Definitely recommend Drop Hook Charters!! Captain Mike put us on the fish ! I had a wonderful time out on the water along with my girlfriend and my kids. I will definitely be coming back to fish with him.

This guy is a boat thief who will rip you off. Also likes to steal other charters GPS coordinates. Stay away from this charter.

Waited for this guy for an hour at the boat ramp. Started trying to get ahold of him, phone was turned off, Facebook page was deleted. Started reading posts about this guy. Not good. We called another charter to see about going out with them and we told him our story. He laughed and said that was funny. Needless to say my 5 hour drive was for nothing.

Mike and Anthony were both amazing. Put us on numerous fish species and knew how to target each. It was an amazing trip! We were booked for an 8 hour trip which ended up being close to 12 at the request of those fishing. Mike aims to please and it was a pleasure to fish with him. By far the best charter I’ve ever been on. I highly recommend and assure you that you will go home happy.

Deep sea fishing is hands down my favorite thing to do living in Florida. I’ve gone several times and have always had a great time, however, I booked an 8 hour charter for me and my boyfriend with Mike and had THE BEST TIME!Mike has a really cool personality, so it was very easy to get along with him. He also knows what the heck he’s doing. If I had a question, it was answered.Now to the good stuff, he put me on the fish. Again, I’ve used several other charters that I paid top dollar for and never caught as many fish as I did with Drop Hook Charters. Literally would drop the hook and there would be a bite within seconds. THIS WAS ALL DAY THOUGH! Literally, I barely had time to stop and drink water. Forget about eating your lunch, I had no time. The fish were hot!To give you an idea, we maxed out several species of fish, so many that we ended up having to throw back what we caught cause we already had too much.😪To top everything off, he even went over on the time limit cause we were just constantly catching fish. Once we got back, Mike showed me the ropes with cleaning them, however, I never touched the knife as him and Anthony cleaned and bagged it up for me!Also, Anthony, who was on the boat as a crew member is awesome! So informative, quick, and extremely helpful. Needless to say, I’m a lifelong customer. If you want to fish out of Jax and actually catch fish, Drop Hook Charters should be your first call.

If you want to go charter fishing this is the place they are respectful and you will have a good time and you will catch fish

Considered going on this vessel until learned the captain has no class or etiquette. Attempted to send someone on a competing charter to steal fishing spots. Thats a major violation in the fishing community I would advise against taking this charter due to captains lack of character..

This is a clown show, Captain hires people to take trips with other charters to steal their GPS spots. Avoid at all cost and book one of the many local guides with integrity instead.

Great Times all around with Captain Mike as our guide, he will be sure to put you onto the fish.. Had a great time out there fishing on the water. Excited about booking and going on the next trip!

Very disappointed to learn that the Captain of this charter encourages employees to book spots on competition boats to steal their fishing locations. I guess his Cuda fishing hole just isn’t cutting it anymore and wants to cheat his way into the snapper market.

Avoid this company like the plague. The captain is an inept fisherman, so much so, that he plotted to send an associate as a paid client on a competitors boat in order to steal GPS locations.Would you trust your life to somebody that shows such disregard for respect?

Drop hook is an awesome fishing charter i would recommend them to anyone.

This dude has no respect or his own brains to put you on fish. He has to steal spots to do so. Don’t go fishing with this fool! He’s just a loser!!

This guy got blasted on FB for stealing spots he claims he didnt but why else would he remove tag and unfollow the group after being blasted

This guy is a genuine crook. Do not do any business with Mike. Do not sell anything to him unless you are paid in full up front. He is a textbook definition of a conman. If you search Facebook there are many examples of this.
