Danny came and did some preventive maintenance today. He is very fast and efficient also very friendly yet professional. Great job.

I spoke with Brenda at Sunshine Heating and Air yesterday to schedule a service call which she quickly did for today between 9:00am and 11:00am.I was contacted via text at 9:00am this morning telling me that the technician was on his way.Donovan Arrived shortly after that to perform a maintenance service call, he explained what he was going to do and answered all my questions.All in all, great company to work with, professional, on time and a really good value that I went ahead and signed up for their preventative maintenance program which includes 2 regular calls in a year and if required in between for any issues, the trip charge would be waved.They came highly recommended by one of my neighbors.I give them 5 stars and would give them more if I could

This company is trustworthy, professional and will do the job right without trying to take money from you. I worked with Danny Obannon who conducted an evaluation on my air conditioner who was installed by another company that i continued to have problems with. Danny gave me an unbiased honest opinion about what should have been done and how to go about getting it corrected. Unfortunately, this industry is filled with contractors and people who just want to do the bare minimum, take your money and move onto the next job. Danny and Sunshine Air are not one of these companies. He was recommended to me from a neighbor who had his AC installed by him. My only regret is not using Sunshine Air to install my ac also. I highly recommend him.

My husband, David, and I were very pleased with their service! They were quick at offering an appointment and were able to arrive even earlier than planned (they did text to make sure we were home). The issue was diagnosed very quickly and taken care of!

This is a very good service provider! They are professional over the phone, and the technician arrived when advised. The technician was professional, and very informative. He performed a servicing of the A/C and covered all of the components inside and outside the house. Reasonably priced. Very impressed, and will have them continue to service every 6 mos.

BE AWARE!!!I never put a bad review in my life, even though sometimes I should have done it . But this time is beyond anything you could imagine. One of my good friends recommended this company for being trustworthy. So I called them to check what is wrong with my AC unit because the cold air was diminished in power. A technician arrived and after he checked, he started to lie. He mislead and scary me that an animal entered under my house and made a mess with my ductwork and it will cost me $2700 for fixing it. I asked him why it costs me so much. He said that they have to dig and change the ductwork. I said why they have to dig if the house is not on the ground, being a mobile home. He insisted they have to do it, which is totally absurd because nothing is under the ground. So I trusted him and asked him if there is any way to fix it and not to cost me so much, because of my financial situation. He was very firm and told me that it is a big job after the animal caused that damage. A friend of mine was present in my house during this conversation and she will testify in court that everything I said is true. So I paid $1400 in advance for them to come the third day . Fortunately I was home when they came to repair it and I entered under the house with the technician to see theBig Damage . Practically it was just a 5 minutes of work, to tied up the ductwork on the vent with a plastic tie. A small portion of the ductwork popped off from the vent. Everything else was perfectly intact and clean. I have pictures with everything. Being under the house and seeing all the Big Damage, I was talking on the phone with the owner of the company, explaining that $2700 is kind of ridiculous for 5 minutes of work and he started to contradict me and saying that is not only 5 minutes because the first technician saw a Big Damage, which the technicians at that moment disagreed with that and fixed it in 5 minutes and of course they didnt have to dig anything, because everything is above ground. So can you imagine, if I didnt check myself under the house to see the Big  Damage, I would have ended up to pay $2700 for 5 minutes work!!! The second day when I talked with the owner (Danny), told him about how stressed I was with everything and questioned $1400 that I  gave in advance ( even though I requested the itemized bill with labor and hours to technician, which I didnt receive it!), he said that the animal could have been in the ductwork and poison my house. I told him and the first technician also, that the animal entered under my house more than a year ago and left the second day, after I put Irish soap bar shredded in the hole. Just think how odor could have been in my house after more than a year, sitting in my ductwork dead or alive. So yes, I was ripped off and I hope nobody will experience the stress I have been with this company. Now you can decide if Sunshine Heating &Air Conditioning is trustworthy for calling, if you have issues with your AC. Sorry for my grammar.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have actually used this company for 20 years and bought 2 new units. I have always been impressed with the way they always arrive on time, take their time, they explain everything, and they listen and answer questions honestly. They lady who runs the office, Brenda, is fantastic. If I have questions or am unsure about something, she will find out the answer for me. I am a single female who owns her own home and this company is absolutely essential to me. Thank you Sunshine Heating and Air Conditioning!!!

They were professional and on-time. We had them install a new Trane system 4 years ago and its worked great. They recently came out to perform a maintenance service and we will be getting new ductwork soon. Ill update once that job is complete.

We rent a house and our landlord uses Sunshine for AC and heating needs, The condenser failed and Brenda in the office was kind enough to search for a new part, the tech Mark returned that very day and installed it and once again we had a cool home. We cant say enough positive things about this company because for the 9 years we have been here their customer service has always been above and beyond.

Had major difficulty solving my a/c issues with two other companies in my area who tried to up charge immediately, and beat me for money.My unit was still under warranty for parts but it was up to me to find the right company for the labor.So, I contacted *Sunshine Heating and Air Conditioning* whom I shouldve called in the first place.Sunshine was honest, fair, and upfront with pricing, and handled all my warranty issues...once they did their diagnostic test, we agreed on labor price...There were no hidden fees involved, or falsely finding problems in my situation to add to the bill.Sunrise sent over the right service HVAC guy who is also the field supervisor for their company...This set very well with me...knowledgeable was what I needed...He was on time and very professional, and in the same breath, he has a sense of humor...Me being extremely frustrated, this humor calmed me down, knowing that if he wasnt worried, then neither should I...(Ted Duarte) was the guy they sent to my property, and Ted knew exactly and what to do, and without hesitation...He walked me through the entire process, and assured me that he could get me up and running soon... A/C wasn’t blowing cold, had appointment and told me I needed a whole new a/c system to the tune of $6000-$8000 after barely looking at it. I got a second opinion. Turns out I only needed a $220 capacitor. That’s it! Buyer beware. What a scam.

