This company owns Merrick bank which is a scam apparently. Merrick got my name wrong on a credit card. I called to getbit straight and the first guy I talked to was pretty nice and tried to help. He asked that I fax a copy of my drivers license to the bank so they could get the name corrected. Then I reviewed nothing so I called to check and got very rude people including the manager at the call center. They said that my drivers license was not enough, even though all of the information was EASILY verifiable. They wanted a copy of my social security card faxed to them. I told them no and they were even more belligerent. Then wanted a copy if my birth certificate faxed to them and again, I told them no because they had my legal and valid ID. Then the manager said he was going to just cancel my card and nothing else..NEVER USE MERICK NOR CARDWORKS AS THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY.

Never had a job bring me to tears and make me nauseous. Extreme micromanagement, they even monitor your mouse clicks and how long your mouse has been still and not moving and then write you up for it. The only time I ever talk to my manager is if I’ve done something wrong. I never receive positive feedback for any of my success it’s always a negative interaction. Management only cares about numbers and results and people come second. It’s all about the bottom line. If you want a company you can grow with don’t apply here. You will be stuck in the same position forever and you won’t ever learn anything because any continuation of training here will not happen. If you didn’t pay attention in training you’re screwed. At the end of the day you are just a number. Contrary to the emails they send out (you don’t actually get a real email here) the company could care less. You are Someone who can be easily replaced and you don’t matter at all. My best advice, you’d be happier working at walmart down the road.

I am both blessed and honored to be a part of the CardWorks family. I joined the organization about two and a half years ago and it’s one of the best decisions I have made. The reviews below arent recent enough and are from when the building was new and had that appeal, so of course they will be positive. read the more recent ones. Low pay/salaries and the workload is unmanageable and it just keeps getting bigger with no end in sight. None of the industry standard tools or processes are available to do your job. There arent any departmental standards either and from an operational standpoint is a mess. I am so glad I left.

Ive been anxiously awaiting the opening of this new site, and it did not disappoint! It is clear that a lot of care and effort went into making this a great place to work for all of the employees. Beyond the building and amenities, the people here have been wonderful to work with, and together, it all makes this a great place to come to work every day!
