I have been involved with different dog rescues for almost 30 years. When I found Poodle and Pooch Rescue 6 years ago I was blown away by how much they do for the dogs. This is truly a rescue that cares about the dogs and will do whatever is necessary to make a dog healthy and happy. The pictures are just a few of the dogs I have fostered through Poodle and Pooch Rescue. I love this group and all of the volunteers.

6 years ago my life changed. I moved to Florida. I fostered as sweet dog.. I adopted that sweet dog, and now Bob (the wonder dog) and I are having a wonderful time! None of this would have happened without the wonderful organization...Poodle and Pooch Rescue. Lots of support and guidance helped me and Bob adjust to each other. When Bob developed a behavior issue, PPR, provided some very helpful counseling. I love it that PPR rescues dogs that most organizations might not consider. These sweet babies are given the best vet care and find their furever homes!

They do great work and they are all volunteers. Nobody takes a salary and virtually all of your donation goes to helping the dogs. I also receive regular email updates, informing me on exactly how my donation is helping specific dogs.

Amazing organization! They do everything with the health and welfare of the dog in mind. From the moment you apply, your application is quickly processed and you are assigned an adoption coordinator to help you find the best fit. You get to speak with the foster family, and they answer any questions you may have. And next is the meet and greet. It’s awesome that you can bring the whole family and existing dog to meet the potential pup and make sure it’s the perfect match.Their dogs are happy and healthy and for a 100% volunteer organization they are amazing! I can’t believe they do this on top of their paying jobs and families, it’s so professionally run!

I came in contact with Poodle and Pooch rescue after I acquired my aunts dog after her medical emergency. I work two jobs and was unable to keep the dog. Somehow they came to South Florida to pick up her dog and found him a forever home. I am very grateful to both Pets in Distress and Poodle and Pooch rescues for helping my aunts dog have a great second chance at a happy life and a loving home.

I adopted my fur baby from Poodle and Pooch Rescue in September 2020. He is the sweetest little guy ever! I am so thankful for him.

I have volunteered with various rescues and shelters over the years and Poodle and Pooch Rescue is by far the kindest, most ethical and professional group of volunteers Ive ever had the pleasure of working with every day. Rescue is tough and these volunteers make even the hardest of days easier to navigate. Kudos to this organization and all of the selfless volunteers that work so hard to save those in need!

I cannot say enough about this awesome rescue. My husband and I have only fostered six dogs. All of them were pups in need. Under the guidance and support of Pooch and Poodle, all of them were nursed back to health and given a second chance at life. If you have a heart of gold like all the volunteers, supporters, and adopters at PPR, please consider giving a forever home to a dog who desperately needs you. 💕

I have adopted two pups from Poodle and Pooch Rescue and I would recommend them highly. After adopting my first pup, I was so impressed that I signed up to volunteer for the group. Sometimes when you become more involved and see behind the scenes you can become a bit disillusioned. That didnt happen. In fact, I saw how caring everyone was. I saw how hard they worked to heal the dogs they brought in. I saw how careful they were to not place a dog up for adoption before they were sure they knew the pup was ready. They were always honest about medical or behavioral issues. While I no longer am able to work with them, I always recommend them. The dedication they have is incredible.

Poodle and Pooch Rescue is an AMAZING rescue organization. Not only do they save the senior and special needs dogs from shelters, they take the time to really work with their volunteers and find fantastic permanent homes for the dogs they rescue. We have adopted 2 dogs from this organization and absolutely loved every interaction we have had.

Well I tried go there to see the place and offer my help trying bring products to clean the place for free, dry food, pads and anything they need like a donation for my neighbors. I try find the address and nobody know this place there, in this address. Tried call fir this phone number and this phone is disconnected. Be careful. For me looks like a fraud. My husband want that I go to the police station to ask how we need to proceed, because they ask money donations but the address is fake

This non profit organization is wonderful! If you want to adopt a rescue fur baby then this is the place to go. Poodle & Pooch Rescue take many of the dogs that have been abandoned at animal control either because their owners have passed, require medical treatment or are simply found homeless. They are first vetted and receive all treatment or surgery needed, all vaccines, microchip, dental, ear cleaning/grooming and heartworm or flea treatment if needed. What I love is that these fur babies are not kept in crates awaiting adoption, but are fostered by approved fosters who help them to transition to go to their forever home. I know all this as I have adopted not one but three dogs!

A wonderful group of volunteers and are saving these animals lives. Very organized and professional to work with. I wish I could help volunteer and work with them more! Would trust their word about their animals.

We can’t say enough about what a wonderful organization Poodle and Pooch Rescue is and what a wonderful experience we had with them. We fostered a dog for the first time and quickly became “foster failures “and adopted our foster. Poodle and Pooch Rescue made the whole experience seamless. They made sure they gave you everything you needed for fostering. When we picked up the dog they supplied the food, a crate, leash, bed, and toys. They also gave a lot of support during the fostering.They checked in and made sure everything was going well. They really care about the dogs they rescue. Please do not hesitate to adopt or foster through this rescue group.
