The wife and I have been here for a year. Beautiful property with nice views of the mountains from anywhere on the property. Grocery store and places to eat within walking distance. During our stay, we have had some good times and, of course, meh times (pool/gym closure due to COVID-19 – but everything is closed. So not their fault). The good times are what keeps us wanting to live here for many years to come. The staff are very awesome and really want to make things right with issues that may come around. We like to give kudos to Vaughn; he is the best. He keeps things running smooth and he does not shy away from working to get things fixed. Example – when we needed an extra key, he did not make us wait until someone from maintenance could do it, he took care of it himself. Maintenance team is good as well, they respond timely (we have not had any emergencies). We wish the floor/ceilings had better sound barriers as the kids above us can be rather noisy with their running, stomping, playing (being kids), but that is life in apartment living.
We love this place! Other reviewers are spot on; Vaughn is awesome. He is willing to help in every possible way. The complex is quiet and very well kept. Out on the balcony it is possible to hear a bit of sound from the nearby pub but that doesnt happen often. Inside, there are no distracting noises. Only once in five years has there been someone parked in our spot and then Vaughn gave me a nearby place to park while he sorted things out. He also carried my groceries up to the door for me. OV is the place to be!
I cant say enough for the staff at Oro Vista apts. In Oro Valley! I moved in 3 years ago and have accumulated more then my share of stuff. Im relocating due to personal reasons and they have been extremely flexible and understanding while I have had to take more time then expected to be completely out. Thank you! The positive memories of my time living at Oro Vista I am very greatful for . There is no doubt I will miss this place!
This was one of the best properties I have lived in!!Management always helpful and friendly.Maintenance always working everyday non stop . Alejandro, Daniel and Melissa omg always smiling while working !Pool and recreation areas always clean !Walking distance to restaurants and shopping center !
Vaughn is the best apartment manager Ive ever had. That dude was the reason I signed for a second year. The maint staff was cool too, and they did good work.Everything else was just fine.
We love it here although its early... But staff is very friendly and courteous. Mr. Vaughn is amazing !!!
There are 3 administrative people that work here, and the two women are just horrible. Their people skills, communication and overall attitude towards people are just bottom of the barrel material. It shouldnt be that hard to get good people to work here, considering where its located. This is absolutely one of the best places to live in Oro Valley, and the price is perfect for the size and location of the apartments. The other admin guy at the front, Vaughn, is hands down the best landlord/apartment manager Ive ever had. The guy really does take his residents seriously, and offers some of the best customer service, attitude and professionalism that is deserving of an immediate pay raise. Hire more people like him.The grounds are always in great condition as well. This place earns tops marks in all categories, minus 2/3 of the admin staff.
Vaughn has been a amazing property manager! Very affordable and nice place and the view is amazing
Was looking for new apartments to move in to this fall and was interested in these because of the positive reviews and location. However, once I saw the prices, I was disappointed. 1300k for a 2bed? I might as well pay that for a mortgage! I understand people leave good reviews because they like it here and (obviously) havent complained about the prices; but that surprised me. I lived in Cali for a year, renting a 2bed for 1400k, so yes I am DEFINITELY shocked to see these prices, for an apartment that isnt THAT nice. I will look elsewhere. But people should elevate their standards and see that these are overpriced and you can do better.
I moved into Oro Vista one month ago and love the property. It is quiet and the grounds are well kept. The fitness center and grills are an added amenity. My experience with the staff has been first rate. Jessica in the office is always helpful and goes out of her way to assist you. Manuel even fixed my ice maker within the first week. It is conveniently located to shopping, resturants, and recreation. The best part is that I can get outdoors ride my bike, hike, or swim and enjoy my time away from the office. So glad I made the choice to move to this community.
I have been living here since January 2016 and it is a lovely apartment complex conveniently located to almost anything you may need (Groceries, Goodwill store, Walgreens, several haircutting places, doctors, restaurants and so much more). We have a new manager and they are very responsive to your needs. The apartment layouts are fantastic with a great view of the Santa Catalina Mountains. We have a sparkling pool, a gym, a clubhouse, outdoor gas grills and charcoal grills, playground equipment, etc. that are always kept clean. The only downside is living right on the corner of two very busy roads in my apartment is located right next to where those two roads meet which can be very very noisy at times. A plaza (with a Chinese buffet, etc.) is practically in my backyard but I have privacy at the same time.I hope to still be living here and will be until the rent goes up to a point where I cant afford it or I need more medical care. Check Oro Vista out - it may work for you! All of the residents I have met and who have come and gone and have been very friendly. They accept dogs and that is a big plus for me since my Furbaby (US Certified Support/Companion Canine) is a big part of my life to say the very least.
