for 6hrs. and they did bill me. They charged my credit card $390 because I got tired of waiting and calling for 6hrs so I guess its ok to make someone wait for hrs like they did me and I heard that they left an 87 yr old lady sitting along side the freeway for 4hrs. that this driver had to go rescue. I wonder if they billed her as well for her wait time. I had that charge cancelled by my bank. Convoy just as promised was there in 20 min and had my problem resolved in about 15 min and only charged me the min. call out fee of $95 Thats an Up Standing Company. Ill pay a towing company to come from 500 miles away to help me before Ill call this company again. P.S. So this morning Sat. 09/05/2020 my wife calls and talks to the company mgr to dispute the $390 charge on our credit card and the he was a RUDE A..HOLE! First off he lied to her and said that I cancelled after they showed up. Then he lied to her again when she asked him for a copy of the invoice and he said they gave me a copy when they were there. I never got in invoice because that didnt happen because they never showed up and Linda the mgr of the KOA never seen any other towing company show up the except Convoy. Period! So DO NOT Give them your CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO HAVE ON FILE LIKE THEYLL ASK YOU TO DO LIKE I DID THINKING THEY WERE A LEGIMATE COMPANY BECAUSE THEYLL LEAVE YOU SIT FOR HRS. The absolute most rude and unprofessional company Ive ever had to do with in my 32 years living on this planet. After making we wait 5 hours I called to cancel my toe and the guy became very rude I told them I was going to give them a one-star review because they threw me through loops all day all day all day and he said hes going to give me a one-star review then when I call back to talk to management hes making racist Asian Chinese sounding voices telling me management isnt available. Jonnys left us out in the cold with my five-year old son for almost four hours and repeatedly lied to us. Do not use this service. They do not deserve even one star, but, sadly, I cannot leave negative stars.We broke down on the highway and called for assistance at about 5:30 pm. We told them where we were and the only information they asked for was the drivers name. They said it would be about one to one and a half hours. We agreed and waited about two hours without seeing any sign of them before calling back. At first, they cut me off, told me to wait a second, then hung up on me. I wasnt sure if this was a mistake or on purpose. We called back a moment later, only to be told they would be there in an hour. My friend called as well, and they told her 30 minutes. We waited another hour, still with no sign of them. We gave up and called The Auto Clinic at around 8:00 pm. The Auto Clinic asked for a decent amount of information and said they would be out in 20-30 minutes. They showed up in 15-20 minutes and had the vehicle ready to go very quickly. The Auto Clinic driver was very nice and helpful, as opposed to the complete lack of service from Jonnys.

Charged me $451.00 to replace a $9.00 glad hand. I dont mind paying for service, but this borders on excessive. If you have any other options, I suggest you try them first. If I could give less than one star I would. I will never call them again under any circumstance.

I was very leery letting anyone tow my brand new 2018 Z06. I called Jonnys towing and requested a flatbed. I told the dispatcher the type of vehicle they would be towing . I needed them to be extra careful with it and bring some type of boards to fit the car onto their flatbed. The dispatcher told me sir not to worry they are very familiar with this vehicle and have towed all types of exotic cars.They reassured me I came to the right place which made me feel very relieved.They sent out one of their best certified drivers who got to me in exactly the quoted ETA I was given. They were able to load up my car get it secured on the flatbed and towed it to the speed shop to get a Dyno tune. Everything went nice and smooth my car arrived safely and unharmed. I cannot stress enough what a professional company this is I would definitely use them again to tow my car.

Call placed at 1130 for a tow. By 7 pm after being told “it’ll be less than an hour” multiple times I asked to cancel the tow where they said it would be a $200 charge. Obviously they never intended to tow the car. Called the better business bureau and they have an F rating. Never use this company.

My wifes friend broke down on I-80 yesterday afternoon (11/19). She called Jonnys Towing and they gave her an estimated time of 1 to 1.5 hours. After almost two hours, they hadnt shown up. She called again and said it would be about an hour. An hour later, she called again and they gave an ETA of 30 minutes. At that time, I called Auto Clinic. Auto Clinic showed up in about 20 minutes. I have no idea if Jonnys ever showed up, but after 4 hours on the side of the interstate, we werent going to waste any more time with Jonnys.The sun was up when she called Jonnys the first time. It was cold and dark. If they couldnt make it in a timely fashion, they should have said that so we could have called someone else sooner.

Dont be fooled into thinking this is a reputable local company for lockout service. Do NOT call these people if you live in Ottawa, they do NOT have an office here because the city council threw them out. Theyll take hours to show up and gouge you for the cost. I found a reputable service out of LaSalle, he recommends using Conroys for lockout service.Dont have anything to do with these people. I spoke with an attorney who says they have multiple judgments against them and didnt pay their rent at the Plano office.

I was stranded on the side of the road I could not get my wheel off a few of the Lugnuts were stripped. I had to call these guys out to help me was quoted they would get to me in about 40 min. They actually arrived within 30 and had the proper tools to get the striped lugnuts off and get my spare tire on. I highly recommend these guys. Awesome service!

