Michael is a total professional and a Godsend. We were in the unfortunate position of needing to have someone served for court. Michael answered my first call, explained how to get things working quickly, and started immediately. The person needing to be served didnt make thing easy, but Michael was persistent and got the job done. Other process servers couldnt or wouldnt take the job. Michael took the stress out of a stressful situation. I hope to never need his services again, but its very reassuring to know hes there.

I found Michael Danley, Orange County Process Server, after talking to 9 other process servers, one who made 7 front door attempts but could not serve. Mike made one attempt and made a good sub service by employing his years of experiance in the field as a seasoned process server and asked many vital questions about the defendant so he would be better aware of the situation, very professional, the other process servers did not ask these important questions, thats why Mike was able to serve when others could not. She even checked to make sure you were on the court’s approved list of process servers. She ruled in our favor.Upon receiving notice of the judgment, the defendant filed a motion to vacate. We had a second hearing, and your actions and documentation were key in upholding the original judgment.The defendant couldnt understand why the judge would believe you over him. She spent a long time explaining to him why she had no choice but to believe you over him.It was especially helpful that you also mailed a copy of the documents to the defendant’s office and indicated that on the proof of service. That took away any doubt the judge had that he might not have received the papers.I still have to collect the money... But, I just wanted share how much I appreciate what you did. Customer, if you are looking for a horrible experience this is the server.All communication is on you.My experience, these guys told me they never served the person I was suing.Go to the court house, turns out they did serve him, then OC servers contact me to tell me their bad, we will mail you the paper work you will need for proof of service. Never arrived.Look else where there are tons of process servers let this experience save you the hassle.Regarding your response, thanks for admitting you made multiple errors. But when dates matter especially with the court... I did not pay you money for a service to ride you about the out come. You need to get into a new line of work where you can actually do good and where all the different kinds of responsibility do not over whelm you.

I found Michael via an internet search and I had an urgent matter that needed quick service. I phoned him, gave him the background story, and he made it out to my location within 90 minutes. He was quickly able to locate the other party and serve her with the papers without incident. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN: Just a follow up to my past review: given that he failed to deliver as promised I asked Michael for my money back. He said after all the times Ive called him and stressed him (I had to call him because he hadnt made a single attempt in over a week since I dropped off the paper work) and he said sue me, take me to small claims then! Then he actually threatened to impact my divorce proceeding by giving recordings of our phone call to opposing counsel (on my grandmothers grave this is true). Michael takes the time to tackle bad reviews yet he cant take the time to actually just do the job. Not surprisingly, his bad reviews are consistent: he is arrogant and postulates how great he and his business are, treats clients badly, and doesnt do the job. He will likely respond with excuses as he has in the past. I write good reviews for people, I really do. Michael is the first bad review Ive written on Yelp, and the first bad review Ive written on Google in years. I have taken this time because as a matter of public policy people need to beware. A simple apology goes a long way as well. I am a real person and Im happy to provide anyone with more details if theyd like to contact me.

I gave Michael over 4 months and more than $200 to serve a licensed house cleaning service in Long Beach, CA. Not only did he fail to complete the job, he didnt even have the courtesy to respond to my calls or emails with updates about the case or to inform me whether or not I should ask for an extension. My trial date is tomorrow morning and I havent heard back from him since January. If I wasnt so sick and tired of the legal process already, Id file a small claim against Orange County Process Server for essentially stealing from me. Theres tons of process servers out there; USE ANY OF THEM OTHER THAN THIS ONE!

Michael came through again and found a hard to find person. This is the second time I used him successfully. I accidentally used another service with a similar name, who couldnt perform and informed me 3 days before the court date. Which ended up costing me an extra $70 setting up a new court date.

Dont expect a professional service from O.C.P.S.I. I was hung up on during a call when asking how I would be notified and the courts rejected the proof of personal service because they improperly filled it out. They didnt even sign and date the document and dont expect anyone to call you back and accept accountability with humility or arrogance, because what they lack in dignity, they make up for with disregard.

I have used Michael Danley for about 20 years for process serving and skip tracing. In the end he has always come through.Sometimes he has to work harder and longer on some case then others and some case are not worth the time or money to continue to go after.But in the cases that do matter he always come through. He keeps me updated on status and if I do not hear from him I know I can always call him for status.I will continue to use OCPS because they really do try to do their best and they come through more than they have not, from reading the reviews from the other companies OCPS has the best reputation of any of them.
