I have been filing taxes with safe tax for about 4 years now & this is finally the last year I will ever use them. This company by far is the worst tax service and i do not recommend you use them. They scammed me for my taxes in 2019 and again in 2020. When I try to resolve and talk to someone they say will call back and never do. I have emailed, faxed & called from the ivey lane location to the main office. Absolutely worst service ever. I do not recommend them if you are looking for a legal & professional tax servicers. They have definitely gone down in quality throughout the years, maybe this review will receive some attention from the manager finally.

Extremely nice, knowledgeable, and attentive. HOWEVER, I was charged 600 in fees and was not told that until after my taxes were submitted. In their defense, I should have asked how much I was being charged before agreeing to anything. Accordingly, if you decide to file through safe tax, make sure you know how much the fees are beforehand.

Staff of Safe Tax on Michigan St. are great! Very friendly and professional. Been filing with them for 3 years now! Awesome AwesomeUPDATE: This year is the 4th time I’ve filed with Safe Tax Michigan St. and unfortunately, this is the 1st time that I am highly dissatisfied. I usually file with Vanessa and she has always been great, very professional and I’ve always got my refund back in a timely manner. However, this year for my 2020 return I filed with a young lady by the name of Jessica, who made a few errors while preparing my return. I brought it to her attention and she seemed very unprofessional and uninterested in getting my problem resolved. Due to her making errors on my return and it having to be corrected by the IRS, I ended up getting back less than I was told, which is fine...I want what I deserve not what I don’t deserve. After the IRS corrected her mistakes and notified me of my adjusted amount, I still got back over $1000 short of what I was told what my adjusted amount would be. It’s been a lot of back and forth between the IRS and my bank trying to figure out where all that money went being that the missing amount didn’t match what Safe Tax have on my invoice. This year the Safe Tax staff has been extremely hard to get in contact with. In result I decided to take the loss. Safe Tax has definitely lost a loyal customer. This will be my very last time filing with them.

Do Not allow Vanessa to do your tax return. 1) She avoids providing paperwork to customers before leaving ( big red flag ) 2) She completes paperwork once customer is gone (even bigger red flag) 3) If Vanessa makes a mistake shes not helpful at all!! Im still currently disputing my tax refund with the IRS from last year. Safetax is more like unsafetax! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. Please safe yourself a the trouble and go elsewhere.

I totally dig these guys! I called because my friend referred, and the lady that picked up the phone, I think it was the manager, was super nice! She even searched to see which one of their locations was closer for me, since I was coming from Poinciana.I decided to come to this location because of that. I thought it was just going to be some regular office, but no! Its really nice and they had all the really good 90s music playing and the lady that did my taxes was really nice in explaining the process to me. Im definitely coming back next season.

He told me about he did taxes so I decided to give it a shot for my 2017 taxes. I end up owning money to IRS...BUT Jeff did his work and in the end I DID NOT owe any money!! Do your research Ladies and Gentleman, This company is a scam. They will provide you a quote of how much they charge to do your taxes. Example Quote will be $400.00 then when its all said and done you will be charged $560.00. When you look at your paperwork they will tell you well we took $400.00 however another $160.00 went into a different account for Auto protection and we didnt collect any of that money. I dont know about you but when I ask how much are you charging me I want to be told the full amount. I dont care how much you make and how much goes to another company its all coming out of my tax return I need to know this. I was also sold into doing my taxes and receiving 3 day, 2 Night stay at a hotel of my choice at a Choicehotels. That also turned out to be a scam. I informed the company of how shady there business was and that I would not be sending any money to a company that has 1 star rating. People have wrote reviews about how bad Grand Navigator. Safety is doing business with shady company because they are shady themselves. When I spoke to the Manager Vanessa. She try to act like she cared when really the conversation was more like theres nothing we are going to do for you we got your money and you cant nothing about it. I will NEVER EVER REFER ANY FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO SAFETAX, Nor will I ever have them do my taxes again. Thank you but no Thank you.

This is unlike any other tax office in Florida from atmosphere and vibe to the excellent customer service Safe tax Michigan really cares for their customer and it shows. last year when I needed to file I was in much need for some money and turbo tax was not cutting it. I was fortunate enough to meet jeff taylor and explained my situation to him and he was able to get me back $1000 more on my return

Normally when I go to file taxes I would sit there turn my info in, get my amount and go. But no! I felt really comfortable and at home. She (Rai)was quick and got my max return, more than i was expecting... last year wasnt my best working year.. even provided transportation for me to come in due to my car issue. Got ripped off. Received less money, it was not filled correctly, it is expensive. Had to go to a CPA to submit an amendment. Do not go they will offer you $500 per person that you recommend and fill the taxes with them until then they take it away from you and you’ll never see that money back. The take the pictures of you before you open the envelope for no one to see your surprise face when you find out what they did. Do not trust them. Not recommended at all.

The make you fall in love telling that they only will charge $150.00 for the service.The worst place to fill the taxes. $ 1,190.85 for filing a few personal taxes. The problem is to fall, it is to fall twice. Never again with those assailants. Plus that full of mistakes and let it know that they lack of experience. Novice in tax, but experts in scam!!!1 star because no 0 in the scale...