There 2 hour minimum turns into 4 hours. They use Google to advertise but not for GPS to find you. 1 hour of charge for them being lost. I gave address when I first called. Then at 4:15 they billed till 5:30. Now I drive slow and was passing there shop before 5. They must drive really slow. They did a fine job extracting my overweight truck. Stuck on a flat road. Just the billing practice I dont agree with. Paid the $ $2500. Lesson learned do not use first on Google list.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Better response times than snails, but not quite as fast as sloths. Almost as honest as an Illinois politician. Nearly able to resist ripping people off, but not yet there. They ask for credit card numbers up front, never show up, and charge your card. Thay have a Better Business Bureau rating F and not allowed on local police tow lists. If the cops know theyre crooked, when will the public figure it out? If you get ripped off by these people, please respect the rest of the public by sharing your story. These people need run out of town.

These guys r scammer. I should have checked the reviews first before my company called them for a road service. my alternator was sezied and broke serpentine belt on i290. I provide the belt and the guy get the new alternator. Charged me 5hrs of labor. Total cost $1600 They charge you the moment u call them. Had an emergency situation locked my keys in the car while they were in the ignition. I really wasn’t sure who to call I tried the police but they didn’t seem very comfortable about getting into my car and said they may damage my door and seal. I was told I might want to call locksmith or a company that might be able to do this service luckily enough I googled for a lock out service and Jonnys was in the area. I called them up immediately and was quoted a 30 minute ETA. They got to me when they said they would and were in my car in a matter of minutes. I cannot be happy with their service thank you

Terrible. Never again. Called at 11:25 am and told the driver would call me back in a few minutes. Dispatcher said tow was 85.oo. I called the office again at noon because I never heard from the driver. The driver called a few minutes later and said he was in the next town over and would be there in a little bit and I was next. So at 1:15 no sign of him. Called office and they said he is on his way that he would be there in 15 mins. Another hour passed and I called the office again. I was told he was turning down the street. I said he isnt turning on the street as the street is small and I am standing outside. The driver calls a minute later and said he had to gas up and will be there in 15....lie after lie. Then when he finally came and towed me 2 miles he said that it was 93.00 dollars. I said I was told 85. He said well I have to charge you 4.00/ mile. That wasnt said to me by your office. I then said, I waited 3 hours and now you want to charge me more. He asked for cash twice and said I dont have cash. I ended up paying him the 85.00 originally agreed on and got an electronic receipt.

NEVER CALL THIS PLACE. I called at 9:30 am and informed me that the service would be in 30 minutes. After calling several times arrived at 1:30 pm (4 hours). In a distance of 6 miles I was sent a payable amount of $ 838.00. I called the police and only then was it reduced to $ 570.00. They worked 1 hour and charged me 3 hours. They are not honest. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER call this place.

BEWARE OF THESE GUYS. Had to get a roadside repair done to tractor trailer called a different company to come out for the repairs. JONNYS TOWING must have been driving by and saw me on the off ramp shoulder. He steps out, walks to my truck and said my company or I called him to tow my tractor.The REAL company I called finally arrive to do my repairs but they told me to go further down the road to a safer area so they can work on my trailer. JONNYS TOWING blocks us in and said he needs to get paid for at least coming out and wouldnt let us leave unless he got some form of payment. After 10 mins I guess he realize his scam wasnt going to work and left.. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I am not one to bash a company, or to complain on Facebook, but I am posting this because I hope this never happens to anyone else...Friday night after work I was getting gas at the BP in Ottawa on Norris Drive, while filling up my truck, I noticed I locked my keys inside, I went inside the gas station, and asked the guy what I should do. He dialed a number waited for them to answer then he handed me the phone.I told whoever answered “I locked my keys in my truck I’m at the BP in Ottawa on Norris Dr. can you come unlock it for me?” He told me “yeah we can do that what kind of truck do you have?” I told him, then I asked him how long it would be. He told me “probably like 5-10 minutes.” I said awesome thank you so so much. He then said we need a credit card number before we come out, and me not carrying any cash,and not really thinking gave it to him.I then waited over 45 minutes and the other worker at the BP asked me who the other guy called. I told him to be honest I don’t know.. we went inside and he asked the other who he called. He said Johnny’s towing. The other guy said no you should have called this number. So then he calls a towing service called Partridges who came within 5 minutes and unlocked my truck.The guy from BP then called Johnny’s to let them know I no longer needed their service, when the guy from Johnny’s told him “well you better let her know she was charged $150.” The guy from BP asked “how can you charge her you never even serviced her? You never even showed up.” Then the guy from Johnny’s responded “I don’t care not my F*****g problem I shouldn’t have to waste my F*****g time and I got my money.”This is definitely a learning experience even though I am out $150... I feel very taken advantage of and I truly hope that this doesn’t happen to anybody else...

Called Jonnys towing to come tow my car, but th driver was nice enough to check my car out. He looked at my battery and Alternator for me, turns out didnt need the tow! He got my car up and running on the spot!! Definitely a great towing company!
