I had them installed a new unit air handler about a year ago and have it wired toes Smart thermostat. Had a error message failure to communicate with Air handler. After waiting 1 Day they were able to find and replace a circuit board and have me back And running that Day. Parts And labor wás covered except for The service call. Just a Note keep up with the regular maintenance and have them come out once a year

Tried to get a tune- up for my ac unit since June 2021. The tech cancelled being in front of the house due to weather. Which it’s agreeable due to the raining conditions. Rescheduled, after Reschedule. Today August 17th 2021 two month after still rescheduling. Is this the new form of doing business? A simple task as a tune-up. I will not recommend this company for anything. I should have known this is actually the same company who did my unit as well. I also have to tracked them down to finish the job one month after they replace the ac unit of my house. Unacceptable.

Made an appointment to have a diagnostic check for A/C repair and was told I had to replace both the compressor and the capacitor. $900+ charge for repair so I decided to get another company to do an estimate- the second tech replaced the capacitor and I was informed that nothing was wrong with the compressor that would have been $600 alone, in addition to wires on my outdoor unit being left unplugged and/or put in the wrong spot. Definitely glad I decided to go with someone else on this one.

Armando did a great job from start to finish. We were having issues with a clogged AC, and he arrived on time and was very professional and fixed our problem in no time. The pricing was fair and cheap compared to other companies in the area. Well definitely work with them again!

The tech was one-time, courteous, professional, and friendly. He took the time to explain everything he was check as well as the results. There was no push for additional services. Our unit is less than 2 years old and still under warranty (through the manufacturer as well as the company that installed it), so I was not concerned about any problems.This was just a preventative maintenance AC service required to maintain the warranty, and the special offered through Home Depot was too good to pass up.

I’m aggravated. I had my entire HVAC system replaced with ARS. At first they were super responsive. However, when the city inspector came to inspect my system it did not pass because the venting for my gas furnace is going into my attic instead of outside. This is a dangerous situation because of carbon monoxide. Jason from ARS came to “look” at it because for some reason nobody told him what needed to be done. Amy from installation has been continuously brushing me off. I have sent emails and text messages to customer service and I have been told that my complaint was forwarded to the GM. Still no response. It has been 6 months since the install and still hasn’t passed code. I’m not sure what to do next. I will call the various numbers that are being given on other bad reviews in response, and update my review if they actually “make it right.” I’m sure I will get the same robotic response as everyone else is getting—to call their quality assurance, which appears to be several different people and several different numbers. (Elizabeth, Jennifer, or Betsy).Update as of June 18, 2021Quality Assurance finally helped, but it took another series of phone calls before I got an appointment.Jason finally showed up after another two no shows. He does a great job when he actually shows up.The final inspection by the city was scheduled on the same call mentioned above. However, nobody showed up from the city on the appointment day. I called the city and they said I was not on their appointment list. I called ARS and the said they would call me back to set up another appointment. Now 2 weeks later and still no call. I keep calling and leaving messages. My install was the end of January and now it is July 1st. Still is not finalized.

Unfortunately, we have needed emergency HVAC services twice within the last 6 months - once at 2am on a Saturday and 7am on a Sunday. ARS is literally the only one who provides RESPONSIVE emergency service. Every other company that I called, either has an answering service or you have to leave a message and wait for a call back (which likely won’t happen till normal business hours). Todays tech was Ali, super professional and knowledgeable. The after hours service fee isn’t ridiculous either- definitely not price gouging! 100% would recommend this company. Thanks again for saving us.

First the technicians failed to install the allergen system, did not even have it on the truck, it had to be ordered and come back to install the system. The above attic flow was not sealed off sending hot air from the inside unit throughout the house, and covered the inside airflow unit airflow with plywood. Spliced the wires from the outside air conditioner unit to the inside unit and leaving exposed wiring from the outside and inside. Even after several attempts through phone contact, leaving messages for return calls, and via emails, the permit team did not come and inspect the job. Failed to inform me that our attic venting was no good and needed replacing. The technicians sent to our home did not speak English making it impossible to communicate with them and answer any questions of concerns. This entire situation has been going on since the day of installment in July of 2020 until now July 2021 with unsatisfactory results in meeting customer satisfaction. In no way will this household use ARS Services for any future home improvement projects. ARS did not mind collecting the $8,000+ for the job, and not to mention the additional $1,200 we ended up paying out to another company to repair what ARS failed to do so, because ARS failed to return my phone calls/emails while the newly installed unit continue to run harder than it should have leaving $200.00+ monthly electric bills. ARS thanks but no thanks for your services.

My husband and I were having experiences some issues with our thermostat where it would it be set to one temperature and then change it by itself to another. Harland came out and checked everything from the thermostat settings, to the wires outside and the wires inside and explained in detail what he was looking at, how this correlates with that, etc. it was very helpful and easy to understand what he was saying! He took his time and left our house back on COOL again! Highly recommend him to come out for service to your home!

