No-nonsense service at fair prices. They have rebuilt / replaced engines for us in the past. Today I took in a car with an exhaust leak and these guys fixed it for about 1/10 of what I had been quoted elsewhere. They do good work.

Exceptional service, amazing people, and an outstanding business overall. Im not from around here and Im used to taking my car to a family friends shop. However, these guys (especially BJ) went well above and beyond my expectations, they may even be the deciding factor for why Id stay in Illinois.

Mike and BJ are not only amazing and knowledge mechanics youd have a hard time finding more amazing people who not only care about getting you fixed up at an affordable price but care about you as a person. Ive used Goodes for every vehicle in the family for as long as I can remember and even though they have had to tell me news I didnt want to hear from time to time they have never steered me wrong. They do Auto repair the way it should be done. They are the only repair shop I completely trust.

I love his sense of humor. Everyone at this shop is just absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Ive gone there twice now with my car that had some issues, especially since its the only car I have and Im on an extremely tight budget, I find their prices to be very reasonable. If youre looking for great car repair done by knowledgeable people with a great sense of humor and down to earth attitude, this is the place to go. The best car shop in Ottawa, hands down!

What can I say? BJ, Neal, and Jim took awesome care of us. They worked hard to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem. BJ undercharged us, if anything! If you have a problem, take it to these guys. They are honest and thoroughly helpful.
