Needed to get my Kershaw knife sharpened so I called up super sharp incorporated. Not only was he able to squeeze me in immediately but he was very friendly and super professional. Absolutely lovely experience start to finish. I brought in some grooming shears as well as some cheap fabric scissors someone had used to cut wire. Pretty sure they cut better than the day I got them! Jim did a fantastic job and was an absolute delight, and his prices are lower than any others that I’ve found in the area. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent service. Great people to do business with. They did a fantastic job of sharpening the blades and tuning-up my 35-year-old professional barber clippers. The clippers run and cut hair better than they have in years.

We used to go see Charlie at the Crestwood location for a long time. His son Jim has since carried on the business to their new Tinley location and although its a new building, its the same high-quality work and fantastic customer service we grew to be familiar with. I just got my everyday-carry knife sharpened by Jim and I think it may be in better shape than it was out of the box; I am beyond impressed. Super friendly people and incredible attention to detail. Impressed Beyond Belief!!! The service was excellent & quick ~ my shears are super sharp & feel like new again. The owner was funny and friendly and gave me advice about my tools. And Beyond Belief ~ he gave me a FREE pair of Japanese shears! I guess every 1000th customer, they give a free pair of shears and a case and he even gave me a razor! I’ve never been to a place like this. I just moved here from Chicago and shear sharpening was expensive & inadequate. So Grateful!!

Someone used my sewing scissors to cut paper and wire! They needed to be sharpened fast so that I could cut fabric to make masks during the pandemic. I am thrilled to have found Super Sharp! Their name should be changed to Super FAST and Sharp! I was able to drop off my scissors and had then back in about an hour! This past weekend someone told me he needed the lawnmower blades sharpened and his last experience with Ace Hardware (last season) was a total failure on their part after waiting 3 weeks only to be told the blades were never touched. Someone ended up having to purchase new blades to cut the lawn because it took another 2 weeks for a total of FIVE weeks for Ace Hardware to sharpen lawnmower blades! I suggested Super Sharp, contacted Jim Sunday afternoon and had an appointment for today to drop off the blades. I had the blades back in around an hour! Now both myself and someone will both be returning to and recommending Super Sharp to all our friends. I couldnt be more pleased to have stumbled on such a great shop! Thank you!

After cutting 150 fleece tie pillows my scissors were shot. Dropped them off and they were ready to be picked up within the hour, sharp as a knife. Great service at very reasonable price.

Had a wonderful experience with them. Needed my sewing machine fixed and tuned up and it was in and out in 1 day. Most accommodating and was willing to wait for me if I was running a few minutes late after closing time. Would definitely use them again!!!!!

I went here a couple of weeks ago to get knives sharpened and it was a great experience. I dropped them off on a Saturday and picked them up that Wednesday. The knives are super sharp and cutting everything like butter. I will return and refer to everyone

Great Customer Service!! I walked in unannounced and they took care of my haircutting shears right away. They were old as I hadnt worked a a salon in quite some time. Jim sharpened them, replaced the finger cushions and bumpers quickly, while I waited. Mary offered me tea and even told me about education opportunity to learn about how to choose shears and the type of metal used.

Ive had a few of my high end folding knives done he does a fantastic job I trust him 100 percent .They also have a shop mascot which.is beautiful worth the trip just.to see .

Honestly? Probably the single best customer service experience I’ve ever had. Jim is SO very nice and my salon shears look and feel amazing! I’ve only just left the shop and have already referred him to a few of my friends. PLUS he has a pet tortoise in the store, which is the coolest thing ever. 10/10 highly recommend

I have been doing business with Chuck and his staff for many years. I have always been more than pleased with the items coming back super sharp. Jim, one of the sharpeners, was even able to take rather inexpensive knives that I was going to throw out due to their dullness and create a sharp blade on them. They go out of their way to ensure that their clients are pleased and always have the sharpening done in a timely manner. Genuinely wonderful people and a great locally owned, family business!

I don’t leave google “reviews” veryoften but, felt the need to speak up on behalf of these fine folks. I neglected my duty to sharpen our knives and with Thanksgiving bearing down, this is no time for dull knives. I took (8) knives in on a Monday afternoon on short notice and they promised they’d have them done be Wednesday afternoon. They called me on Tuesday at 2 PM. $3 bucks a knife and the knives are as sharp as possible. Thank you so much and couldn’t recommend enough using their service.

This place is the best. Never knew my knives could cut so well and they do all kinds of things sharpening. I am going to bring everything in and let them remind me of how well things work when they are like new. See you again soon. Thanks.

This place is great. The guy who runs things is dedicated to his craft. This is not the sort of place where some kid, with 6 months of experience, is sharpening your knives. This veteran craftsman sharpens your blades with an eye to the craft and a his heart in your steel.

He has been a sharpener for 30 plus years. He has serviced thousands of customers!! I read a Google Review from Brian Howes that tells you a story on his thoughts about the bad service but never says anything to the owner. He expects the owner to be some kind of mind reader..He gives the owner a one star review. Pathetic!! Brians review to me as a customer of Super Sharp is Dull, Dull, Dull as he would say If Brian would have said something to the owner, the owner would have definately fixed his issue.
