Our technician, Ricky, was friendly and professional, he took the time to speak with us about how the unit had been working the last few days and told us everything he checked for us as well letting us know what the cause of the issue was and best maintenance to prevent it in the future. Our rather elderly AC system shut down on a Saturday night. I called Our Place, and talked with a gentleman who suggested a possible quick repair we could do and set us up for a Sunday maintenance call. His suggested repair worked, but that was the factor that prompted us to have a new system installed. John Gross came out and spent several hours checking our system, taking temperature readings, and measuring the areas that would be serviced. His quote for a new system was quite a pleasant surprise. Got a quote for a new AC unit that even with the gold discount was well above a more reputable competitor (by $2k). Canceled our install and it was handled very unprofessionally, including threats of making us pay a restocking fee of $275 which is nowhere to be found in their contract documents. I had an appointment last monday 08/16/21 for a checkup which was performed on time.I bought their uv bacteria protection light to be installed and also a surge protection outside totaling with a member discount of 240.00 and left to pay 560.00.I was told they would call back next day to schedule appointment i waited two days for appointment and no one called. I called them to make an appt and told them their customer service was not very good and that i was a member of theirs and that i put money down for a service not done. They scheduled me on monday 08/23/21 for 8-10am appt.They never showed so i called and told them why is this happening ?They assured me today they will come between 12-2pm or 3-5pm so i picked 12-2pm and they called back appologizing on giving that time and that they only had friday 08/27/21.I want a refund for all the money i put into my air conditioner and paying 495.00 for being a member of this place i expected they would work with me on the 560.00

Jason completed our semi-annual maintenance on our existing A/C system and did an excellent job. He was very thorough and provided me with several options to correct issues with the existing plenum box and filter type, which are creating excess pressure in the unit and may result in system failure over time. BUYER BE WARE! My ac unit was working fine and I hired these guys to perform seasonal maintenance. AC didn’t work after that. Turns out they blew out the compressor and let out the coolant. James kept bugging me to join their ‘club’ for $10 a month. I guess he was creating future work. SABOTAGE!

I have dealt with many air conditioning service companies over the years, especially in the harsh environmental conditions in Florida. To date, Our Place has been the most professional and most efficient at solving my A/C problems. Today, my technician was Juan C. and I wouldnt have any other technician from this date forward. He was very efficient and knowledgeable and quickly located and solved problems with my home system. I highly recommend the company and Juan C., in particular, if you want great service and professional expertise.

We called “Our Place” because we needed an inspection of our AC unit to sell our house. An employee came out and was very professional and responsive. He took pictures and verbally explained them to me and guaranteed we would get a detailed report of the inspection that day. We did not get a detailed report. We called the night of the service and got someone who just sent us an invoice and some pictures without explanation of what those pictures mean. We talked with the employee the next day and he said they don’t give detailed reports. He said we could put him in touch with the buyer and he would explain the pictures himself. This is not acceptable. Neither can I just send the buyers a bunch of pictures without explanation. We did not get what we paid for, which is a detailed inspection report of our AC unit. We would not have even gotten the pictures if we hadn’t called and inquired about not getting a report. After this experience, it makes us wonder if what he verbally said the pictures meant was true. Why not put it in writing?

Stay away from this company, please.I have a pretty poor experience with this company. I needed AC service and John promptly showed up. They were able to get the AC running. However the entire time I felt like I was being sold a bill of goods. Moving into a new home, I needed to have a regular maintenance system so I opted in for one if their packages for service as needed. Fine, no big deal.The biggest issue that I had was replacing the air filters. They are a unique size so I was unable to find them online quickly. Our filter was damaged from water damage and I was afraid that having it in too much longer could cause more damage to the system or be unsafe. I bit the bullet and ended up buying air filters through them, $199.99.Once they were delivered I noticed that it was from a local company, Air Filters Delivered. I send their customer service an email and get a link to filters, they are MERV 8 for 10.64 a piece. Six of them (replaced every 60 days), is $68.64. Their technician charged me $199.99, almost triple, the cost of the filters just to make an order with this company.Im not happy and if this is how they do business I assume they are deceptive in their other practices as well.Responding to the Owner:Your plans are bogus. The fact that you are upselling it to me when if you look in your system you could know that Im a Platinum member would showcase that for you. Besides, even with this package I still had to pay $200 for these filters that were supposedly included. Attempting to justify the fact that you are charging a markup of 300% to cover business expenses and overhead is a complete disappointment and further proves that this company should not be trusted with your air conditioning.

Not on time is an understatement. Not only did the first person who came to give us a quote tell us the AC problem was our ducts only to find out the tech who came out told us we need a whole new AC system as well and duct repair likely wont fix the issue. On top of their incompetence the original timing of the ducts was supposed to be 3 days, but now they are telling us it will not be done for 7 days but yet they do not show up until 11 and leave by 4 everyday. Meanwhile we are not allowed in the house and have to relocate for an additional 4 days. Will be cancelling all services with this company. No idea how this company has 5 stars.Update: Eddy the project manager made sure they were done in 5 days. Because of his Ability to accommodate our needs I changed it to a 3 out of 5 stars. Still a little upset that they are not able to plaster or paint for another week so we are left with minor gaps in the walls at the time being. Their cleaning service is superb. She alone deserves 5 stars.

Jovan came out to our home Tuesday Dec 14 do our routine maintenence every 6 months and coincidently has been to our home before. He is extremely knowledgable and alway goes the extra mile. Unfortunately our AC game out on that visit and he found us a GREAT deal on a new unit.Leslie came through putting the new install in the books with the trouble of have the old unit give out completely. she is super kind and eager to help.Two days later we had Cristian and Moises do the new install that included a new return box in the garage and their craftsmanshipp was superb. Even though they took longer than expected it was not for a lack of efficiency nor urgency. they left at almost 10pm and the work exceted our expectations.Thank you to the Our Place Team over all, but especially to those team members mentioned above. They are not the cheapest option, but THE BEST by far! (btw they arent the most expensive either).

Ive been a customer with Our Place for about half a year and will probably continue being a customer, theyre always very up-front and transparent about things and will work with you. They take pictures before of what the area theyve inspected looks like, and of what it looks like after they do their work. The technicians are always professional and do great work. Anytime they schedule you for a time window they either show up a little earlier (no complaint there, I believe they called me about that though) or within the window they claimed. I would recommend this company to anyone who cares about quality and transparency and just needs their A/C situations resolved.All the equipment Ive seen them bring to replace parts on my units (I have two) have always looked brand new and/or come out of a brand new box, I mention this because Ive heard some companies reuse parts to make their services look enticing price wise around town, not these guys, if you want quality go with them.
