I received several quotes for pest and lawn care and Drake was the best experience. Jimmy came out and was knowledgeable and friendly. We had Drake Termite & Pest Control for inside the house and the lawn. We agreed to a bi-monthly service (should mean every 8 weeks), but they started to come already after 5 weeks (with charging every time 78$). They came only inside the house the first time, after that I always only found a bill on my door. Never came into the house again. Needless to say we had the same amount of roaches with or without the service. So I cancelled the pest control.Last spring I also cancelled the lawn service. My grass never looked that bad then it did after Drake took care. Of course they didnt agree they made a mistake...If you want to throw your money out of the window - you can do it without signing up with them.

The sales person in my case John, he is awesome branding and selling Drake. He promised, said give me two weeks and all will be green. First payment of $120 paid which went completely for no use, they did a color dye to show the grass green, did a fertilizer. Agreement for paying is bi-monthly, started first payment on Sep 30, 2020 expecting no bills until Dec 1, 2020 but my Math went incorrect, as Sep & Oct are costed $66 so got a bill for Nov. Finally I will not recommend Drake to any of my friends anymore, as its complete waste of your money and its a joke when they promise to take care of your lawn, grass.

Drake has been wonderful since contracting with them in the past year. All their employees are always on time, professional, and respectful. The office consistently calls me to confirm the day before and are always pleasant and helpful when speaking to them. My lawn is so green and looks so healthy. I was very optimistic when I first signed upWith Drake Lawn and Pest Service. The sales person did an excellent job promising that I would always have a consistent technician that would be servicing my yard. Unfortunately the technician has changed more times than I could count and my yard actually looks worseThan it did when they started. I have had several walk around with the Regional Manager who also made promises that have not be fulfilled. The last visit I had from him he blamed the irrigation or perhaps it was “the lawn mower”. I gave it two more weeks to see if the new technician would correct the brown fungus which was taking over the yard. The new tech said it was dormant and no need to treat. I could go on and on but needless to say the brown fungus has continued to grow and now covers a larger patch than when we did the walk around. I canceled my service today.

SPRINKLERS: Had their service for 2 yrs, tech spends 10 min there and leaves ($80). Dead grass, call office, send out the GOOD guy to fix the sprinkler heads that should have been addressed in regular bi-monthly visits. After having this happen regularly, giving them a chance to be better (again and again) I give up! There techs just ignore the work that you are paying for. FIND ANYONE ELSE as unless you watch them while on your property, its a waste of money

This was the first time using Drake, and I must say I was impressed, The staff agent Cody who came out to my home was very polite and when I discussed with him the issues I was having he was very knowledgeable, and patient in explaining to me the entire exterminating process. They addressed all my areas of concern in my home, and I felt like he was honest and passionate about his job. I have used another exterminator company and I still had the same issues with bugs, and they rushed the job when they came out. I would really recommend Drake to my friends and family.

I would never recommend this company. We specifically stated we did not want a particular service and the technician stated we didnt have to hav it. The company billed my credit card for the service anyway and called us liars and stated my husband signed a contract accepting the service. My husband doesnt have authorization to use my credit card. The company refuses to adjust the fees. I am more than willing to pay for a service I requested but not for something my husband specifically stated no too.I tried contacting them and they became so rude and nasty and argued with me. I requested to cancel the service as the contract doesnt state that I have to be with them for any length of time. I have canceled my credit card and will never do business with this company again the customer service is beyond poor. I would pay higher rates for great customer service.

We have used a different pest control company the past year and felt like we werent getting enough for what we paid.we were still seeing some pests that they were treating for... the technicians this company sent out were inexperienced and young.. we recently switched to Drakes and had our initial appointment today.. Gabe was our technician.. he was wonderful! Gabe was extremely knowledgeable and a very polite and sweet person. Professional and knowledgeable from the start. No used car salesman vibe from the initial inspection/services pitch, all services explained in understandable detail. Furthermore, the pest control technician Elvis, who serviced our home (dry wood and attic termite prevention, outdoor termite trenching, indoor pest control, etc), was nothing short of fantastic. Professional, nice, knowledgeable, patient. I legitimately wish all services technicians that came to my home or that I worked with were as awesome as Elvis. Cant praise the service enough.

Drake asked for positive post for a discount so I would caution the sincerity of the feedback. Drake used to provide great service but they have grown too fast and have let quality diminish. I’ve used them prior to selling to trugreen and rejoined when they came back to the market after their non compete. It has not been the same company. I would recommend smaller companies who are hungry for your business and willing to work with you.

