Ive used these folks for more than 20 years or both dry cleaning and shoe repair and they have been close to perfect. On the extremely rare occasion when there was any issue, they resolved it very fairly and very quickly. They are very easy to work with in every regard and I am happy to go to them even though there are similar services much closer to me.

Overall, the service, expertise and staff are great here. We have had only one bad experience, yet we do not know what the name of the service staff was that did a terrible alteration, but we still go here. The gentleman who does the shoe repair does a great job, and the (shop owner?) is very outgoing and kind, never had any problem with service from her. Our alterations come back good to great every time except one time, and the dry cleaning is pretty standard, no missing items, all items were ready at or before estimated pick up date/time, shoe repair was very well done. Not a bad location, parking is a bit wonky but there always seems to be enough. The building is nothing special, but its a dry cleaners, not a trendy bar or shop. We have never really seen any coupons or deals, no mailing list or rewards/incentive program, but thats OK, just seems like in the current times that would be a smart move. I would recommend anyone to try it out for your laundering needs and alteration needs, see how it goes.

I’ve been to quite a few dry cleaners in this area. This particular store is hands down the best. I take my clothes and bedding here every other week. The ladies are friendly, professional, EFFICIENT and get the job done. They even did work for me on the spot once when I asked to expedite the process for extra money and they refused the tip.I also had a big issue once, and the owner got involved. He (along with the lady inside) resolved the issue and gained my business indefinitely for h doing it to my liking. Highly recommend. :)

Took in a full length sequin dress that was missing a patch of sequin in a noticable area. Seamstress was able to harvest sequin from the hem underneath the dress and fill in the gap seamlessly! What an intricate job for a fair price. Thank you!!

Growing up we took all our homecoming and prom dresses here for alterations. Now as an adult, I’ve taken work slacks, bridesmaid dresses, and more to be altered still with fabulous results and fair prices. Love the family that owns and runs this place. They truly care. Highly recommended.

I have been a customer of American Cleaners Orlando for over 23 years. They excel at everything they do and provide great customer service. I have forgotten to pick up dry cleaning items for months and not once has anything been discarded. I have had some strange dry cleaning request and they delivered or clearly explained why a request could not be handled. My most recent experience was a need to have 5 skirts built on a very unrealistic deadline. Not only did the get the skirts done, they did a fantastic job!!!Will highly recommend them to anyone.

The Best Dry Cleaners in Florida. The quality of cleaning and pressing is phenomenal. Theres four location and they offer free pick up and delivery from your home or office.

Hi I’m Jasmine a professional seamstress in Orlando for over 8 years also the youngest tailor in the city with lots of experience. My Instagram is @sewjasmine_I was asked by a friend to fill in a few days of work here and my experience was horrible.The micro management by Georgette was extremely uncomfortable. She literally treated my like my work didn’t matter yelled to keep things the same way the space for work was like 3x3 feet per person. She doesn’t know seamstress art and how valuable they are in Orlando and how it’s a dying art.They do not appreciate employees and if you see the conditions of the restrooms in shoe repair it’s Appalling!Margarita has been a seamstress there for 22 years and Olga a few months there . They are much older but non the less master tailors. But extremely under paid. What this business represents isn’t American values.There is no southern hospitality no one! speaks fluent English and the play like they don’t understand when it comes to addressing proper concerns. Old building old ways and are Unwilling to innovate the business.

We took 4 brand new pairs of pants in to get hemmed. They were pinned properly in the store but came back too short.....I sure hope a flood is coming :( I am meeting with them Monday and we will see if they rectify the situation.

DO NOT USE AMERICAN DRY CLEANERS!!!! This place is the worst. They have ruined my clothes I had dry cleaned and their alterations services have increased in price and the quality of work has severally decreased. The people who work there take no responsibility and blame the other works when something isnt right and only say the owner can make a decision about refunds or rectifying a situation, which never happens. The crotchety old lady who runs the place only shrugs her shoulders and says Im sorry there was a misunderstanding. Customer service is non-existent at American Dry Cleaners. Do yourself a favor and do not step foot in this place!

Absolutely disgusting and rude customer service. I didnt think this was each location - but apparently each location is the same. Asking questions about the machines they have, what fabrics and quantities they can handle, and they decided to ask are you retarded? instead. I couldnt believe it. Just abhorrent service. Will never use, now. Will never recommend, now. Stay Away. Go to Seminole Centre Laundramat, instead. Absolutely wonderful people, and a joy to work with.

I had a bedspread washed there and was verbally quote $12.00 to do it. I went to pick up my order and they said it would be $35.00. I pointed to the lady that gave me the quote and she lied right to my face ! Denying that she had quote $12.00! I paid it and will NEVER VISIT That Place again ! Major rip off and they dont care. Beware!

I took my tan leather jacket in to be cleaned the outside was fine just the liner needed to be cleaned and I got it back with black marks all over the left arm and back panel of the jacket asked what happened and they said that the eye had faded.... I dont think a $400 jacket fades when cleaned, they ruined my jacket I will not be returning.

Worst customer service and too expensive! Save you cloths and find another cleaners, they ruin shirts and have no recourse to settle problems.

First and last time. They automatically add a Rush Charge to each item. Thats not customer service, thats customer fleecing.

Very disappointed in my favorite boot repair. No new insoles, only soles. I paid for both. And the polish on leather has cracks, plus the straps were not untied, so the old layers stand out.

American Dry Cleaners has stained and ripped holes in several dress shirts. Manager was rude when I asked about this. Did not refund the cost of cleaning and denied the issues. Customer service is bad. I would not recommend.

I brought my favorite jacket there and when they handed it back to me, it looked brand new! I will definitely go back.

I took 3 pairs of shoes there Casadi $ 1700 Giusepee $2000 Giuseppe $2000 I just took them to get half of rubber sole on bottom so they would not be slippery there was no damage prior to dropping them off I was charged 132.00 which I didnt mind paying because my shoes are high end and I expect a top notch job . Well when I went to pick up the shoes they were in worse condition the 2 suade pair had glue all over the shoewhere the sole was Didnt go so I was upset also my nude cassasi shoes the leather where they sanded or shaped the sole was scrapped right off to the bottom this is the worst place for alterations and to have your shoes fixed and the owner said they did the best they could and that they were the best in town. Total bs the best in town was heelqiuick sew in Florida mall they moved and I didnt know where so I tried this place worst mistake PLEASE STAY AWAY FROMTHIS BUSINESS THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOU ITEMS THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU A CRAPPY JOB

The customer service is absoltley terrible. I have been coming here for 8 years because they had been great in the past. They ruined a suit of mine and told me that they are not responsible for damages to clothing. I understand mistakes can happen and was not mad that my suit was ruined. I asked her if it was really true that they are not responsible for damages to ensure that i heard her correctly and she caused a scene so loud it was embaressing. I did get to walk out with my suit without having to pay but she embaressed me by yelling at me that I was just looking for money to get my suit fixed. Um, yes, I did want to be re-imbursed for the damages. Also, there was dog hair and lint all over my suit. I dont know how the suit got out of the cleaners and into my hands in the condition it was presented.Dont waste your time, money, or good clothing here. Apparently they are not responsible for damages.

Great place to get alterations done..

Went there last Friday to pick up a new pant that I left for alteration and for my surprise they couldnt find it...they keep telling me we will call you back. Extremely upset!!! Think twice before you leave anything there!!! Poor customer service!!!
