I simply could not believe the amount of attention and knowledge this team had when it came to attending to my 6 year old. Horses and their grandeur can be quite intimidating for lots of kids, and my son was no exception. I didnt expect him to get on the horse, but after watching another child previously, he hopped right on and felt secure enough to enjoy the experience. What a wonderful resource for those who find horses to be sweet, loving, therapeutic animals for all ages alike. I feel very fortunate to have discovered this great place, and look forward to my sons next ride!
This place is horrible. I told them that I lived 2 hours away and that I had other things to do that require me to do online. The only way I can make my appointment and get my online tasks done if If I come here and do it here, then I will be here on time for my 11 11th oclock appointment. The person helping me that day said it was fine. Fast forward to today. I left home at 530 am. I got here at 724 am. I was working on my tasks online. First, I asked why you are here. I said I already spoke to someone and did not need help. A few minutes later, another lady came and was very rude, asking why I was there. It was clear that they were just harassing me. So I went outside on the bench and continued my online task. They came out and said that I could come early for my appointments. And that they can hear me talking. So I apologized and continued with my tasks online. Then another lady comes out and says I could do my jobs there or show up early for my appointment. I told them that is fine. I will not return at all. It is sad that Veterans come here for therapy and get treated like this.
I live this place!! I am so inspired!
This place us stuffed with books.I always find more than I was looking for.And thats a good thing.
Love it every time I go out there
Great for walking and open fields for workouts
Unbelievably awesome. I cannot say enough great things about Freedom ride. From the administration, to the people who work directly with the horses and guests - they are great. They do such an amazing job here. They do rely on donations to keep up their terrific work. Please give and help them help others. My daughter has been going here for many years. She looks forward to horseback riding day. This is such a remarkable program.
Caring staff! What a great opportunity for those who need physical and/or emotional therapy.
Farrah is an absolutely amazing trainer. I have been doing the mental health workshop, doing ground work with the horses, and in just the two months I have been coming, my anxiety has lessened and Im developing more confidence. Farrah has incredible knowledge about horses and clearly loves her job. She cares about her clients as well as the horses. From the little bit I have interacted with other office staff, they too are extremely pleasant and seem to have awesome senses of humor. For those that need a comfortable environment to work on your mental state, I HIGHLY recommend Freedom Ride. Their horses are fantastic and so is the staff!
Great park for cozy getaway
As a veteran, a volunteer, and the mother of a child with Autism, I couldnt appreciate more the mission and methods of Freedom Ride. Love my Big Boy Gypsy!
Guess its the same place as Trotters park.
This is a wonderful place for therapeutic horseback riding! The staff are unbelievably kind and caring. If you have a child with special needs, you should really check Freedom Ride out!
Excellent Hippotherapy though their 3rd party vendor, LifeSkills. Freedom Ride, however, is not offering it term 1 of 2020. The website still lists it as a service.
Good.
I wanted to take my disabled child there for therapy, so I called to collect information, but after talking to the head instructor and experiencing her condescending, inpatient and arrogant manners, I changed my mind. Her answer to my simple question to what do I have to do to show her my insurance coverage was I have no idea, call your case manager, I have nothing to do with it She also kept calling me hun. I can just imagine how she talks to disabled people if she talks this way to the fully capable. Thanks but no thanks hun
Very nice the horses are beautiful its a quite a learning experience great customer service
I think this is a great place because its where veterans can go and ride horses
Great place to run the dogs.. just dont let them near the horses.
I love this place this is a non profit horse riding place for special needs children. They are also giving also hippotherapy services. There are many volunteers and the staff is great... They love horses and kids and they are so helpful.
Since my daughter started therapy at Freedom Ride, her change has been amazing. The love and dedication that they have for the kids and the horses is great!!
Not free for kids that are disabled even with with the donation they get or with insurance. They only ask for money as form of donations not food for the animals in there website. That is the only thing that they clearly talk about. They should give that same instruction how to get help joining there programs. If they ready want to help disabled kids.It for people that have money. Because most insurance dont cover there high fee of $65 plus. I can even afford it for my child. Most of the link in the website site are down, they dont help Finance or pay for it at all. It all a money maker.
Compassionate instructors that know what they are doing. Have been taking my daughter there for riding classes for the past 6 yrs.
They did not want to help me or give my daughter services because they do not speak fluent English. That is discrimination and racism.