VERY DISHONEST, THEY TOOK AN ADDITIONAL $2,000.00 FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.IN ALL MY YEARS OF DEALING WITH COMPANIES, THE ON HAS TO BE THE WORST BY FARWhen I contacted them about this and trying to get my money back they are giving me the runaround.My next step is to report them to the Better Business Bureau and take legal action to retrieve my money. Very Dishonest!!!! In addition I was told at the end of the installation that a technician would return to replace the breaker, so far that has not been done and I have heard from no one about it nor has an inspection done.Update: This incident happened on August 6, 2021 and as of today, September 15th 2021, after speaking to numerous persons at ARS, they still have not refunded my money ( $2,000.00). STILL GETTING THE RUNAROUND!.

Each individual in this transaction was extremely professional and did nothing except foster trust and competence.Dean Grant explained in detail the expectations and results of each test he administered. Gary Baker was very thorough in explaining the warranties and safeguards of dealing with ARS (home depot). The tech was courteous and on time. He also showed the testing results and is the reason for the three stars. However, he didn’t do anything as he said that the system is too old but he recommended replacement. He gave me an estimate of how much is to replace some parts but won’t fix all . I have no issues with my AC or high power bills. I think the only reason Home Depot which subcontract ARS for AC services gives you the $9 promotion is to sell you a new system which are way overpriced.

ARS was very quick and responsive up through installation. I had my new a/c unit installed back in the fall. Installation technicians mentioned they would have to come back the next day to install a new breaker. When they came back, they informed me they brought the wrong breaker and said “I am sure it is ok, but we will see what they say in the inspection”. My inspection was scheduled shortly after, but nobody showed up. I spoke to a Leonard Clements who informed me nobody showed up due to Osceola county not doing inspections due to COVID and informed me he would be in touch in the coming months.I tried reaching back out several times to get an update with no response. 5 months later I receive a certified letter in the mail explaining that I needed to schedule an inspection due to an open permit with the county. I spoke with a Nathalie to schedule the inspection this past week, 8 months after installation. The technician from ARS mentioned he “had no idea what he was doing as he has never done this before” and later told me the inspection failed due to a bad breaker and that ARS would be in touch. I have yet to hear anything and have reached out several times to determine next steps with no luck.I am extremely disappointed with their service and lack of follow up. They promise exceptional service but clearly that stops after you swipe your card and get the product installed. I would proceed with caution as a new a/c is a costly expense. I have also informed Home Depot of my experience as I was connected to ARS from their installation department.

From what I can tell, this is the only AC service that has staff smart enough to do ductless AC. None of the mom&pop shops in my area would even consider ductless. Shame as it’s far more convenient, better value, and less maintenance. Plus, if a unit goes down, it’s just one room. (Ductless compressors are far more dependable than they were a decade past.) One call and ARS is out, typically the same or next day. The staff were well spoken, savvy in diagnosing the problem, and courteous in their treatment of the house and occupants. I’m very happy with ARS/RR.

I was referred to ARS by Home Depot and literally had someone at my house an hour after first calling Home Depot. The salesman listened to my needs, quickly found the appropriate unit and arranged for an install the following day! The install crew was friendly and did a quality job on the installation. So far, so good. Then things fell apart...The install crew ran out of time and needed to have a tech come to finish one last thing. The following day came and went and nobody showed. I called the office and they didnt know anything about it so I scheduled an appointment. Again, nobody showed or called during the time window. I tried a second time, again nobody showed or called during the time window. Finally, I insisted on the first appointment the following day, that time, the tech showed up but at 10:30! So, I had multiple days of sitting around the house waiting for techs to show up. They did a great job when they finally arrived but there was terrible communication from the office. Its crazy that these businesses think that customers have nothing better to do than wait around until its convenient for them to show up. I understand its hard to be exact with times but its not hard to communicate and they failed miserably to provide any information.Same with the inspection. During the install, they asked me to pick two days for an inspection but never called to tell me which one it would be. Again, I was forced to wait around until I could finally get an answer. Calls from the person responsible for inspections were never returned.The last issue was that they processed the transaction incorrectly with Home Depot. Instead of giving me the 24 months same as cash offer, a bill from Home Depot showed up. Weeks later, Im still waiting for this to be resolved. Phone calls to the accounting department dont get returned, escalations dont work, and the problem persists.In total, Ive easily made over 20 calls to the office and most of those are because previous calls werent returned. I reached out to the General Manager and he never called back which is a clear sign they dont really care about fixing their customer service issues. Thats too bad because their customer service is destroying the good will created by the nice work of the sales and install teams.

