Dr. Christiansen and his staff are amazing. They are friendly and very accommodating. They work hard to make me feel comfortable each time I come which is hard with my anxieties. I have received extended visits to cut down the amount of visits for my medical needs. They are just the BEST! (Oh and they have a great kids room.)

Today we began my smile makeover, after years of wanting to do this, today was my first step. The staff helped me with insurance coverage and in creating the multi-step plan. Im always greeted warmly and by name, regardless of who I am being treated by.My comfort was of utmost importance particularly as this was to be a very lengthy appointment. The attention to detail and the care taken in how the work was performed, and how my opinion mattered was refreshing, in this hurry up world of ours. Totally would recommend this incredible office! Dr Craig Christiansen is an amazing, caring, and proficient dentist. He knows and cares about each of his patients personally, and remembers details like a true friend would. He does REALLY great dental work. His staff are just as awesome and the office is run well and efficiently. The other dentists on his team are great too. Dr. Christiansen is the best dentist around! I was referred to him when I moved to Utah from Colorado (where I had a fantastic dentist) and he has been wonderful since day one. Im not much for going to the dentist--fingers and metal in the mouth has never been one of those desirable things for me. We were referred Christiansen Dental when we moved to Utah a few years ago. This is an outstanding place to go. His staff and Hygienists are always very welcoming and do great work. I dont feel that my mouth has been run over by a train after they have been cleaned. Dr. Christiansen is very friendly and really concerned about you as an individual. I really appreciate this touch of very personal service. Ive also had a very pleasant experience with his other associates as well. I had a crown put on and it went smoothly and without pain. If you havent found the right dentist, give Christiansen Dental an opportunity to serve you. I highly recommend them.

The Dentists and Assistants here are very personable and professional. They worked with my wife who had some dental anxiety from past experiences. They helped her overcome her worries very quickly and were super warm from start to finish. Definitely will be going here long term.

My family and I love Christiansen Dental! We drive up from St. George every six months because we appreciate the quality of care that we receive. I moved to Utah Valley for school and wanted to find a local dentist so I wouldnt need to travel back to Washington state for dental work. Needless to say, I am grateful I did. Dr Christiansen has been the best dentist I have had (hes my 4th dentist). Now I bring my wife and our 2 year old son. When we show up, we are treated like family and the staff always seems excited to see us. We are well taken care of. I especially appreciated Dr. Christiansen and his team with regard to our son. They watch him so we can focus on our teeth and then they bring him back so he can see us get checked on. Dr. Christiansen is great to already start building a report with our son for when its time for his check ups. That means the world to me as a dad. I give this wonderful team my highest recommendation.

Loved both my experiences with Dr. Christiansen and Dr. Reynolds. I have a lot of dental anxiety, and they were both so understanding and kind. They take the time to explain everything to you from regular oral hygiene, upcoming procedures, billing/insurance questions. The receptionists and dental hygienists are awesome as well. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family members who are wanting an amazing dentist. Also, its cool that they have TV screens on the ceiling for you to watch movies.

I came to Christiansen Dental the other day to get a regular cleaning and it turns out that I needed a deep cleaning! Over the past few years I have experienced terrible gum bleeding because of plaque build up under my gums and for whatever reason my previous dentist was unable to catch that. After getting my deep cleaning the bleeding has decreased significantly. Im so grateful for the staffs attentiveness. The drs, hydenists and assistants are super kind and willing to listen and patiently talk me through everything.

