Never Never Never Trust him. Trust me Please !!He never finished his job and never made true conversation.He has lack of ability for his business.He always made excuse for every situation and lied.I hired him December, 19,2018 to open the new restaurant and he couldnt do anything for 10 month. He just waste my time and money.His job supposed to be done for 7-8 weeks. But He couldnt.He submitted the plans for 3 times, and nothing was changed from the review. He just submitted the useless papers.Im trying to sue himPlease, DO NOT HIRE HIM EVEN DO NOT MAKE A CALL HIM.

TL Deming did a great Job when I approached him to draw up some plans for a project I was doing in Oak Park. The turnaround was fast and the plans were of very high quality. When the city required additional information TL Deming was there to provide what was needed. 10/10 would highly recommend.

I didn’t like how he took my money and didn’t do the job he was meant to do. He took really long on the architectural plans and when we asked for the updates it was always the same....working on it. I decided to ask him one last time about what is going on...he kept lieing and saying that it will be done soon. 8 months later still the same. Don’t real recommend this place, do yourself a favor and find someone else.

I have also been a member of the International Code Council I.C.C. since 1999 and have over 32 certifications from I.C.C. for Residential and Commercial Building Inspector/Plan checking.I have been Plan Checking residential plans for Mr. Brent Deming for a little over 20 years. During that time, Mr. Deming, would submit plans at both Sacramento County plan check and for the City of Folsom for review and approval.In this business, building codes change every 3 years. All plans when submitted to the Building Department go through a thorough plans review and needs to comply with the latest Building Codes. If the plans do not comply the Plan Checker would write comments for correction. Plans often have to be drawn to comply with the new codes. I’ve enjoyed working with Mr. Brent Deming because during residential plan process I found T.L. Deming Design plans easy to read, very professional, and Mr. Brent Deming has a good habit of paying close attention to detail and to the latest building codes. I also plan checked a couple of his larger residential projects in Orangevale, the residential homes were from 5,000 to 6,000 sq. fI am also a Licensed contractor C.S.L.B. #596508 issued in 1982 Residential & commercial projects. Therefore, I look at all plans from two points of view; as a certified plan checker, building inspector and from a contractors perspective. I have always found Mr. Brent Deming easy to work with, and I respect his vast knowledge of the building trade.I’ve known Mr. Deming through his career, as a builder, residential designer and a developer of many custom Homes.I’ve also witnessed Mr. Deming in the building department lobby helping home owners that weren’t his clients fill out their applications for permits and even help them with their drawings.I found him to be a good business man and a man of good character.With over 45 year in the construction trades I’ve been involved in all phases, residential builder, building inspector, plan checking, I am now retired and I look forward to doing some projects with Mr. Brent Deming in the future. I would never hesitate to recommend T.L. Deming Design to my clients that need plans drawn.

I would like to respond to Matt Kroffs review of myself Brent Deming and T.L. Deming Design. Mr. Kroff has not been truthful on his review.Mr. Kroff DID get his permit. His permit was obtained by T.L. Deming Design. plans. The public record of #CBNR 2017-01081 6817 Pecan Ave Orangevale Ca verifies the permit was issued by using the plans drawn by Brent Deming of T.L. Deming Design. It shows Brent Deming is the designer of record and Tim Deming is the engineer of record.I personal was asked by Mrs Kroff (wife of Mr Kroff) and their framing contractor to attend a walk through during the framing process and after this review was written. I attended the walk in a professional manor despite Mr Kroff’s despicable review because I am a man of honor. During the walk through I continued to help the Kroffs contractor as he made changes that needed a response from the engineer.I would like to add changes happen during the planning process. Each change takes time for up dated engineering and new approvals thru plan check. Mr and Mrs Kroff far exceed the average number of changes. They were constantly changing their windows, bathroom and kitchen configurations. They changed wall heights and roof style after the plans went through the building permit process. I can prove that Matt Kroffs statements false and damaging.The most ironic part about Mr Kroff review is that he still has a balance due to the engineer for his changes..

In response to Brents reaponse:Yes we were issued a permit, AFTER THE PLANS WERE COMPLETELY RE-DRAWN BY HIS COUSIN TIM DEMING. T.L Deming Designs name is not on my plans that are tied to that permit listed. ANOTHER LIE.Yes a balance is still owed to Tim Deming because Brent Deming NEVER PAID THE ENGINEER. He kept the FULL BALANCE I PAID HIM. So when our house is complete, still under construction, Tim will be paid for his work. (Making mempay twice for what you were supposed to do first.DONT MAKE MORE LIES BRENT.Experience. Brent Deming lied throughout the entire process, the process which he never finished. He has an excuse for everything. But there is no excuse for taking peoples money, producing horrible plans that builders can not build from, and will not pass a plan check. He will tell you he has a whole team, but its just him and he will not complete the project. What he turned into the county was a complete joke. The county is aware of his work, just ask them. Brent will tell you that he has connections but its just more lies. He lied countless times and I have proof. If you have any builder look at his plans you will find his building techniques are antiquated. Your first red flag should be his inability to form a sentence that isnt riddled with spelling errors. His plans are riddled with spelling errors. CAD HAS SPELL CHECK BUILT IN. I am currently seeking legal action to try and recover the 12,000.00 I feel he has stolen from me. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH HIM. In my opinion he is a classic conman. He is NOT a licensed architect, and NOT a licensed Engineer. He is using his cousins stamp. Buyer Beware. It has been over 6 months and we have a set of drawings that will not pass plan check and can not be built.

He was not efficient at his job, took way longer than was first mentioned and in the end didnt even come through. Beware this man is a con man.

Do not deal with this company, Brent is a liar and a deceitful person. According to Sacramento County records, company was dissolved May 3, 2013.

He stole $5,000 from my parents. Took their money and didnt do any work. Tried to sue him. Do not use this guy.

A liar and a cheat. Find someone else.