He spent a good amount of time figuring out why the air was leaking and worked diligently to fix the problem, making sure to check more things along the way also. Ars had installed my a/c unit new a few years back, and we have never had any problems with it. We had a technician come out for a tune up.The technician Pedro was super helpful, and sincerely knew how my system worked and how to maintain my system for many years to come, he gave me a tune up and suggested some great upgrades that will keep my a/c system running perfect with no problems. He seemed like a trust worthy stand up guy so I requested that he be the tech that came out and install my upgrades at a fair price. I will definitely call them again for future a/c needs

The tech came out and said I needed an new compressor due to a shorted out wire on the capacitor. He said he could install the compressor for $4500! First of all, I had a second opinion and found out there was nothing wrong with my compressor! The other company simply fixed the burnt wire and everything is running fine. Second of all, compressors do not cost $4500 installed. Rip Off! ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!

I usually do not post reviews, but have to say Gary B was our salesperson, he was knowledgeable and patient with us as we took 2 hours of his time deciding on the best system for our budget. He was able to get us financing with Home Depot that we could afford, he was kind and respectful to keep us safe during COVID since my husband is a Disabled Veteran and deaf, Gary patiently repeated his words and explained every step in detail as to what we were signing. I fell out of my seat when my last power bill came in at $530. We immediately suspected the heater was to blame. A wonderful tech named Carlos came out to inspect our AC and he was able to help us pinpoint exactly what the problem was and offered a lot of advice in addition to that to make sure the AC runs properly in the future. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful Carlos was. This is true quality and we chose the right company with ARS Rescue Rooter!

ARS installed a Carrier central air conditioner/Heat pump for us, they are the sole installation company for HOME DEPOT. After a few bumps, bruises and miscommunications Ed the general manager went above and beyond to make sure our system was in tip top shape! James was the first in to save us a few times and then they sent the service manager who with another employee got us up and running and saving money!

Found them through a salesperson at Home Depot. HD even gave me a $50 off coupon. It was $99 for a diagnostic. Nice repair man promptly came out. Turns out it was my capacitor. They charged me $358 to change it. Took 10 minutes. 4 screws, pop off 3 leads. Found the part online for $28. What a mega rip off even with $50 off. Lesson learned.

Called twice: got answering service, possibly dispatch but sure felt like an answering service since they had no clue what was going on with how soon Id get a call back. Never a call back despite a website littered with promises that they operate 24/7 and can schedule immediately.Bummer that it was 2:00 a.m., but if youre going to advertise you do service at those hours, you need something better than an answering service, and you need to be calling people back.Seems like that would be really important for a service that helps stop sewage from backing up into peoples homes. Duh. Failure of the worst kind is to ignore a customer which is precisely what you did to me despite my calls and your promises.I called a competitor who scheduled it with me right on the phone. They were out within 41 minutes. You never even bothered to contact me back and since I run my own PBX, I would know any attempt to reach any of the numbers that I left with you, by any method whether phone, fax, or text.I got total silence from you and its just good that I called a competitor immediately when I realized youre answering service didnt care and they were likely leaving messages for people fast to sleep who werent going to even contact me the next day or the day after that.Should be Zero Stars to reflect zero service, but one star is the required minimum so thats all you get. Absolutely abysmal.DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS COMPANY TO COME OUT. CALL A COMPETITOR INSTEAD. SEE OTHER ONE STAR FEEDBACK WITH SIMILAR EXPERIENCES.

Amando came over 6/2 does tune up while I am working compressor on outside my office window where my desk faces. He is at the compressor and suddenly I see a spark power surge all my lights flickers run out to see and ask him what’s going on what did you do. Then I look at breaker box he never took the breaker bos off and said he was checking amp amp etc. I told him should you not be taking that breaker off you could of ruin something with that power surge! He states you telling me how to do my job I been doing this 15 Years unacceptable I go. Back to my office to work then eventetually comes in the house I meet him at the kitchen writes up the ticket then says I have a burned electric contractor then writes 317 to fix something that was not burned 3 days ago cause the capacitor was change the previous Saturday no issues take my card to charge me writes it on a piece of whitepaper have the house Camara recording him writing it down get a text snd call from my bank the next day fraud alert to call 411 Home Depot and I said I did not go out buy anything then 2 other on line charges that where declined. By my bank this guy talked about how he worked for Home Depot and being a Christian then it clicked my information was compromised bank card frozen and canceled the next morning I called corporate and the ars office no call to day also told them this is a felony unprofessional to call me back I still have not received a call back called both back next day saying I was going to have the bank dispute the charge horrible service what kills me is that talks about being a Christian and does fraud in my card keyed it in and tried to purchase goods at two other stores in line bank declined those never use them again reporting to attorney general they canceled my card send me another card 1 week later no follow up or accountability disgrace tune up 59 dollars disputed also the charge me 6/9 numered imputed like the 1st 411 dollars Home Depot horrible disappointing experiencing 59 dollar time up turned into felony and robbery compromise my information no call back

