Takes forever to apply. Very rude male manager. Jennifer the emplotlyee compensation manager is sweet and inviting though and was ready able and willing to problem solve faster than anyone else. Decent employment opportunities but be cautious with the staff. Not all are pleasant to deal with.

I worked a 12 hr shift in the beginning of November and it is now December 21 Ive still havent gotten paid. They keep blowing me off saying next Friday or next Monday. Then she went on to blame Christmas for the delay Ive should have gotten paid last month. This company is trash. I would highly recommend not working for them.

They’re pretty good about doing time cards and they make that pretty easy. However I forgot to tell them I quit a job. I was really close friends with the boss and of course let him know. One of the ladies there got snotty with me because I forgot.

When I worked for a company that needed to hire employees, John would always send us the best candidates to interview and make best use of our time. Being in management, you cannot waste your time interviewing people that are not serious. These guys are professionals and do their jobs very, very well.Recently I needed employment due to life changing circumstances. When I came in I was presented with several options of where I could work. I was given objective and honest insights on what the jobs were and what they entailed do could determine what might work best for me and my family.. NO FLUFF! I was sent over to interview as a candidate the same day. Express Employment is wonderful!They hold you accountable for your success, which is awesome! The company has helped me do some side jobs, I am newly married so making some extra on the side is very helpful. I think it is very professional how they do things there. They help you find a job that best fits you, then its up to me or whoever to make good impressions. so the company they send you too want to keep you, so you now have a FULL time job... its a great place, John is awesome, and the recruiters are awesome... my words of advice would be, go there looking clean and professional, that makes a great first impression, they are there to help us find jobs right for us. I really enjoyed my time with the express staffing agency. They did there best to make me feel comfortable and find work I would fit well in. They were really kind, and worked hard to place me in a job. Plus they always had free cookies on Fridays which is always a nice bonus!

This place seems nice but dont be fooled, they dont color through on promises and have horrible communication skills. I attempted to straighten out my wages but they wouldnt even try to understand. They would just say, this is your wage I dont know why anyone told you different. Never calling the company to get it sorted out.

I have been using Express for several years now. I have found them to be extraordinarily helpful and responsive. I have also noticed their employees are very high caliber. John and Donna and their entire staff from Jennifer at the front desk to Gay and Adam are just fantastic to work with.

So far Ive had a great experience with them. The staff is FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL and EFFICIENT. I applied online and got a call within an hour to come in for an interview to get signed up with them. Ive had numerous calls from them with job opportunities. They find you work quickly and have good pay too. I have yet to find a permanent job but they still hard on my behalf. POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS BEWARE. Express sent my invoice (with everyones hourly wages) to my temp instead of me. Then the owner, John, disclosed my private communications with Express to my temp-to-hire executive assistant. And when I called to speak with John about it, he deflected, refused to be accountable; and when I told him that he has no right to disclose my private, confidential conversations to my employees, he went ballistic--he became snarky, made personal attacks, and told me to never call him again, hung up the phone on me, and called my assistant and told her that he was terminating her employment! John subsequently sent me an email stating that I should find another staffing company that is more suited to satisfy the needs of my company. If you are looking for a company that has integrity, owns its mistakes, and keeps confidences, you better look elsewhere for a company that is better suited to satisfy your needs.

So much discrimination in job offers. Jennifer used to be nice but turned out horrible to all she chooses not to give assignments. The owner seems to have joined hands too he was very rude to me over the phone...well bye guys, you are not the only employment agencies available to us. You need to know that as individuals we have the right to decline taking on a job and only choose what works for us.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This is beyond one of the worst staffing agencies. Theyre all very unprofessional, unorganized and rude! Every time I called in I was given an attitude and a short unhelpful answer to my question(s).The company Express set me up to work for was absolutely horrible as well.The first paycheck I received I noticed I was being paid a dollar more than I should have been, I instantly reported it to my manager at the Provo Processing Center and she then called Gaye (an employee at Express) to get it fixed and changed. It took EXPRESS the whole three weeks I worked for them to get it fixed. Which therefore means every one of my checks had a different amount deducted. Its frustrating when your check isnt consistent. WE ALL HAVE BILLS TO PAY. I shouldnt have to suffer consequences for someone elses lazy mistake because they could not double check their work.On top of that when I was let go from my job, Express didnt even know about it until I came into the office and asked for my last paycheck. Which they did not have and when I asked why they didnt have it I was given this response from Gaye Because we cant just pull money from our ass. LITERALLY THOSE WERE HER EXACT WORDS!Gaye told me I could call John on Monday and see about getting an advance. I spoke with him and every question I asked it seemed like it was a burden for him to do his job. All I was asking was how much the advance would be if I were to get one and I also asked the total NET amount of my check because of HOW INCONSISTENT it had been. Every response he gave me was with an attitude. Im definitely going to be calling corporate to make sure I HAVE BEEN GETTING the correct amount. Its ridiculous how rude ive been treated in the short three weeks I was with these guys.NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE FOR A JOB, DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE GUYS! Theyre not trust worthy with your pay check and they really dont care whether you succeed or fail. Youll end up going through more hassle and havoc than you would just looking for a job on your own.