Ive been seeing Dr. Lindgren for 8 years and would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Hes very careful and thorough in his work. Hes also great at explaining treatment in a way that anyone could understand. Ive been to a lot of dentists and he is definitely the best one Ive found :)

We have been using Christiansen Dental for the past 10 years? I cannot remember for how long... but we were introduced to them by my brothers family. The staff is wonderful, from the front desk to the doctors. They have always made us feel welcome and comfortable; my kids have never feared seeing the dentist in all the time we have been clients. I am so pleased with their service, that I am excited about my daughter interning (and hopefully working with them full time) with them this Summer. It is by far the best dental experience I have ever had. The thought of ever having to find another dentist after working with Dr. Christiansen and his staff is a very sad thing to consider. I have a hard time imaging anyone having a bad experience here. If you are looking for a dentist, contact them today and get on the list. It does take some time to get into the office but again, it is well worth the wait. My wife had a very bad experience with a local dentist office in Orem before we found Dr. Christiansen. Through the professional and kind nature of all the staff (dentist included), going to the dentist now is no longer a fear filled event. I could go on, but will refrain. Ive never written a review before but this guy is amazing. I know theres more than one dentist here but Ive only ever met Dr Christiansen, and I cant even begin to express what an amazing job he does with such a great personality. All of the people working here are just great. Ill probably never go to another place unless I move out of state. A big group of my co-workers go here, simply because you want to spread the word about him once you come.

I am so impressed with Christiansen Dental, I dont even know if I can fully express it with just a simple review. I went to Christiansen Dental to inquire about getting my wisdom teeth removed solely based on how its rated here on google, as I had no idea what dentists were available in the Orem area. I gotta say, it was everything that people built it up to be. My first cleaning was gentle, thorough, and the staff was incredibly pleasant and kind. Dr. Kayne was the dentist available, and I felt he was incredibly wonderful to work with. I felt like he really took the time to get to know me, rather than just move me along like any other patient. He was very understanding of my fears, and was completely willing to work with my low income. I felt very reassured about getting my extractions through him instead of an oral surgeon. My surgery felt like taking a pleasant nap. I was given headphones to listen to music, and whenever I became more coherent, I remember Dr. Kayne being very reassuring and encouraging about my progress. My healing was the BEST. Even with impacted teeth, I barely needed to heal! Whatever Dr. Kayne did, it was incredibly gentle and efficient, because I had little to no pain with the healing process and I was back to normal in less than a week. I was further impressed with him calling me up a few days later to check up on me and his kindness when I called him for questions on the healing process. This business deserves every star on this rating.

Dr. Christiansen and his staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Compared to other dentists, I think they are perfect at cleaning and diagnosing your teeth - whereas some dentists get too aggressive recommending too many cavities, etc. Their diagnosis is very accurate in my opinion; and their charges are very reasonable.

Dr Lindgren is the best. Every time I come in he is so sweet and helps me with any questions on co-pay and insurance and even just asks about my day. The staff is incredibly welcoming and understanding and I recommend them to everyone I know looking for a dentist. A+

I really like Dr. Christiansen. They do a wonderful job, treat you nice, and dont leave you waiting. I did have some fillings done recently and it took almost 3 hours to do 4 fillings. I havent really had much dentistry work done, so I dont know how that compares timewise, but the dentist was friendly and I havent had any complications.

This was my first time going back to the dentist in five years. I was a little nervous but after talking to Dr. Christiansen, Dr. Kayne and Dr. Lindgren, I knew I was in good hands. Christiansen Dental makes me love going to the dentist. I have been with their office for years, and have never once dreaded going in, unlike many of my friends who have other dentists and dread the dentist office.

