Kyle is responsible for the healthy marriage we have now. We were in a very low spot and having trouble finding a good therapist who wouldn’t just listen and nod. Within the first 30 mins of our first session, Kyle had identified our cycle of negative behavior and taught us the basics of interrupting it. We went to multiple sessions with other therapists without ever having gotten close to that kind of progress. The thing about Kyle is that you have to be willing to work. He never took either of our sides individually and was always more concerned about our marriage’s health. We have recommended 3 other couples and a few individuals and those who have gone to see Kyle have also made huge strides personally and in their relationships. If you need some tough love, Kyle is your guy.

I was grateful to have Kyles insights into addiction and boundary setting to understand and improve relationships with siblings. Ive heard from several others that his help was remarkable in their marriage counseling. He is respectful, insightful, and skilled at managing difficult emotionally charged conversations.

Im not one to take time out to write a review, but, Kyle has changed my life and saved my marriage. If my review helped convince even one other person to give Kyle a chance then it would be worth it. The intensity with which he cares is astounding. I went with zero hope left in relationships disintegrating after years of major stress. Grad school is not for the weak of heart! There just wasnt anything left to give. I cried away entire sessions for weeks, months! He calmly listened as I worked through more emotions than I thought possible. I still cant quite comprehend how he guided me through that. For starters he listens. Really listens. He teaches principles and helps you figure out how to change your actions so that you feel and act better. I feel like a new person inside. My circumstances havent changed yet but I feel so different inside. Ive found strength to set boundaries, be myself, have courage to speak up AND to be silent, and to stretch my ability to love another person unconditionally. He is quite capable of changing his approach per person. He is not a pop out a text book answer kind of a guy. Ive listened to the way he talks to my husband and thought that doesnt make any sense and then when he talks to me everything clicks. He is the perfect person to bridge the gap between people.I have appreciated his honest, no nonsense approach. Ive felt validated and corrected all in 2 minutes time. I often feel like Ive been through a ringer when Im through but I also feel cleansed and recharged emotionally. Im ready to face life again.Thank you Kyle for teaching me essential tools to live my life. Tools that few people pick up along the way and that even fewer know to teach their children. I was losing the battle before you. Thank you.

When I first started attending therapy I wasnt sure what I was supposed to do or what I really wanted out of it. All I knew was I was not feeling like my happy go lucky self. I was in a dark lonely place that was new to me and I knew I needed help. Kyle helped me bring light back into my life. He has a way of knowing exactly where you are at, and exactly what you need. He does not fix things for you. He does give you the skills and support you need to fix yourself. Kyle is honest and trust worthy. He doesnt tell you what you want to hear or what he thinks you want to hear, he tells you what you need to hear to become a better person and improve your quality of life. He is very intuitive and thoughtful in our sessions and I always feel he genuinely cares about my individual progress. Through my therapy sessions I have felt empowered as I face fears and emotions I have pushed away for years. Kyle has a gift for guiding you toward self discovery and hope with kindness and reassurance.

After ten months of therapy, I can say that I have learned so much from Kyle.I am growing closer to my spouse, learning that each of us matters individually in our marriage, and that it requires self-care in addition to selflessness to make marriage work.My husband and I are both addicts and walking the road to recovery, and we can’t think of anyone better to have as our guide in this process.Kyle knows and understands thoroughly the patterns of addiction and co-addictions and what it takes to improve life and find truth and hope.Kyle’s personal honesty, strength, character, boundaries, courage and values match AND enable his clinical strengths as a therapist. He does not expect of you what he cannot do himself. If you will humble yourself, surrender your internal war with yourself and others, Kyle will guide you to growth and understanding you would otherwise never have known.Kyle is amazing, kind and loving. He is committed to and passionate about the therapy process for all clients. However, it is ultimately up to us to put ourselves in a place of humility and give ourselves permission to be taught. With that permission, Kyle has so much education, insight and knowledge to offer you.If you truly want to see change and hope in your personal life, your addiction, your marriage, and/or your family, Kyle is the BEST person with whom to travel this road.

I drive almost 1 hour every week to see Kyle and it is worth it! Every time I go to a session I feel like I am visiting with a friend. I never feel rushed. I know Kyle is genuinely interested in my well-being. He listens. I never feel I am being lectured or pressured. He has a calm, encouraging way about him. This has helped me immensely as I have had to discover the areas I needed to work on and to break through some of the chains that have been binding me. I have been able to improve my relationships with family and friends. I have also been able to open up to possibilities and opportunities in my work and my life I would never have been able to before. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have made so much progress. Thank you Kyle for helping me on this journey.

I decided to write a review for Kyle even though I had never written one. I felt if my review could help someone who was going through a tough, rough time and was not sure who to seek professional counseling from, then this would be worth of the time. I share my sessions with my sister-in-law and she seriously thinks he is an extremely capable therapist who says whats needed, not whats easy to accept. His job is to help his clients improve relationships with honesty, while establishing trust. He is your friend in the process of teaching you how to fish; he teaches tools to improve relationships, especially your relationship with yourself! As a religious person I prayed hard to find someone who not only could help me understand my PTSD symptoms and the unknown fears, but also to improve and repair important relationships. Kyle does not just listen actively, he is a compassionate listener! He has a way of connecting with his clients with sincerity. And because we share the same religion and belief he encourages me to connect the therapy with theology, which I really appreciate. When I first saw him I was in the deepest center of a dark tunnel, through guidance he was able to show me flickers of light shining from the cracks, those tiny flickers of light became symbols of hope even in the complete darkness! As someone who was going through acute PTSD symptoms he was able to provide safety for me to explore negative emotions, explore ways to finding healing; he was gentle and kind. After emotions were processed he continues to guide me to identify individualized approaches to keep improving. In the process, his office becomes a safe haven where no judgment is made; his focus is in helping his clients to grow and understand their struggles in a safe environment. When things were extremely difficult I would actually start crying on my way to his office, because I knew no judgment would be drawn and I could be honest with my feelings, especially the powerful and negative emotions. After a few months of intense personal exploration, utilizing the skills learned, I can really witness the changes! They help me maintain and rebuild relationships in a healthier way, which was the main reason why I went to him. The best part of the counseling is I have gradually learned to love myself with all the imperfections. Kyle has been a miracle worker for me and I really appreciate his counsel and professional guidance. This is the reason why I am writing this review. There are as many personalities as therapists practicing nowadays. Kyles style fits my personality. So for me, he is perfect. I can only wish for those who are searching to find your perfect therapist who can truly hold your hand as you walk down this challenging road as he is to me. If you havent found your perfect therapist, give Kyle a try. You might find him a valuable and honest friend who would encourage you to keep going, not from the side line, but from the hand holding yours.

Did not create a safe place and caused more mental and emotional damage. His input was not supported by any research or evidence base.
