Best meat in town hands down, Worth every penny

This place is great!!! Very clean and awesome selection. From their produce to their deli meats to the seafood! Everyone working there was extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice to receive good customer service these days. You are provided a CHOICE to wear a mask, so if you feel that you need one, then put one on! Highest quality of meats and sea food in Oroville that I know of! I speak with authority having been a Chef in the South Bay Area, enjoyed a similar well known market in Corralitos, CA., and I lived in Berry Creek for 10 years so I became a regular at the Wagon Wheel.Yes, we all have money worries right now and at first glance you may think its too expensive but stay with me. I just bought 3 of the marinated chicken breasts for $13.41. Each of these are so plump and big, there is no way that 1 person can consume an entire serving. So, I will fillet these in half and (when its safe to do so) toss em on the grill. Serve 1/2 for dinner and the next day make sandwiches with the other half. For 3 people and 2 meals, this tasty and healthy chicken cost $2.24 for 6 servings. And I have just helped the Shop Local campaign.Thanks for reading!

Absolutely freaking LOVE this place. The best homemade sausages, best fresh deli, the daily soups different sandwiches, and the quality of the products is amazing❤️❤️

Heard the food is amazing here. Came in here one time and the lady at the cashier is rude. When visiting a place for the first time, you want to see and browse what the place has to offer. But nothing but bad vibes here. Got a couple of ugly eye contact from others here too. Place is really pricey.

Beware! Beware! The owner believes its a constitutional right do not wear a mask. Thats like a constitutional right to drive on the wrong side of the road. I counted nine kids under 20 making sandwiches and cutting meat. No one wore masks half the customers did not wear a mask. After paying $20 for food I had to throw it away it made me sick to think I would be eating what they breathe. This was a great place when did they quit caring about older people. I am calling the news it is my constitutional right thanks for caring Wagon Wheel.

Their a little higher price but its well worth it. Everyone is super friendly and will custom cut for you. Try getting that at Wal-Mart. We need to shop Oroville small businesses first. And they make dynamite sandwiches.

Very convenient, family run, community market. They have their own butcher shop. Will take care of your wild game. Make sausage, hot dogs on site. Local produce. Deli sandwiches/soup, for take-out. Staff are pleasant, helpful.My 93 year old WWII vet Mother gives it 2 thumbs up. Easier to walk around than the big store.

I have been going here for years. I visited today to find not a single employee masked. I find this disregard for the public health disgraceful and disappointing. I would not give them your business if you are concerned with your health amid the raging pandemic.

Best place to drop off your dear for processing. Great meat market. Always buy sweetbreads when we visit. They additionally have goose and rabbit all prepared and ready for your kitchen. Great selection of venison salami. Etc.

Today when i went in i was not greeted and was standing there for 10 minutes before i realised the reason i wasnt getting service is because i chose to wear my face mask in a public area... Its sad to see this from a place i grew up stopping by there as a kid with my cousins to get sandwiches when we rode our bikes to the oroville dam.

Paid for a meet pack received a bad tri tip returned it they said come back the next day, however Pat returned my call the next day and told me it was good and he tried it and offered to slice it for me. respectfully i declined.

Best place Ive been in Oroville. Great place to grab food, snacks and of course MEAT all kinds chicken beef pork and wild game. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the owner is awesome. Our corned beef was the best we have ever had this year. I live two hrs. 120 miles from this store but every time im up here I here I have a big list to get from the family.

A great stop on a road trip! Extremely helpful and friendly employees, superb meats and sausages. The bakery has fresh loaves of anything you can imagine, and the biggest fresh bear claws you can imagine!

I just tried their turkey sub on French bun wow so good too sink my teeth into such a perfect sandwich awesome. Ill be back.

I absolutely love Wagon Wheel! All of their foods are fresh and high quality. They have higher prices but you get what you pay for. Their staff is super friendly, they have a great selection of seafood and meats. They also have a deli where you can get fresh sandwiches or hot foods. You can purchase Sees candy from here. My favorite items from here are the Hawaiian chicken breasts, any pre-marinated tri tip, fresh baked breads, artichoke jalapeno dip, and their marinated mushrooms

Recently the owner decided it was ok to not follow County, State and CDC requirements for wearing masks in their store and food preparation areas during this outbreak. Last I checked it wasnt an option. Ive heard several people have reported them to county health. Apparently they dont care about their customers safety especially since many who shop there are elderly. Its sad to see their commitment to service has gone downhill.

Absolutely love Wagon Wheel. Yes it can be a tad pricy but quality always is. Their venison jerky is to die for and the sandwiches are the best. When my family comes for a visit from the Bay Area its known that well be making a stop by the Wagon Wheel meat case and they look forward to it every time!

We were planning a celebration of my Mother’s 90th birthday with a little family get together at our rented Airbnb in Oroville. Having to plan this from out of town, I read some reviews online and then took a chance and ordered a sandwich tray from Wagon Wheel Mkt. I ordered in advance over the phone, being very specific about some items dealing with food allergies that we had to be cautious of and told them when I would like to pick up my order. Our order was made fresh the day of pick up and was ready on time. The sandwiches were absolutely perfectly made according to our requests and delicious! The sweet little gal at the deli counter even carried my entire order out to the car for me! If we have an occasion like this again, I will know exactly who to call for food! Great job Wagon Wheel Market and thank you for your help with our special occasion!

Online/calling is horrible to get salt ect. Your better off to go there, sad to see the town I grew up in dont want to make there customer happy!! 200 miles away waiting over a few days now!! Always getting the run around since the shipping person is busy and the people that picks up the calls are always rude and make up excuses...

Always great service! Be sure to treat yourself to something from the deli. Also, for your holiday meals, family get togethers, whatever your need, their ham and turkey cannot be topped!

I ordered chicken enchiladas that were the worst thing Id ever eaten. Besides costing over $16 for two enchiladas, they were terrible. They should consider removing them from the menu.

This is the best place in Oroville to get meat. I highly recommend the steaks and they have Huge beautiful lobster.

I went to Wagonwheel just yesterday.Upon arrival, I was scrutinized without reason. Distrusted and eyed, while shopping.Purchases over 30$ of merchandise, afterwhich was disrespected by theDeli staff. While your front male cashieracted, in poise et al, like a NightclubBouncer. My experience there was theworst Food Market expeience in my life and I will not return nor would I ever recommend any body else shop there.

I get sandwiches there at the deli once in awhile everything that uses very fresh but for what you pay the sandwiches are pretty small and almost every time I go there unless you order the sandwich exactly how it is on the menu they mess it up somehow