Unbelievably bad company. I was supposed to be on their schedule 4 times. Of the 4 times, they managed to send a guy out one time who said he couldn’t do the job that day because it was raining. Today, my unit has frozen completely, I was supposed to be on the schedule but, again, for some reason, they managed to not have me on the schedule and said they were so completely booked up that they couldn’t send someone until tomorrow. I was supposed to have already been on the schedule! This company is unprofessional, can’t even make it to their own appointments and won’t even do right by the customer once the service manager is made aware of what has occurred historically. I gave them 4 too many chances. ARS is pathetically unreliable. Horribly unprofessional. Find another company.

The technician, TJ, was great. He was kind, professional, and informative. He was also quick and thorough. If given the option I would request him again in the future.The reason I cant give more stars is because I scheduled a visit for maintenance on Wednesday between 12pm and 4pm and a technician never showed. I was given a call after 5pm to let me know they couldnt make it out and so the company rescheduled for Friday between 9am and 1pm. On Friday, when no one showed by 12:30pm, I called and was told they would check with the dispatcher and call me back. They never did, so I called again at 1:30. I spoke with Daya, and she got me in touch with the dispatcher directly, she was very helpful. They finally got TJ out to me, again he was great.If not for the scheduling issues. I would give a higher score. I have no issue with the service itself just with the scheduling and the failure in communication.

Overpriced from the start. I had a bad install and had to force them to fix it. Then called for annual maintenance. One of the first things they make you sign is an agreement acknowledging that the service is actually a sales push. Like... I was already distrustful but that put me over the edge. All the problems found and Im like... Sure. Whatever. Im getting a second opinion. No Im not paying you an extra $100 to diagnose the unit that was fine when I know the other is the one with issues. This system is 3 years old and you installed it and it feels like youre setting me up for $1000+ of fixes on a 3 year old system that just needs some warranty replacements. Also they charge flat rates on warranty replacements. Another company that couldnt service the unit with a bad fan told me that if the fan part cost more than $300 I should walk. ARS tells me that even though the part is free the labor will cost $410. I asked if it was a 4 hour job trying to understand even the exorbitant rate of $100/hour. Of no it doesnt take 4 hours.... Thats just the flat rate.... Are you kidding me? Car mechanics at an overpriced dealership are more reasonable than that! Why dont I get the part myself and pay someone to do it for cheaper? No good answer there. Im so done with this company.Edit: Talked to another A/C company. No problem with one of the units that ARS wanted $99 to assess if there was a leak. There wasnt a leak. Also the capacitor that they correctly identified as a problem but wanted a flat $285 installation fee to do a warranty replacement is a $10 part and the other company will do that job for $75.Everything ARS does is overpriced so that they can afford to do it twice and call the fix customer service. They make the big margins by either getting lucky that it was right the first time or having a customer too tomorrow to call them on their mistakes. Beware!

I purchased my home 2 yrs ago because I was told it had a brand new A/C unit. Since then Ive had to repair it twice and now the compressor motor is gone. I called ARS and they wanted to charge me $99 to come out and diagnose the problem. I had already called a local person and they told me what the problem was however they didnt work with Carrier. As my unit is still under warrenty I called ARS and afeel like they are taking advantage of me especially when I see other companies willing to come out and diagnose for free.

I had a technician come out to do a tuneup. The technician said I had a faulty part and would look into see if i still had warranty and never follow up. I had to call myself to see if that part was still in warranty. Decide to still go with them and set up an appointment to get the repair done. They never showed up no courtesy call no word what soever from ARS rooter. Follow up sucks seem like the dont care about there client or very very unorganized.

The install was very professional. Our installers Oscar and Rogelio were very professional with the process down to a science of execution. The new units and replacement of rotten particle board is extremely professional. Both installers educated us on the new units and cleaned the entire area in our garage. This is the review I left on the company survey:I could tell the service guy was just following the horrible policies established by your company. This is a complaint about your practices, not my service rep.All I needed was a new filter screen for the dynamic whole house filter. I called to order the part and they told me I had to have a service call before they tell me about the part. Then the service rep said I need a new dynamic house cleaner system for $800!!!! I found the part online for $ 75. Then he hyped up all these fake charges that totaled $4,000 and said I might as well get a new unit. My unit is working fine.When I told him the system wasnt even 10 years old he said I should get a new system every 8 years. What a jokee! Then he continued to pressure me to agree to a second high pressure sales pitch from your sales people. I will never call your company ever under any circumstance and I am about to file a claim with the BBB.