I recently ended a 4-year relationship with Dr. Christiansen after he drilled a quarter-inch hole in my tongue with a tooth polisher. He left the polisher running in my mouth while he was looking up at something and it snagged the soft tissue under my tongue and shredded it. He said it was my fault for swallowing (which was not true), and I got the sense he had used this excuse many times in the past. The hole in my tongue was large enough that a pea could have fit inside it, but Dr. Christiansen saw no need to suture it, proceeded to charge me for the visit, and sent me stumbling on my way. (Dr. Christiansen insists the hole was not very big when I left his office, so I have posted a photo of it to my Google Plus profile that I took in my car immediately after the incident. View at your own discretion.)When I arrived at work and showed the hole to my coworkers, they were concerned and suggested I see another dentist as soon as possible. When I did, I was immediately referred to an oral surgeon to repair the damage, which I was told presented a serious infection risk. When I called Dr. Christiansen to ask if he would pay for the procedure, he refused, saying he should be allowed to fix it himself and that he couldnt, have people saying bad stuff about him. Although I was not thrilled at the prospect of letting Dr. Christiansen put his hands back in my mouth, I could not afford to pay the oral surgeon out of pocket, so I had no choice but to let him stitch the hole. When I arrived, he had a big smile on his face and yet also appeared to be on the verge of tears. He tried to apologize, but still couldnt bring himself to take responsibility for what happened. He credited my account the amount he had charged me for my visit that morning, but since I never returned it didnt do me any good. One more weird thing he did was give me a $5 gift card to Dickeys Barbeque, I assume as some confused attempt at reparations.I have referred over a dozen patients to Dr. Christiansen over the years. He is a family friend of my in-laws and I always found him to be a nice guy, if a bit absent-minded. As much as I wanted to sweep this under the rug to spare him the embarrassment of his actions, the incompetence and apathy with which he handled this incident was truly disturbing. Even now I am unsure if Dr. Christiansen even views injuring his patients as a serious matter. From his actions it seems he views it as little more than an inconvenience for them -- not warranting any extra care or attention and easily atoned for with a $5 barbecue sandwich.My wife and I have since changed dentists and I am advising the friends and family I referred to Dr. Christiansen over the years to do the same. There are so many high quality health professionals in the Orem/Provo area that no one should have to settle for this kind of substandard care.NOTE: Because Dr. Christiansen chooses to mention it below for some reason, $5000 is the amount from the settlement agreement my attorney and I offered Dr. Christiansen to prevent a medical malpractice claim against him, which included the concession that this review would be taken down.

Best dentist and staff in the business!!

Im very impressed by this group of skilled individuals. First off I hadnt been to a dentist in 15 years and Im only 25. I was recommended to Christiansen by many people and I noticed they had several good reviews here on Google. My wife made an appointment for me, she commented on how friendly the office staff were to her and how excited they were to have me in. I arrived to the office, filled out the paper work and was taken immediately to have x-rays done. I was then brought to a room where my x-rays were displayed on a screen and asked about what I wanted done. They cleaned and polished my teeth very quickly and caused me very little discomfort while keeping me updated on each step. After my teeth were cleaned I was taken to a different room where Dr. Craig Christiansen himself came in and greeted me. I was expecting him to jump right into looking at my mouth and tryi to sell me on things I needed. Instead we sat there and talked for about 20 min as he got to know me. After getting to know me he looked into my mouth and commented on two cavities he noticed on my back upper maulers. He brain stormed out loud while going over options which I personally liked because it showed me how skilled and experienced he was. Since he had gotten to know me first he knew that I was just married with one child and one on the way. He found the absolutely best option for me which was a flipper retainer. He even knocked the price down for me and made me pay only the lab fees. I was scheduled for the soonest appointment which was 5 days later to have impressions done for my new flipper retainer. He warned me that it would be about one week wait for them to make my retainer in the lab. I came in 5 days later and had impressions done. They even had a shade chart to match my current teeth to the fake teeth that were in the flipper. I left the office and wasnt going to get my flipper retainer for another 2 weeks because the office was so busy. Much to my surprise I received a call from Dr. Christiansens office asking if I could come in the next day!! They rushed my flipper retainer through the lab and had it ready for me the very next day instead of making me wait for 2 weeks. I came in, had my cavities filled, had a baby tooth pulled and was fitted with my new retainer all in about 2 hours. I know my review is the size of a novel but I really wanted to express all the different ways this office has impressed me and really gone the extra mile. This will be my familys dentist as long as I live in Utah! You guys are great!