I bought an AC from them 8 years ago. Ive been happy with the purchase and installation. I had mold grow in my AC this year, possibly due to water damage from a neighbors broken pipe. Sunshine helped me uptain a great loan to help me with the removal of the mold. I hope their good service continues.

We had a very good experience w/ Sunshine H & Air. Knowledgeable beyond most, priced right and honest. Staff turnover is almost non existent w/ most employees there over 7-10 years. That says a lot!! Its a comfortable feeling seeing the same faces when coming for an issue or just maintenance.

Three things we desire from an air conditioning company:1). Correct diagnosis (no add ons), 2). Honest and Fair pricing,3). Prompt work that is well done! Sunshine Heating and Air met all three. Plus a nice owner. We are staying with them.

Had a new AC installed summer 2018 at my rental. They installed it very poorly as it has stopped working/blowing cold 2 times in 13 months. Both times they at least admitted fault in improper installation. However, the second time it went out they took 3 days to get out to the house. I am not happy having to send I apologize gift cards each time.

Wes and company rock.This is the 3rd time I have used Sunshine and Ive been very satisfied every time.My air went out on the hottest day of the year and Sunshine had a tech out here in a couple of hours.The tech had me up and cooling in no time ... At a great rate too.Truth is, the tech could have told me I needed to replace the compressor and I would not have known any better.A couple of parts and were good to go.Thank Wes.

I just had Ted out from Sunshine Heating and Air for maintenance and service. Ted did a thorough job on the maintenance and add freon as our unit kept freezing up. He fixed several issues and gave our unit a clean bill of health. I was so impressed I signed up for their annual maintenance agreement and will ask for him again. Thanks for doing a great job. You were knowledgeable and professional. That is one good employee!Follow up 2020: I highly recommend this company. We ended up replacing our system. As the evaporator coil sprung a leak. It was a older unit. So we opted to replace instead of trying to put a bandaid on it. They did a great job. They moved our unit from the garage floor to overhead to free up space. It has been working perfectly. Brenda and Ted are the best!! Thank you for your follow up and professionalism.

They service the AC units at my place of business and we couldnt ask for better service. Always show up quickly and every technician has been kind, courteous and knowledgeable!

On Tuesday March 15, 2016Never will call them again.If you ever called them ask for a written estimate.Ted showed up to my door very friendly. He took 5 minutes to detect the leak and said it will cost $200 to get fixed.I asked him how much will be for the Freon and said between $200 to $300.He already has been working as Tech for long time fixing air conditioners.He gave me an educated guess.He took around one hour.The bill was $771 . $79 for diagnostic $200 for repair and $492 for the Freon.I was misled.

Unfortunately this is a negative review regarding services from this vendor. Air conditioning unit was installed last year. Started having cooling issues so we had another company come out to inspect issue. The Dri-Cleaner refrigerant filter dryer air flow had been installed backwards. There were gaps around the ducts and the wall. So many other issues also. Even the unit itself wasnt what we thought we ordered. A3 ton versus a 3.5 ton. So many problems. And its a straight cooled system not cool and heat.

Ok so our AC stops blowing air. First technician comes out and it seems like he doesnt really know what hes doing. Ends up telling us we have to turn off the AC completely for a coil to defrost and theyll come back the next day. Next day comes and a new technician doesnt even know why hes there, so we have to re-explain whats going on and that they had us turn the AC off to let a coil defrost. This guy is actually competent and finds that we have a refridgerant leak, not only that but he finds the exact location which was great, only bad thing was since we are renting they had to send it to our management to get the repair approved. Fine enough. So another day comes, have the repair approved, and the FIRST technician we dealt with shows up and is completely unaware why he came!!! We told him about the leak and he just said How am I supposed to fix that?. WHAT?! So he leaves being absolutely useless and incompetent, and we have to wait ANOTHER day to get the AC fixed. Note that its summer and the inside of our place is at 92F!! Theyre supposed to send someone to ACTUALLY FIX IT tomorrow. So I guess well see how that goes. If you like being without AC for 4+ days due to this company, I highly recommend them.

Our rental property business has used Sunshine for over 20 years and for the most part it has been a good relationship. However, today I have ended this business relationship over what I feel was an inflated invoice and the condescending attitude by one of the owners.

Joke of a place, wouldnt even give them a call. $75 just to come take a look when all I need is a new circuit board. Waste of my time.

After 16 years, the inside unit died, and the outside unit had to be replaced for the 3rd time...I looked for estimates (4 companies) and Sunshine Heating & Air was the runner up.The price was the best for Trane equipments we chose. Bob was very helpful and provided us with options without pressuring us in any way.Their estimate was 2% lower for the same services and exact same units (inside and outside - 15 SEER - V/S - be careful and consult Trane .pdfs online). But we did not go with them just because the price was about the same, and we had an account already open with Lowes - we did not want to apply for another credit line with a local community bank.But I would consider them - as for other unit combinations (not our choices), they had much better prices than the other companies, including Lowes contractor.Hope it helps.
