RE: SO-CAL CONTRACTORS: COMMENTS: QUALITY, INTEGRITY, RELIABILITY, REASONABLE PRICESCOPE OF PROJECT: (1) Rebuilding the attached second floor deck (400 SQ FT) due to weather damage, (2) Replacing the entire roof fascia boards along the roof lines of 3 story house (30 FT High), (3) Redo the entire backyard hard & soft landscape, (4) Replacing the concrete driveways & walkways with pavers (over 2000 SQ FT), (5) Construction of two sunrooms on the second & the third floor decks, (6) Construction of a new 800 SQ FT RV port and Outdoor sink with stove, (7) Beautification of outside - New stone columns to the block wall, New front patio wall & Mail box with capstones, Foam moulding for the windows throughout, New painting, New chimney cap.PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPANY: Due to the severe weather damage of my house exterior (Huntington Beach), I had been searching for a quality contractor for a long time (over 3 years), who could handle the project that would involve 10 tradesmen. I met many other contractors previously, but I had no peace with any of them due to the sincerity, workmanship & customer satisfaction. On the first day that I met Adrian, the owner of the company, I had peace, that I could not find in others. I learned a lesson in a harder way in the past for not doing due diligence in selecting contractors. I handed him over 5 pages of detailed written description of the project after the initial meeting. He developed a proposal within a couple of weeks & then we began to break the ground.The project was dangerous due to the height of the roof lines (30 FT). And it required heavy equipment, labor and team co-ordination. For an example, the new city code required huge footings (5ft x 5ft x 5ft deep) to support 8 galvanized metal posts for the second floor sunroom (12FT high) & RV port (16FT high). The workmanship of his workers was incredible, even cleaning up after each work day. Finally, he was able to deliver a beautiful quality product beyond the expectation. My ugly big house has been literally transformed into “a marvelous piece of art”, according to my neighbors.I also find Adrian to be a man of integrity, who keeps his promise to every detail. We had to revise the original plan a few times, but he never charged extra as he had promised. I was able to relax during the entire course of the project due to his skillful handling of the project. I have had numerous visitors stopping by to compliment on their workmanship. It has been a great blessing to find such an honest, sincere and hard working crew, including Adrian’s brother Omar, who is an incredible master craftsman.

Total backyard and pool renovation -- new driveway, gates, patio cover, porcelain paver hardscaping, pool coping/tile/plaster/plumbing replacement, electrical, landscape lighting, artificial turf for the dogs, drainage, shed area preparation... They did it all!This was a BIG job and someone was here working EVERY SINGLE DAY until it was finished. Want a contractor that works to please, works every day, and returns phone calls? Call these guys!We now use them for plumbing and electrical jobs, roof repair, some landscaping work, and other stuff because they give great customer service.

These guys were great! From our first meeting with sales (Mike) to our final inspection, Adrian and his crew did right by us. They are hardly our first contractor, but they are the first contractor we would recommend to our friends and the first contractor we would gladly work with on future projects. Why? They left us feeling good. We feel good about our beautiful deck and its cover and our new windows. But more, we feel good about the wonderfully functional communication Adrian (and Jennifer at the office) maintained. We feel good about the decision-making and problem-solving. We feel good about getting a fair deal for an expensive project. We had been dreading taking on this project, but Adrian made it all work out good. Now we can look forward to the next project with a much more positive attitude.

The folks from So Cal Contracting are the best there is from price to finish work. The work they did for us putting in a pool, two patio covers, artificial grass and sod was to say the least impeccable. Every detail was taken care of, even the sprinklers were reviewed to ensure total coverage. You can not miss by using them.

It took a long time to decide on a contractor for my backyard remodel and throughout the bidding process it was clear that Adrian knew his stuff, had great prices, and even suggest things I would have never thought about doing, including a very unique allumawood/ natural wood combo patio cover.No construction project ever goes as expected of course, but throughout the process, Adrian was available to discuss our options and flexible with changes. We’re big on communication and that’s what really made the difference for us. We had other contractors involved, but Adrian and he’s team stood out to us because they were always in contact and available when needed. They were on time, did great work and always cleaned up there site on a daily basis. First off I used SoCal contractors for a patio cover and was happy with the work they did.We are now looking to have our Landscape redone I reach out to So Cal Contractors and was sorry that I did Horrible estimator, from the moment the estimator arrived he had an aggressive bullish attitude. If it was possible to give negative stars I would. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Really loved the end result with the patio cover that was ordered. Installation was great, on time and neat. Installer even stayed late sometimes to finish little stuff. Only issue was with up-date phone calls that should have been made to follow up on material completion and schedule installation date. Over-all, I am happy with what I paid for and the installation service. I would recommend So Cal contractors for future work.

Worst sales person EVER named Steve! He was nice at first, but when I questioned why his quote for a covered patio was 4 times higher than the price quoted at the OC Fair, he got angry and stormed off. Wasted an hour of my time. Ive done business many times with vendors at the fair, never had any bad experiences until yesterday. False advertisement!

SoCal contractors just completed a total backyard remodel for me. That included a patio cover, pavers, artificial turf, planting, painting, and a myriad of other little jobs to complete the picture. I was thrilled with the end result.... absolutely beautiful.The owner, Adrian, was so helpful in the design and his frequent stops to check on work being done. One of the best parts of this project was that I didnt have to worry about getting different contractors for the different parts of this job. It was a one stop, does it all kind of situation. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact, Im planning to have them do more work at a future time.

Provided a solid insulated patio cover for our family. The entire process was a smooth experience from meeting with the project consultant to design the patio cover to the construction crew on the installation process. Overall great experience with So Cal Contractors and remodeling.

Horrible company. Made a appt to have an estimate and the estimator never showed up. Appt scheduler was very defensive when I told her of our experience. Rather then try to fix or or even apologize she just kept saying that it wasnt them and then hung up me.

Bad Bad experience. Bad company to deal with.Avoid the trouble and do not contract this place.

This company is not the company for anyone to do business with. I had a set of plans to assist in what we wanted. We had a few other bids and they came in several thousand dollars below other bids. My husband signed the contract. Here is where the problem started! The company sent out a different guy to verify the original measurements. At this point it was discovered that they measurements wrong! The rude incompetent salesman called screaming at me telling me that I was a typical women that changed her mind and did not know what I wanted. Really I have plans drawn? Next he called my husband and said lets meet next week and go over this and remeasure and see what we can do. They came out and increased the bid by 13 thousand dollars. We said forget it l, give our money back. They said no you are beyond the 3 days recession period and we could not get it back and they considered this a change order. What a joke! We did not change anything because in writing the contract states patio cover to extend beyond Building and over barbecue. The back of our house is 40 feet and the BBQ area is 13 feet. The contract stated 40x13 so we thought we were all in the same page. We feel set up and that once we all figured out that it was wrong that we were going to work it out, no luck they just say were wrong We are not wrong look at the plans! They are refusing to return our deposit because it is beyon the 3 days. Well of course it is Steve called my husband and said lets work it out next week knowing it would be beyond the 3 days period!We are filing a complaint with the contractors board to get out money back. If you have Steve come out just say no!
