There are so many great things I can say about Alexis Montero and the service he provided as my IT Consultant. I highly recommend him for all your computer needs. I highly recommend Alexis for your computer needs. Very professional and gets the job done!!!! I have done remote support with many techs in the past Alexis went so much farther and worked faster than any I have ever used. He cleaned my computer and fixed other issues and installed anti-virus software for protection. He fixed my email/outlook problem and deleted old files and cleaned up my whole system!

I have had Alexis Montero as my tech for quite a while now. He is the tech I prefer to have working on my laptop. His knowledge is complete and his suggestions are always the right ones. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Alexis who came out to my home to work on an issue I was having with Excel. It turned out that the virus software I was using was what was causing the problem ( not able to save excel files ). I also had him install a new hard drive on my laptop. He was very thorough making sure there were not any other issues with the computer. I would recommending using Alexis and South Florida Tech Group with any of your computer issues.
SFTG is fortunate to employ Justin. I made an appointment for a remote service for a computer that I thought was dead. Justin arrived on time. Worked continuously. Answered my questions thoroughly. Made suggestions and proceeded accordingly.To my pleasant surprise my laptop is running and performing like it should.Justin saved my computer. Justin made my day!
Alexis did a great job cleaning up my computer and hooking up my wireless items. He made some very good recommendations which I took advantage of and feel my entire home network is in great shape since..Would definitely recommend him and South Florida Tech Group
The tech was friendly, prompt but slow. At 100.00 an hour, he spent too much time looking at his phone. When ever I left him unattended, he went right back to his phone. On top of it. I had the computer set up to boot from an external hard drive, he disconnected it, screwed around trying to do what I already told him the computer would not do. He ended up reconnecting the drive exactly the way I had it but it took him 2 hours to get there. What I needed him too do was too fast so he intentionally made it as if he was doing something that wasnt already done because the goal was 200.00 for the call. Even though I repeated several times to forget it, the computer was under warranty, he still didnt leave. Dont call unless you have no choice.UPDATE: I was told the service would be 100.00 for the first hour, which was insane but it was after hours. For every hour after, it would be 50.00. As I said he stretched it to make b it to 2 hours but they charged me 300.00. Of course I am disputing it! Buyer beware!Another update, the company called me to find out what she could do to make the service experience a better one. She wanted details of what happened and when I told her, she only repeated what the tech told her which is that he knew I was frustrated. At the point that he is aware I you are not happy, wouldnt you cut the call and leave? When I told her how he continually text on his phone while I was paying for his time, she said, she didnt believe that. I told her that I wanted him to leave within the hour, that I told him dont worry about it, my computer is under warranty with best buy and that I would just take it there. I explained he didnt go and continued to drag the service call out so what I would like is for her to refund the 100.00 for the extra hour. She wasnt willing to do what would make the service right. In fact, she wasnt willing to do anything at all. Obviously, a good experience wasnt that important!!Live and learn! Buyer Beware!!! BTW ask yourself how many of those recent reviews are for real because prior to mine the last one was a year ago!

Started using SFTG a couple of years ago to fix and then maintain my computer and they have been great. Their response and service is fast; the staff is polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Aulbrey Forbes set up my new computer and even took away the packing stuff when he left! When we ran into a problem, Greg Gonzalez was very patient and took care of it, even though it ran beyond 5 pm. They dont make you feel like an idiot for not knowing the stuff that they do. Would highly recommend them and I plan on continuing to have them maintain my computers as long as I own one.
Alexis Montero did a good job on my Maintenance program. Alexsis did a great job of cleaning up my computer so that my problem I was having of freezing is no longer happening. He was also very personalble so that was nice as well. Happy Camper now that my system is operating well and I can get back to work !! I have used this company for several years and think their service and value is good.
Alexis was very good and very informative. He showed me that my WiFi is definitely not the problem. He also loaded and configured a couple of security programs after finding that I had a few problems. The only negative was that my home page and a plugin was missing from my browser.
Alexis Montero is awesome. He did the upgrades on my computer on time and it is now better than ever. In to that he solved a worrisome problem with my printer that the HP support desk had been unable to fix after a lengthy support phone call. Highly recommend this group.
Great service. Came out the same day, but that is a premium service.Needed hard driver replaced and had the computer back the next day. I would recommend them.

I Marilyn Word want to thank you for the technician that you sent out to my home to check out the damages that was done to my Flat Screen 42 tv, my desk top computer & all in one fax machine, unfortunately they couldnt be saved. He was able to come in check out each electronic, and to let me know which way I can go as far as repairs, but sence I have a service person I will check with them on the computer. The tv & the copyer has to be replaced. I rate Mr Alexis a 1 - 10 he deserves a 10 thank you.
Prompt online sevice by Greg Gonzalez and onsite service and pick-up by Mike Komienko. Installed Windows 10 on my Windows 7 computer and replaced hard drive with 1 terabyte solid drive. Prices are very reasonable. I sign up for quarterly maintenance--a $100 annual charge. Very satisfied--excellent service.
When in desperate need of getting my computer fixed, or buying a new one, I contacted South Florida Tech Group, to get it fixed, and could not be happier. They sent a tech named Alexis Montero, he found and cleaned so many issues Im not sure how it was still working, besides cleaning it up, he installed a new faster hard drive, I cant believe the difference, going forward if I ever need help again, they are the ones Im calling, thanks again for everything!!!
Initially, it was not a perfect experience, with Millenials vs Boomers. But once the communication errors were ironed out, (with a little research as to how Millenials think and function), these guys are the best! They are extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, and technically trained. They are up on the latest technical knowledge, and will help you through what you think is your worst computer nightmare, but to them is just routine.. They are persistent in problemsolving, and will go out of their way to make it work. I am still mesmerized by the ease at which they can delve to the very outermost boundaries of these devices. They provide excellent services, and I highly recommend them! Again, remember, they ARE, the Millenial Generation!