Anthony was wonderful! He came out to our house and walked the entire yard with me, listened to all of my concerns, provided some suggestions and education about the issues, then he worked for two hours mapping out our yard, inspecting the irrigation, types of grasses and weeds we have, and writing up a quote for us. Super informative, friendly and great to work with. He even expedited the mosquito team to come out the next day upon our request. We are very happy with hiring Drake for our lawn needs!

Great to have Drake back in the lawn service business. They were my provider years ago and they were great. So I started up again with them and guess what? They are still GREAT !!! You can play around with other services but there are none better than Drake. If you want a great looking lawn at a good price, call them.

I had two flops with this company this week, so beware. Firstly, I asked someone to come out to remove a wasp nest, perfectly described where it was. I came home to the wasp nest still there although the technician said in the notes it was knocked down. What a scam! Now I probably have to wait several more days to get someone else out. I’m now questioning if they even did the ant treatment I also asked for. Second, for the lawn service I was charged a $75 on top of the $45 a month because of a summer insecticide being sprayed on my lawn. I never asked for this service and when I asked why they did it they said it was in the contract I signed. Ridiculous because the consultant who I signed with guaranteed me it would only be the $45 a month.

Follow up: Today another manager called and was very nice! He said that he will come back and look at our lawn! Trying to solve the problem! We will see and if it’s better I will delete review! Good news Brandon bent over backwards to resolve problems! We are giving them another Chance!

After using nearly every lawn care in the industry I switched to Drake after my lawn service highly recommended them. I figured I had nothing to lose. They were quick to assess and fix my issues. Our tech showed up on time, was given access to our garage, completed the inspection, maintenance and adjustment of several zones. We have been very pleased with Drake’s service.

Worst lawn pest and irrigation service in over 25 years of home ownershipIn response to the owners defense let me state that 1) when we hired drake the sprinkler was in good condition and had no issues. They charged us over $800 to fix the sprinkler that was not broken and broke it so that the lawn front and back was in disrepair. They then charged us another $800 to fix the sprinkler that they broke. 2) After the $1600 lawn sprinkler debacle and after having visited 3 times for sprinkler maintenance we found out that a whole zone of the sprinkler was not working causing much distress to the shrubs in that zone . 3) The boxwoods around the pool were healthy when drake took over. Those boxwoods are now very distressed and Drakes district Manager Brandon has said he is not sure they will survive. 4) The bed of roses and Durantas discussed by the Owner is not necessarily the sequence of events or the true reason for the death of those plants. Those plants were planted six years ago and 2 of the previous service companies when confronted by me with evidence of poor performance by those plants were able to fix the situation. Drake was not able to fix it after been confronted twice and never mentioned the now excuse used for not replacing the plants until after the death of the plants.We both loss in this situation. The pest and termite control contract which I also took from Massey will now be given to someone else and not to Drake. We might still give the lawn and shrub contract to someone else if the circumstance warrants.

Service is very expensive and not effective. Most of my back yard was dead after 3 months. Charged a lot to start the service and added bogus charges as they pleased. $344.00 this month! Will send images of my dead grass.

My husband and I are so impressed by Drake Lawn and Pest Control. From the first time they came out to assess our lawn and give us an estimate to when we decided to hire them to the first time they cam to do our first treatment. They are professional, extremely customer service oriented, on time, responsive, and the list goes on and on. The technician came out and knocked on the door, explained to me what he was going to be doing and then went to work. He opened up his work truck/van that had everything he needed to customize the work needed for our lawn. We brought Drake on a few months ago after using a Colonialtown-based lawn care service. Despite 8 months with that service, our lawn looked like we weren’t taking care of it! If you are anything like my fiancé and I, these reviews supersede ratings or recommendations. Drake was no exception. I searched for hours looking for the right company to service our pest and termite protection needs. Even though Drake has such an incredible rating, the reviews barely did their incredible service justice. We originally got our estimate from Anthony, who thoroughly explained each one of the services, alleviated any health concerns, and the EXACT price that was charged (which is big for first time home buyers.) He found a large amount of droppings that had been missed by our inspector. He suggested Jon for pest control and Cody for our termite drywood and dusting treatment.Jon was thorough and knowledgeable about the droppings found, identified areas where the pests were entering the home/garage, and mitigated all openings. He was extremely professional, kept his mask on, and answered all questions we had.Codi did an incredible job digging the trench around our home and made sure we were fully protected. When dusting inside the walls, he kept the areas he dusted clean and tidy. Cody was also very professional, kept his mask on and answered all questions.We are very pleased with our service and look forward to many years of having Drake protect our home.

