The group at Pomp’s in Ottawa, IL are fantastic (especially Pat who takes good care and concern tor me, my car, and every customer who comes into Pomp’s). Josh, at the desk with colorful hair runs around in productive circles taking care and answering questions of everyone who walks through the door. I usually sit in one of their comfortable couches while Pat works on my car and I read or do some productive paperwork. During that time I don’t get much done because I’m watching Josh taking care of everything and getting it done without the backup he could surely use. It’s an extremely busy place because they’re GREAT. It’s where you go for Exceptional Service. The service and friendliness of the guys at Pomps was fantastic. They were able to put 4 new tires on my vehicle in less than an hour. They even took care of all the paperwork for a rebate I was eligible for including the envelope and stamp! Really impressed with their customer service.

Had a blow out due to a road hazard and they were the only store in a 60 mile radius that had the tire (245/45 ZR 20 Goodyear Eagle) Was able to get in and out in about an hour and a half and back on the road. Great service from Cave and competitive pricing. Highly recommend.

Sometimes you just have to get the best. Our daughter needed tires and this time we were not messing around. A longtime employee there and a lifelong family friend helped us along the way. I’ve been a fan of Pomp’s (specifically the Ottawa, IL location) for many years due to how amazingly well they’ve always treated my elderly parents. They continue to constantly go above & beyond taking care of me as well. And since I have a 200 mile/day commute, I’m always in need of oil changes, tire rotations, basic maintenance, as well as purchasing new tires annually. Great guys & great service! Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to Pomp’s for years now. They provide great services for reasonable and fair prices. They are always honest and they don’t tell you to buy all of these things you don’t need because they’re trying to get a sale or because you’re a girl who doesn’t know what they need. Pomps tire is the place to go to for all car repair. They are friendly and honest. You know when you leave there the job is do right!

We got right in when we needed a tire checked. After checking, they recommended rotating the tires also. The tire was fixed and rotation done within less than a few hours time. We were shown the problem in a picture. None of our time was wasted waiting for service and all for a very reasonable price . Will definitely use them again.

On a trip from Connecticut to my home in Nebraska, I lost air in one of my Bridgestone DriveGuard Run-Flat tires at about the 900 mile mark in Ottawa Illinois. For some reason, no one carries the DriveGuard 245/45RF17… if it wasn’t for the Pomp’s tire team, who were able to find a similar make tire to get me home, I would have had several days delay. Their service was courteous and reasonable, but more importantly the got me back on the road within a few hours. I highly recommend you try them first!

I had the best experience at pomp’s, they were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I took my car in for what I thought was a slow leak, turned out my tire was junk. They offered to put on my spare for me if I didn’t want to purchase a new tire that day. I ended up just buying a new tire but I appreciated that they were trying to offer more than one solution. I highly recommend them. Also they were very fast I’ve waited two hours for an oil change at Walmart before and they had me in and out in under 45 minutes.Update went for an oil change and they didn’t disappoint it was super quick and the tech are very friendly and helpful

Pomps is top notch from beginning to end. From getting tires to having your car worked on the people there are very knowledgeable and nice. They dont try and sell you the most expensive tire and they dont tell you something needs to be fixed when its still just fine. They are very trusting and its a place I feel comfortable going to.

Didnt give up continued until was done properly, took the car to three diffrent alignment shops that didnt kno the system properly told me it would work itself to normal. In this I found out was completely wrong and out of wack. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Great experience, After every other place I called had a week or more wait list. I called Pomp’s at 10am on a Saturday about new tires for my Subaru. That had me back on the road before noon. Josh and his co worker are knowledgeable, pleasant and polite. They suggested tires other than original factory tires that are quieter and smoother on the road. They were right. Very happy with the service. Which by the way only took around an hour for a complete set.

If you are from out of town and need help dont, I repeat dont go to pomps tire. Pyramid scheme of overpricing and send you to another shop that changes you acouple hundred dollars and still have the same problem

The service and staff are great and very knowledgeable. They recommended the Good Year Weather Ready Tires for my All Wheel Drive SUV and I am so glad I went with them. These tires are phenomenal! If i could give negative i would i called at 1130 they said it would be a after hours call, really thats not how to do business. And like most the advertise that they want youre business and keep youre truck rolling. Got 42 tires like to buy in pairs so I have a good spare 0 dollars today a holes. Ill spend more money today somewhere else. I feel that if we the public should spend our money at someones competition even if its a few dollars more.

Very honest guys, they let me go out in the shop and showed me what all needed done, which is a big plus in my book. They pointed me in the right direction of fixing some things I could do myself then I went back to them for a major repair and they said drop it by first thing in the Morning and 6.5 hours later I had a call to pick it up! Pomps Tires- super friendly, very knowledgeable and good prices.

They were able to order my tires and get me in for a change in 2 days when almost every other place in town had over a week wait. Got me in and out within half an hour even with their phone going off every other minute and other customers being there. Our tech was friendly and professional. I believe Josh was his name.