My family and I lived at Oro Vista for a year and the property is spectacular! The office team is wonderful and very helpful. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer!
Best place to Live
We moved in from Texas with 3 yr old girl, and for the first week we had no furniture - just bare apartment. The management office had put us in the fully furnished apartment at no extra charge and said we are welcome to stay until our furniture arrives and we settle in.The apartments are just across the little shopping center with grocery store, several nice restaurants, dry cleaners, pizza place, bank ..., there are several very good daycares within 10min drive. Adjacent to the east of the apartments is a golf course and in its backdrop are Catalina Mountains. Out terrace is facing east and we get to enjoy the beautiful view!We love the fact that as soon as we step outside we can go for a run or a bike ride - there are countless paths and trails and parks for running and cycling. Catalina State park is less than 10 min drive away, which offers some great hiking paths into the almost 9000ft heights. Just 50 min drive away is ski center on Mount Lemmon. Is summary, the Oro Vista Luxury Apartment are great place to stay, they have friendly helpful staff, and for people who love outdoors activities the apartments are at the perfect location.
Lived there for almost 5 years. Loved everything about it. I give it my highest rating. I miss it and wish I could live there again.
Beautiful apartments that you pay $1400/month to get woken up by 20 extremely loud maintenance workers yelling instead of talking to each other EVERY morning at around 7AM. They (20 maintenance workers that are constantly being hired/fired) watch you (the resident) very closely, seeing everything you bring into your apartment and when you leave/arrive.......
I have lived here for over a year now and have 2 cars. One we drive daily, the other is a fix up classic car that we have been working on. Well the apartment complex told us that we have to drive daily, and paint our old classic car in order to be able to park it in the complex. I would not recommend living here if you dont go places and move your car daily or if your car isnt up to their paint standards. Im a stay at home mom so I dont go many places, the furthest I go is across the street to the grocery store so its unreal to me the rules they have given us. Also all summer the pool and jacuzzi was dirty and infested with bees. Worst place ive ever lived in my 33yrs of life wow.
I Love my appartment and the views are incredible, especially sitting in our spacious balcony. I just wished now instead of being an appartment i could purchase a unit. The complex is quiet and the staff is always very helpful.Very nice place to live
This complex and the staff are god awful and overall just a terrible place to live. Maintenace takes forever or dont come at all. The staff changes every month and they have no idea what theybarw doing. They just want you to pay more and more money. Theyre ridiculous and a complete joke.
The manager is rude to the residence. There is loud music playing until midnight due to the bar located next door. The gate to get in is always broken. Try and contact anyone when you need assistance with the apartment and it is almost impossible. The over charge for every little thing. Maintaince comes everyday to landscape at 6:30 am and are very loud. When I moved out the did not return my deposit of $850. The manager claimed that the replaced the carpet but the carpet was old when I moved in. The claimed that they cleaned the stove, when I cleaned it very well before I left and replaced all the stove top drip pans with need one ($150). And a cleaning fee of $75.00, when I cleaned it very well before I left.
We moved out in july. we are now in December and we still havent received our deposit which is $50 out of $250 for carpet cleaning and repairs. when during the final walk thru we were told there would be no additional charges. . the office representatives def ruined these apartments for my family. you have to be liked to get your work orders done. 3 weeks to come fix a toilet and change some lights come on.. great location but def needs office improvements! !
Just tell you DO NOT STAY! We stayed for 3months while we are ready to move in new house. We payed $300.00 extra for short stay and payed $400.00 deposit. After We moved out I sent emil to them please give us back our deposit but NO answer. So I went to office then the lady told us we have to pay $436.00.They charged Stove pan which was I bought 4 new pans from home depot and replaced before we moved out and they charged carpet replace also. We were process to move so that we did not use 2rooms and our living style is take off off shoes in entrance. Carpet was clean and no damage when we are ready to moved out. My friend and I were complain but they said call corporation office and tell complain that she told us. OMG! that is so bad! Even I bought new pans and even we did not use rooms.. I never had this kind apart management. Now we will action to fight!I hate if other people will have this kind of same situation!
