These guys are incredible! Absolutely honest and very very knowledgeable. They are the only ones I trust with my Mini Cooper, so much so that I drive all the way down from Los Angeles just for them to work on my car.

Ive been going to Westcoast Autobahn for over 6 years. My husband has been going here even longer. They are completely honest. They use Genuine parts. If you have multiple problems with your car, they will tell you which repairs need to be done urgently and which repairs can wait a month or two. They charge fair prices for their service. BMW engine repair for my 540i are $600 less than what the dealer quoted me last week. I once paid over $7,700 for an engine repair at the BMW dealership! When I told Steve (owner of Westcoast Autobahn) about how much I paid at the BMW dealership, he said thats how much it costs for the coffee and personal greeter at the BMW dealership (and we both laughed in unison). The personal greeter at the BMW dealership walks around, greets waiting customers, and throws a bunch of compliments at the customers lol. In the 6 years that Ive taken my car (and my husbands cars) to Westcoast Autobahn, weve gotten to know each other very well. Honest guys, low prices, and genuine parts = lots of business. Be prepared to wait long if youre getting your car repaired. My husband and I usually drop off our cars and pick them up later. If youre still using using the local Mercedes and BMW dealers, give Steve a try, you wont be sorry!

These guys have obviously been fixing Mercedes Benz for decades. Its a better choice than going to the dealer. For example, if you get a check engine light because one part is broken, the dealer will likely replace the broken item and possibly several other items unnecessarily, costing sometimes double the normal cost. West Coast Autobahn has fixed my 2007 several times, and all the work has held up. Ive saved some money as well.

Steve was very helpful and great with communication when it came to quoting and repairing the front airmatic strut on our 2011 E500. He has very reasonable prices and does quality work in a short amount of time.

My whole family has been taking their cars (BMW and Mercedes) to Steve at Westcoast Autobahn for years now. I recently bought a BMW my self and I had Steve do the major service on it. I was very pleased with the work and I agree with my family: Westcoast Autobahn is THE place to take your BMW or Mercedes to have it serviced or repaired. BTW, Steve also works on MINIs ;-)

CHARGED ME $80 FOR DOING NOTHING AND BROKE MY WINDOW. I came in to customize my car settings and get my Bluetooth code. He doesnt know how to use his machine and ended up clearing all settings from the prior owner. I went back to get it sorted out. Yes back another time to go through it and the settings were again not set. He told me well at least you got your Bluetooth code and walked back into his office, leaving me in the garage to leave. Now my right front window wont reset for auto up. He offered no way to fix it. So.. he actually broke my car!I am a BMW enthusiast. Ive owned and worked on 2 e30s and 2 e83s. I read all the forums and know a lot about these cars. Steve pretends that he does. Sure he CAN fix them but knows nothing about diagnosis, issues with models or how to improve anything. I went there because he has the machine I dont have and he was my closest BMW mechanic. There are 2 really knowledgeable enthusiast mechanics in the area, coast and ronin. Go to them, they might be slightly more expensive but they KNOW older BWWs. If you dont want to have something else break, steer clear of this guy. A five minute conversation with him will give you insight into his irrational logic and false inferences.Lastly, while I was there, another customer of his came back saying all of his lights were still on and his car was leaking oil. Steves response I dont know, bring it back next week. BAD!