I worked at Drake for three months last year. It is a great company, the owners really care about their customers and will do anything to provide great service. Unfortunately, I worked under Vanessa who constantly brought her personal life drama into work and whatever mood she was in set the tone for the day. She was miserable to work with and very unprofessional. When it was decided that she would be promoted to the HR position, I knew I had to leave. Its not a bad place to work but I think the office staff should be reviewed.

I had an irrigation pipe that was broken; I called right before they closed and they were able to schedule the appointment for the next available business day. They fixed the problem and made sure it was functioning normally after the repair before leaving. They even did a minor adjustment on one of the pop up sprinklers that was fed by the repaired pipe in that zone; very pleased with their work.

My grass had different kinds of weed and it had a lot of dry patches, since they started treating it the lawn has improved a lot, now is healthy and beautiful.

I use Drake for my yard. The technician Craig is most informative and always smiling. They treat the grounds at it has never looked better. They have come and inspected in-between treatments to make sure everything is in check and will treat accordingly if needed at N/C. I have used many services prior and always had issues, Drake is the best and I highly recommend!

Very good and reliable service! We got a free inspection and quote, and the person was very kind and thorough in explaining everything our situations and the treatment program to us. We did pest control (exterior+interior) and lawn control services. Both services were done on time and very thorough.Our house interior was full of ants before and after the initial treatment, most of the ants were gone. We had to have them come in a second time after 13 days to do the treatment again to get rid of the remaining ants, and they came to do the additional service free of charge! Athe service guys were very kind and respectful of us as the costumers and our property. The program cost was also reasonable. Overall, I am very pleased to use Drake for our pest control management.

Since using them, my wife and I have noticed a huge difference in bug activity especially around our outside light fixtures which I hate! We purchased a home that Drake had treated for rodents (rats). The salesperson from Drake assured the sellers the treatment policy would be good for one year and would apply to the home and not the owners. They obviously did not treat the home appropriately because a few months after we moved in we experienced an issue. We called Drake to come take a look because the policy information we received from the previous owners. Drake informed us they do not transfer policies or apply them to the home, they apply them to the owners. They stated we no longer had coverage under the plan and would need to pay to have them come back out. The previous owners called on our behalf but received no help. We decided to go with another company for treatment as we dont want to pay Drake at this point due to their handling of this situation and poor treatment of the home.

The initial agreement and meeting was great & Doug went over everything. We thought it was going to be a great service. Well 5 months in, they skipped one of the treatments which I emailed and said they would be out that month, didn’t happen. The next time they came out they barely spent anytime here. I get a bill in the mail to pay, ok I was just going to pay it even though the service was not there. Still getting bills in the mail even after I cancelled service but also got a charge on my account that they pushed through to get the money without my permission. Was hoping for a better experience with this company considering all of the great reviews. Never again.

We have had issues with our sprinklers since buying our home and couldn’t sort them out ourselves. We called Drake and had them out the same day to assess our system. Our service technician was fantastic and listened and addressed all of our concerns. He explained what his findings were and what his recommendations were to fix them and the cost. We then scheduled a time for the service to be completed. When the service call day arrived, the service representative called to confirm the time and then arrived very punctually. He completed everything that was discussed and even took the time to show us some other adjustments he made since our garden stones were preventing good coverage in a few areas. I signed up for a service package because all of the people I spoke to from the first phone call to the service call were professional, kind, and thorough. I recommend very highly!

We had to suspend our previous pest control during the Covid -19 lockdown because I was furloughed. And we were cutting costs that we felt could break the bank. Once I was brought to work, I tried signing back up with with our previous service and they wouldnt give us our original price. At this point we had a major ant problem that the store bought spray just wasnt cutting it. So we called one company and they couldnt handle the problem with 3 visits to the house (Aptive.... do NOT USE THEM!!!!). Our neighbor recommended Drake Lawn and Pest. On the initial quote visit, Douglas was crazy thorough! Explained what our problem was and came up with a custom solution for us and our lawn and home. On the first service visit, our technician was professional and knew exactly what our problem was. I didnt have to go over everything again with the tech. He knew our problem and after 1 visit i havent seen an ant since! Thanks Drake!

I haven’t signed up yet but only because I have to wait to get paid but Stephan came out and did the inspection and was on time, professional and courteous. Wasn’t pushy and was very honest about the needs of my home. Can’t wait to get started! I know Drake is a great company just by seeing the other reviews and by its people they hire.

I highly recommend Drake for any lawn or pest control issues. Chris our technician is very responsive and professional. We had just planted mew sod and with all the rain we had we got “root rot”. Chris applied the appropriate chemicals and saved our grass. We also had some type of bug on some of our shrubbery and he sprayed and got rid of that problem. In the older grass we had a problem with ant beds all over. We were going through so many bags of fire ant killer from Lowe’s. Which would get ridOf it in one place only to have the ants build other mounds elsewhere in the yard. He put down a once a year chemical and we haven’t had a single ant bed since. Very pleased with Drake and Chris. Sometimes he even calls meWhen he finishes the treatment to let me know what’s going on. He always leaves a written report on our door as well.