My experience with them was horrible, they suck, the only one that was nice was the lady at the front desk. Very unprofessional I wouldnt recommend them to anyone unless they want wages taken from their pay checks. They act nice when you first apply then they begin harassing you for every little thing. They are far from professionals.

This is a long review, but I feel like people should know about my experience. I wouldnt go back. The staff was friendly, but the whole process was frustrating. My frustration started when I found a job online and I called to apply, I was told to come in for an interview. I got to my interview, but I was surprised to see it was not an essential oil company, but a staffing agency. Already annoyed that this wasnt mentioned to me, I went in still hoping for an interview which never happened. It instead turned into a 2 hour long meeting telling the staff about myself and what kind of jobs I wanted and them teaching me how to apply for a job, which I was perfectly capable of doing on my own. So after being led to believe i was there to be interviewed with an essential oil company, and it instead turning into a 2 hour waste of my time, I was told that I needed to revise my resume to company standards for them to send my resume off to companies. First of all, my resume was helped written by someone who is a PROFESSIONAL in the writing and job industry; has a masters in writing, and is a published author. Clearly, my resume was very professional but the staff I was with refused and refused to send it unless I revised my resume to company standards (which was downgrading my resume from what it was). Me being even more frustrated, I agreed because I had no choice and down graded my resume to their liking. The staff I worked with assured me that I would get the job now because of my new resume, even though I had a hard time believing that since my resume was very professional, and their resume standard was just some average joe resume. The staff said the companh would now for sure give me a call. Oh and guess what? That company nerve gave me a call. Cant say Im surprised. Wasted two hours of my time, and two more hours of my time down grading my resume since they refused to send my professional one, all to never here from a company I didnt apply for to BEGIN with. Ya, so I would never go here again. Its a great place if you dont know how to apply for a job and if you have no idea how to write a basic resume. But if your like me and your confident in your ability to find a job and your confident in your resume, avoid this place if you want to avoid some serious frustration.

I have to agree with Kiaya. This place is a huge waste of time. They lose your information, never call back, say theyll call back in the morning and never do, etc. If they miss your call its ok, but if you miss theirs, its the apocalypse. Then on the off chance you do get a call, they never send you to the place you applied for even if you meet the requirements and qualifications for that position. Ive tried 4 different times, and each time I have to email my resume (which Ive already sent them) and my phone number (which youd think theyd still have on file) and they never return my calls. Just go try Elwood.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. At first john the boss was extremely nice. I was homeless and needed to get a place and he was more than willing to throw me 300 bucks as long as I worked a job that he needed covered really bad. He took me to the interview, even bought me lunch and took me to an appointment for housing I needed. I worked the job and when I started notice my wages being deducted he said it was a loan. I didnt fight him much, I was very grateful to have a place, but when when I called out a couple weeks later they harassed and harassed me, saying I was faking, that called out too early, (I had the flu, to early?), and got and was told I would be terminated if It happened again. So I decided to find another non temp job and afterword texted the same guy who helped me with 300 dollars and told him I had a better offer. He texted me back stating that I owed him and hed get me back, and that fate was going to punish me as well. Next thing I know I am getting my last check with my hours jipped and my wage cut. I am currently seeking help but when you are just out of being homeless and broke what can you do. I worked for them almost a month and when I found something that didnt require me to be harassed, walking alone at 2am in the morning, and something I have experience in should not cost me wage, and if you are going to help a guy out with a deposit, make a signed payment plan with him, and dont take money out of my check when you feel like it. He never attempted to contact me about repayment once, just assumed.My roommate also went though them and they called 23 times in one day because he refused to take a job the severally needed taken. This place sucks, and they are con artists.

As an employee, I get frustrated with the scheduling. I’ll get called at night to work the next day, or get no work for two weeks, even when I’ve stated that I’m available. But when there’s work, it pays well.

Express always has work and they serve with a smile. Theyre the best and very professional.