I am very impressed so far. My initial call was answered quickly and appointment set. The rep arrived exactly as scheduled and explained in detail what he would be doing. He spent about 45 minutes doing a detailed diagram of my property and indicating where he found issues. When he was done he sat down and explained everything thoroughly to me. Honestly I was expecting an outrageous fee but to my surprise it was right in line with my previous service in South Florida. I did call around to a couple other local services that compared in no way to the obvious high standards of Drake. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING DRAKE, You will not be disappointed.

We always receive a call a day prior to service technician visits, as we requested. When I recently had questions about a potential trouble spot in my lawn, the manager Craig called to talk through my options and come up with a plan. I had treated the yard my self, and have had Heron treat my grass. In all that time its never looked as thick and lush as it has since Drake has taken over.Their pest control is top notch. We had ghost ants, the tech came over spent 1.5 hrs inside the house removing and baiting every light switch and electrical outlet we have. ghost ants were gone in just a few days. Now they come over for routine maintenance and we never have an issue.I recommend their Yard & Pest control service to anyone.

Lawn Service company is most responsive to our needs. We had problems with bad sod installed by another company. Drake worked with us to try to solve problem, and then was kind enough to put our service on hold until we had the sod replaced again. Came out to perform service as soon as we called again. The technician will always talk to one of us about what is being done and why. First class company.

From the initial sign up to the actual work performed I am extremely pleased. The sales staff, as well as the technician, were very professional and knowledgeable about their work. My yard was getting out of control and the DIY was not working. Time will tell on the actual change in my yard, but as of now I am very happy with Drake.

We have been using Drake for a little over 6 months now. I waited to review because I wanted to be fair. I felt that we should give our lawn and shrubs time to become acclimated to the treatment provided by Drake. Well, it has so far been amazing. Our treatment specialists Justin and Craig, have done a great job bringing our yard up to the top tier in our neighborhood something we hear from passers-by every day. We challenged Drake at the beginning to see if they could recover some marginal areas that should have been re-sodded due to heavy weeds and thinned-out sod. They have been very successful in doing it. Where follow-up has been needed, they communicate internally and make sure that it happens. Since I work out of my home office, I often see Justin or Craig, when Im here. Even though they must be busy, they have never made me feel like I am bothering when I ask a question or two, or three...Keep up the great work. Thanks.

Very upfront and honest company.

New to Drake but so far so good. Technician is very professional and communicative.

We had an understanding that their technicians would call prior to service, this did not occur. My wife arrived home to find two of their technicians in our pool enclosure spraying. Over the proceeding weeks 6 of our parakeets died. After to speaking to one manager they said no one would ever show without calling my wife, the very next week there is an unannounced tech at my house. The multiple times we called to have a manager call back were never responded to. Apparently the hard things are beyond the management at Drakes.

Tim was very informative about the new termite risk and also pointed out areas that need some homeowner attention to prevent termites from finding conducive entry points to our home. Drake has been our company for 5 years and I would highly recommend them.

Every employee that I have encountered at Drake has been professional, extremely helpful, and amazing polite. Their price is excellent.. they are all knowledgeable and they fixed my grass and my aunt problem!!! I strongly recommend them!!!

Doug came out to do an initial assessment of our property. Being new to Florida we were unaware of the bugs here compared to the Midwest. He spent a lot of time showing and explaining our yard problems. He was very knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with our problems. Great lawn maintenance program! Responsive and very professional. I have used all the big national brand names, but nothing compares to Drakes honesty and affordability!

They have been taking care of my lawn for a year now, and my lawn looks worse than ever. Lots of dead patches that were not there before. Additionally, I was just informed by another company that my lawn is severely invested with webworms. I have tried pointing out these issues to various technicians and the management. They are very pleasant in person, but once they leave there is never consistent follow up from any one and no effort to address the issues. The management does not return phone calls. No one makes any effort to fix anything. They have also charged me for services I did not agree to pay for and literally forged my service contract to suggest otherwise.

Drake always give us great pest control service. They call the day before with a friend reminder. Then our tech (usually Felipe) is always thorough and nice. Felipe seems like he enjoys his job very much. Hes definitely a rare find in employees these days! We highly recommend them for your Pest Control needs.

Drake pest control is hands down the best for lawn care and home pest control needs. Start to finish my experience was well above and beyond my expectations! Craig communicated and explained the entire process and treatment plan for my lawn.
